Who in there right mind says Mer/Der are boring? These people must have NEVER been in LOVE. Love HURTS, it's FUN,Happiness,Tenderness,heart wrenching Sweet,Loving and Romantic ALL IN ONE. Love is an emotional Roller Coaster. I don't want to see Der with anyone but Mer. If there is a problem with their relationship, it's the WRITERS FAULT. This is not what Dempsey wants. He's said this many a times.But, he does not do the writing.The people doing the writing (or) control the writing are emotionally unstable and this is what we get.This is not what we fans signed up for.I think all of us see or feel a little of our selves in Mer/Der.If they make it, then we know there is chance we will also.Hope is Eternal. I have become indifferent about the show for a while now. I have ALWAYS been a Mer/Der and Cristina/Burke fan.These 2 couples are the foundation of the show. With Shonda chipping away at the foundation it has become not worth watching at times.But, last nite when Mer placed her hand on Der's to comfort him and when they left Joe's hand in hand the way he looks at her I could have cried. This man LOVES this Woman and she him. Come hell or high water in my heart and mind they will ALWAYS be TOGETHER. And Shonda CANNOT take that away from me.Posted 11/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Gloria, you are such a romantic, luv ya! and so right about what you said. I don't know what we'd do without your passion on our forums. Greysaddiction, your encouraging words were sweet, thank you. I just don't know if I can watch. This week, seeing Derek's beginning interest in the nurse made me want to cry. Hearing about it is one thing, seeing it is another. I sure don't want to spend my holiday season feeling heartbroken over Derek having an affair with the nurse. So we'll see. LOL "Heal with love Sidney" is now "Share with Sidney". Rose I hear ya. I know Derek and Meredith will be together but this hiatus and growth period won't be so easy to watch if Derek sleeps with her. It was odd even when he was with Addi (intimately) because we knew he wanted to be with Meredith and that's likely why we could deal with it. It's different this time around ... and I can't explain it. I think it would be horrible if the season ended because of the strike and Derek and Rose were in the middle of a "relationship", but I read today that the writers guild and the Alliance are heading back to the bargaining table on Monday. Rose: That's true about seeing Der with someone else and that scene being imprinted on your brain for life. I still have the Marry me scene imprint word for word and the season finale scene with him begging Mer for her love. If I get alzheimer's in fifty years from now. Even if I forget everyone and everything, I bet I'll remember those two scenes. Right now at this moment I don't know if I'll be able to watch him with someone else. That's why I have 2 bottles of wine in the cooler.If I do watch, I really need to be numb for it. Thank heaven Ava's coming back.I really miss her. Like Trisha said hope Alex doesnot mess this up. She really gets under his skin. She knows how to press his buttons and make him face things. She is really good for Alex. But, then again Shonda will be doing the writing while the strike is on.At least these next two epis. This just in from the TV NEWS MEDIA. The Guild and the alliance are going back to the tablesMonday, Nov. 26 after Thanksgiving. Maybe that's why the universal studios suspened all contracts for the actors of these shows for the next 5 weeks, The office, 30 Rock and the Bionic Woman. The actors will be paid half of their salaries. Per union rules. Oh, maybe that why Shonda/Co won't have a new epis. for Nov 29th. Nov 29th will be a rerun of episo. 1 season 4.Next new episo. after Nov 22 is Dec. 03.And that's all she wrote. They don't have any new scripts written after 12/03.Posted 11/17/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I know I said I would not continue to read spoilers, but I guess I'm looking for any little bit of HOPE I can find when it comes to Mer/Der...And I am still optimistic about these two. But when I find something that I consider ENCOURAGING...I feel so much better. Don't know if this is true, but I want to believe it and thought I would share it. This was posted on another site: Hello, I agree we are all getting upset over fiction. I have a cousin who is a staff person for ugly betty show. She has been with abc for 15 years and is up there in management. She says that it will all work out with Mer/Der it is going to take some time. She also said that Ellen and Patrick are close friends and he loves giving her a hard time about all the hate towards her on the blogs. They do read.
