I am just curious, did Ava went back to her husband?and what exactly was she wearing? becos she did left her red shirt behind. Next weeks promo looks funny, the chief walked in on merder at der's trailer. Lol.. its like ur dad walking in on u, that was hilarious.

I asked the same thing after last week hafsa ... Did anybody notice that Dr. Hahn is the same woman who played the girl stuck in the well in the movie Silence of the Lambs back in the 1990's. The podcast this week left little to be desired, as it was just an interview with Brooke Smith (Dr. Hahn). There was no Shonda or Betsy to talk about everything else that happened this week so I was somewhat disappointed.

My son recognized Brooke Smith right away from Silence of the Lambs. I've never watched it, but he also told me way back that George's saying make the lambs stop screaming was from that movie. All I can figure about Ava and her shirt, is that they are implying she had a jacket with her and wore that home. I think Meredith being at Derek's trailer next week is encouraging, since she may be spending the night? But it says he wants more from her and obviously does not get anywhere with that, since he goes out on his freakin date the following week. I am finding the usual lack of continuity in the writing, episode to episode this season, but I am getting so used to it. Especially with Derek, there is so little continuity. One week he declares his undying love, the next week has no connection with Mer and decides to start dating, this week he's back to being lovesick and falling all over her. Someone once posted that Derek is moodier than a woman with PMS, so true about him or the writing team...

I agree Rose, especially about the whole date thing... one more week and then after that the whole scene changes with the arrival of Lauren Stamile. Isn't Thanksgiving coming up soon for those of you in the U.S.? We already had it here in Canada. Will there be another Thanksgiving episode or will we have a week without Greys?

So....For the first time in 2 years I missed an episode of Grey's Anatomy...I did record it, I just haven't watched it yet...instead I went on a hot date...and it was hot...hope the epi was good!

well Rose, Ava told Alex the thing about how her baby was comforted at night by being wrapped in one of her shirts, so that it'd feel like she was close... so Ava was trying to let Alex stay close to her when she wasn't there... I think. And Alex is an idiot for sleeping with Lexie... especially since he knows he lives in Meredith's house... hello!

Episode was good. Loved Mer & Der in the on call room. I hope he realizes she's trying to open up - not so sure since he said what he did to Yang in the gallery about Mer not letting him take care of her. What does he want from her - she's trying here. Loved Dr. Hahn's comment "pretty & prettier" - I think she and Mark will hook up.

I hate the George and Izzie storyline. When she told him they were going to have hot sex, I felt so icky. They've basically had a brother and sister best friend relationship and now they want to have hot sex? Seriously. Gross, gross, gross. I was happy to see Meredith's growth. Although it is difficult to go from recognizing your issues to actually solving them, acknowledging them in the first place is pretty difficult. I hope that the new love interest for Derek will help her to further realize how important he is to her life and how she really needs to deal with her issues to get him for good.

Okay first of all. what in the HELL was that!? I always look forward to grey's anatomy on thursday nights. but as of last night everything has just gone down hill. I don't like the fact that shonda's trying to drive a wedge between izzie and cristina. I don't like the fact that Alex is hung up on Rebecca/Ava. I also don't like the fact that he slept with Lexie. I don't like the fact that Shonda is still hung up on the breakup sex. it's disgusting. Enough with the sex already. Haha. with all the negativity i've got going on. is there anything good that I CAN say about this episode? Yes there is. I love the fact that Callie was able pick herself up and just let go. u don't see her moping over george. of course. Callie to me doesn't seem like the type of girl who WOULD mope over a man. And Hopefully in time she'll be able to forgive Izzie. but I don't see that happening. Like I said. Callie's the sort of person I always wanted to be.

Like I said before, I actually enjoyed last night's episode. I think Dr. Hahn is bitchy but great for the show/hospital. She calls things the way she sees them (like Alex) but she tries to be respectful about it and explain her reasoning. It might not always be a reason we like or agree with, but at least she gives one. I am pleased with Meredith's growth. I don't think she is the only one who needs to grow either. What that patient said about Derek, the bird-guy who said Derek has sad eyes, is very telling. Derek is super-duper emotional. As one who suffers from this herself, it can be a blessing and a curse. I am interested to see what's in store for him and how he grows.
