    maybe he is still drunk somewhere....i just don't understand how someone can turn thier feelings off and say they need to start dating..I mean in Grey's Anatomy world its been like what a year in a half or something, so all that work and he can just start dating..

    I do like that we are seeing glimpses of how Derek and Mark's friendship was in the past. I laughed out loud when the kid called Mark "Daddy". I also thought it was hilarious when Norman told the foot guy that he thought cutting off your own foot was a crazier thing. Which doctor do you think that Mark will have the crush on?

    I think secretly he has a crush on Mer but won't and can't do anything about it, cause we all know he did that before. I laughed soo hard when that kid called him daddy j, still laughing...but if not Mer..I totally see him trying to get with Callie

    In Grey's time it would only be maybe 5 months or so since the prom. right? An awful lot happened to Mer in that time. Derek may be mouthing the words that he will wait, but he was the least suppotive of Mer tonight.

    I think Mark did not really understand until tonight how screwed up Mer's childhood was. I think once he heard her no trick or treating story, he gained a better appreciation for her. Maybe he will help MerDer's relationship over this season, since he broke up his marriage.

    thats a very good and intresting point j...WOW 5 months is a very short time for all that to happen to MEr...thats crazy..and MAN did she had a very lonely deprived childhood..who took care of Mer when she was a kid...never mentioned a nanny or family or anything

    yes ladies i agree w/all of what you've said! mark's secret crush on mer but that he won't go there again. mark getting to know mer better and possibly getting the two of them back together. i like it!
