OMG.. the love of jeremy and beth is so sweet.
and the rock guy is freaking crazy cute. but yeah, probably a really stupid move on his part, but hey, what wouldnt we do for love? ~ hmm, but i kinda wonder how old that girl and her friend's are and whay she cares so much.
I was surprised that everything seemed to be resovled in the end. Almost everyone got what they wanted[well almost everyone]. I just have one question, when is Mark Sloan going to get a real love interest? Addison left for L.A, Hahn just said she couldn't date a co-worker and Callie was just his sex buddy. He needs someone to really love him. And I would like to recommand me.[hahaha] If Shonda decides to hold auditions for his love interest instead of getting some big name actress. I'll be the first one in line.[wishful thinking]
I do have to say that it was nice finally seeing Alex show some emotions. In fact it was nice to see everyone acting in a way that they usually wouldn't. It was also nice to get to know everyone a little bit better. Who would have guessed that Christina has dyslexia or that Meredith's mother tried to kill herself in front of her?
Yay for George, he'll get to re-take the test. He should have been able to do that in the first place. Who knew he had failed the test by only on point?!? I thought he had failed it by serveral points.
Hahn and Callie...I saw that one coming and I think that it could work out. I think Callie had felt something for Hahn for awhile but was afraid of what people were going to say and think. Even though there are some Grey's fans on some of the message boards who are totally against this I'd just like to say that we should wait until season five before we start throwing the rotten eggs.
One more thing though, when was Mark talking dirty to Callie? I must have been in the restroom when they showed that one.
OK, I'm glad to see you're all happy about last night finale :)
I haven't watched it yet, but I'm getting there lol. Don't bring up those sad storylines for season 5, please. let's just enjoy in this moment, moment we've all been waiting for. Yeah, i heard Shonda said something like getting them back together but that it doesn't mean they'll be happy. And I'm saying, that's just an old story: we saw them together and apart, so don't get them together if they're not going to stay like that, at least for quite some time or even 4ever. you know what I mean??
Anyways, thank you all for a recap, I'll be back with some of mine thoughts when I finish with watching...

Oh. My. GOD! THAT was the best ending possible to the any finale! I wonder which kiss was sopossed to be the MOST unforgettable. I think it was Mer/Der, cuz Shonda said it all ends with a good kiss. The other ones were good too. I didn't particularly like the Callie/Hahn kiss, but I'm glad that Callie is making her own decisions, and doesn't need anyone to tell her it's wrong or right. Alex and Izzie. I don't think many people saw this one coming. Well, true, I saw the kiss coming, but Alex begging, literally begging, Izzie to kiss him, that's a more sensitive, more normal side of Alex I haven't seen since he stood by Ava's bedside. Finally, my thoughts on Mer/Der. I don't think the episode could've ended better. Unless of course, the kissing was followed by Mer/Der sex, but still. I loved how Meredith used the candles to show their house. It really does show that she is growing, and wants to be with Derek. And I love how Derek was all like, "you know what? Forget Rose! I want to be with you." I loved that. LOVED that. The other thing I really liked about Mer/Der was when Derek was watching Beth be wheeled to the operating room, and he was talking about how I've let HER down. HER. Not them (their patients, or the patient's parents) but HER. MER. YES!
So I guess what I'm trying to say is THANK YOU SHONDA!! THANK YOU FOR MER/DER! And that it's gonna be the longest summer ever. Can't wait to see what happens in Season 5!

still recovering from all the emotions of last night here! was that something or what?!?
not going to try to recap, since matt does such a good job of it - lol. i have to say kudos to you my friend for calling all of this like 2 years ago. i still secretly think you are one of the writers on the show! 
there are so many things that made me scream YES!!! last night......the der/mer stuff goes without saying, but the second thing that made me happiest was getting rid of rebecca and having izzie be there for alex!!!! i have been wanting that to happen since denny was around. i just love alex and izzie together - i hope it turns out to be for the long haul. it was truly heartwrenching watching alex break down - i love his character and i'm so glad we're delving into his background finally.
george and lexie were great as well. they're both so good w/the comedy - they cracked me up more than a few times last night. she's definitely falling for him if her reaction to that kiss means anything.
