    Well there was some Bailey story in the episode last week... although it was sad because she missed baby Tucker's Halloween.

    I'm starting to really like Alex's honesty and Izzie was hilarious with George ... and the look on his face ... priceless..... No worries about Alex and Lexie, since Alex is hung up on Rebecca. The sex was just that. Derek is taking care of Meredith in a way even he doesn't realize ... oh this is promising.

    Derek wants Meredith to let him past the sex too the whole relationship. He wants her to lean on him, to let him carry her when she needs and to let him be there for her. She is growing, but she is still not ready to let go of her fear. She is not ready to let someone else take care of her other than Cristina. And if you notice, Cristina cannot actually help Meredith all that much because she is also emotional stunted. I think that Meredith is realizing that she wants more out of everything, life, relationships, work and everything. She is growing, but until she can let Derek in, he is going to be on the outside. In a relationship, you do not want to be on the outside. You need to feel needed, wanted, loved, and desired. Meredith does need and want to give those things for Derek, but she is not ready to let him know that because she is still afraid to let any man too close. Don't worry, they are fixing that. I like the episode a lot. I like Hahn. I like how different she is from the others. Love Derek, Mark and the Chief, very funny. I am interested to see what happens with George and Izzie.

    I hear ya Matt. I was hoping for more Rebecca and Alex sex and certainly wasn't expecting Alex and Lexie sex ... but as I said before I've surrendered myself to the process and I'm actually enjoying things.

    I was happy with this episode except I didn't like the Alex/Lexie bit. That felt random and made no sense after last week. Otherwise it was classic Grey's. Chief's idea of the gentlemen's night out was as funny as when he went camping. I like Dr Hahn being on board. It brings back some balance with adding an additional attending, although never the same as with Burke. Meredith and Derek were both actually acting like adults in their relationship tonight. The scene in the oncall room was tender, poignant drama and they were TOGETHER. Do the writers get that is good tv, much better than the stuff they've been giving us for so long?

    I loved the on-call room scene...she was opening up to him...I think he noticed...I HOPE he noticed... I think that the skydiver helped her begin to notice.... Oh and I think there's something up w/ George and Izzie...I don't really think that she was exhaused....I mean, I know they love each other, but I think there's still some brother-sister feelings there...

    I agree Rose....I loved the Mer/Der scene and did think we finally saw some movement and growth in their relationship... now just give me more Alex and Rebecca. You know Alex said that all he can give is sex, so I'm thinking that's what lexie decided she needed/wanted so she took him up on the offer. I'm not going to get into whether I think that's right or not, it just is what it is. LOL I watched the preview for next week in ultra slow motion and it is Meredith in bed with Derek. Thank god for PVR.

    I have to say I loved watching Izzie take the time to lie in the OR and see things from her patient's perspectiv. I think that makes her a very special doctor, certainly one that I would want operating on me. I mean, as a lawyer I need to understnd where my client's are coming from and what they want to achieve, more than just doing my lawyer stuff. That really hit home for me. I loved that scene.
