The writers are just continuing to set it up to give Derek a so-called excuse to go with someone else. What Meredith did with the ashes was not a proper way to handle human remains, but it was in character for her. Its ridiculous that it would have bothered Derek to that degree. About Alex and Ava, did anyone notice how tiny she is compared to him? in the tv guide article about them, it says there is about an 8" difference in height. They look adorable together though. Wow, Alex is one hot kisser....its ABOUT TIME they put him in a leading man capacity. Alex is a very passionate kisser! That scene was amazing! I hope they start focusing on their storyline a lot. It could get very interesting, with the baby and her husband that she doens't like. Maybe she will help Alex become more compassionate. Notice how he told Norman he was sorry he wasn't there? Jerk Alex would not have said that. I am not sure what Shonda and her team are trying to do with merder, but whatever it is i am not happy. In fact derek's character has started to get on my nerves. It seems as if he doesnt know what he wants any more. So he told mer he will wait for he, that was suppose to be a man madly in love, then some few days later he wants to start dating? seriously? why? i just dont understant. grrrr.... that was me freaking out big time.Posted 10/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hey Rose, I agree that it shouldn't have bothered Derek the way it did. I too am proud of Meredith because she's wanting to grow and taking the first steps at doing so. Bring on the hot hot hot that is Alex and Rebecca/Ava ... makes me forget about the Mer/Der drama of it all. I hope she sticks around for a while and I agree that the whole her being married and having a baby could be interesting especially when you put it next to the whole Gizzie relationship and what happened there. I also feel Meredith and Lexie deserve a big thumbs up. At first I thought Lexie was going to be rude about Meredith bringing her mom to the hospital. I don't know how I feel about Dr. Hahn. I guess we do need a cardiotherastic to replace Burke, but I don't know how she'll fit in. I think she won't get a ton of the storylines, but she will play a vital role in the development particularly of Cristina as a doctor. There is only 1 thing that bothers me about Hahn...her voice...it just seems sooooo monotone...or something..I dunno. Its not Burke but i guess she will do. So is Ava going to return...hopefully it just wasn't a 1 night stand.