cristina with the sparkle pager - how freakin funny was that? she's getting back to herself which is wonderful. i think her depression paid tribute to the relationship that was burktina, but i'm glad she's back.
still not sure what to think about callie/hahn. i thought for sure hahn was going to turn out to not be gay since it was leaning so far in that direction from the beginning. not my favorite storyline, but they can't all be der/mer lol.
the chief and bailey were awesome as usual. bailey with that kid in the cement - she's just amazing! loved the chief telling adele like it is too! i guess that's what she's been wanting all along - him to take a stand and prove he cares.
der/mer.......loved that ending with the candles - but seriously, don't they have cell phones or couldn't they have paged eachother instead of running all over town missing eachother!!!! i knew we'd only get the requisite 3 minutes of der/mer time at the end, but i don't care - they're back and it feels good dammit!!!!!!
do you think Izzie will really follow through with feelings for Alex or is she just being there for him because she cares for his well-being as a friend?
do you think George will continue his "eyes-wide-shut" trend of being oblivious to the opposite sex's feeling until it is either too late or it slaps him in the face with Lexie?
what do you think will become of Sloan? He's obviously taken great strides emotionally to find out who he is... and we see that when he removes himself from the picture so that Callie can be happy, honestly happy.
I agree, it is nice to finally see Christina again, but a matured and humbled version of her. Not only did she appreciate the chief's public scolding of Erica, but took it to heart as well... making an honest attempt at becoming an acting mentor, and for the one person who I feel she has resented for so long... Lexie. Even if it was vicariously resenting her through or /for/ Mer.
I hope that Mer and Der can truly move forward with a life full of growth and change... and maybe even inspire others around them to make the necessary leap to let the ones they love know that they love them... be extraordinary together, instead of just ordinary apart.
i'd really like to see Sloan fall for someone head over heals and see how hard it can be. He's watched Derek all these years and it hasn't been for him - I'd love to watch that unold. He really showed some heart when he told Callie to go for it, it really made me respect him more than I have.
OMG I LOVED THE EPISODEEEE!! it was so perfect. i'm SO GLAD FOR MERDER!! haha. i knew it just had to happen, but seeing it happen was just amazing. meredith and the house! YAY!!! i'm glad alex realized rebecca needs serious help. he needed to realize that. i'm thinking another alex/izzie storyline coming on in season 5. i like them together. and finding out some stuff about alex's past finally?! awesome! even if it was some not so good stuff. and george and lexie better not start going out. i hope that was just a one off kiss. i mean, george has gone out with too many of his best friends already haha.
i really did love the episode though. it was perfect. i'm glad they ended off the season like that. all the background we got on the characters was awesome too. next season is gunna be amazing! i cant wait!!
That episode was awesome! I CANNOT wait until it comes back on for the next season! I am SO glad that there was a MerDer kiss! and what about alex? crazy! I hope he gets over Ava/Rebecca. He is better then that. I dont know about Lexie breaking into the Chiefs desk. kinda crazy. I wonder if anyone will figure out. hmm. cant wait until next season! YAY!
ohhhhhhhhhhh god, i'm so happy about the ending!!!! but a little unsatisfied too. i wished meredith and derek would spend a love night out there between the candles and maybe create their first kid ;-)
i'm so hoping that we will see him getting back to meredith where she is still waiting for him and giving her a ring which he bought for her a long time ago. sure it would be great if there suddently appears a priest who weds them immediately but not too much trash, you're right ;-)
an alternative: derek has quit with rose, wants to drive home to meredith and has a little accident. meredith is called from hospital that she should come immediately.
or: derek has quit with rose and drives to meredith, but she has already fell asleep as she has taken blankets out to their "house" and lay down there on the ground. ohhhhh i can see it how sweet derek would look at her and rests himself beside her and warms her with a loving embrace...
or a horrible scene: she is gone when derek comes back!!!! but why, i can't tell and i don't want to think about any devastating moments of meredith and derek!!! b/c shonda can't disapoint us so badly again after what we went through!!!!!!!!!! and a pregnancy of rose,... no way, no way!!!!!!!!!!!! forget it, shonda!!!!! make us happy in the fifth season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
