I was thinking about this last night about Meredith and her Father. In Greek mythology most of the heroes had to face there fathers to become the person that they where suppose to be. They have to know where they come from to know where they are going and I think the same thing applies to Meredith. She has faced part of where she has come from with her mother. She is understanding that side of her better now. But there is this whole part of her that she does not understand or know and that is the the part of her father that is apart of her. She has to understand where she has come from to know where she is going. I think that Lexie will help her reconcile with her father and even if she does not help that much, Meredith will need to face him before she can become more whole and healthy. Hi guys, I've been out of town during the Memorial Day weekend, but now I'm back. If we're talking looks, I must say I love Mer's eyes, but overall I think she's too skinny. My favorite is probably Izzie and Addison, when it comes to how they look. The men I know that watch GA, they say Addison, Callie and Izzie are their favorites. Both Mer and Cristina are too thin, they say. About the idea of having Cristina and Alex together, that's an intresting thought. If Burke and Cristina is really over, I'm sure they're going to (maybe not immediately, but after a a while) have Cristina with someone else. But still, it feels strange and difficult to imagine how she would be with someone else. We have only seen her with Burke for 3 seasons, I don't know how she would be, act and feel like with someone else. I really love what you mcdreamy02 said about people, that the show is abut finding your person and so on. I absolutely love that post. I think many of the girls in the show has done that, they have found friendship and their persons, now it would be interesting to see more of some male bonding.Posted 5/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Gee, second post of greek mythology around here (remember phoenix), but I think you are pretty right. My mother in law was almost a baby when her father died in WW II and her mother married again very quickly and about her father was never talked very much, but she always missed this side of her personality. When her mother died in her late 80s a few years ago, she finally had the chance and courage to talk to one cousin of her father before that cousin died, too. It helped her so much to understand so many things. I think Izzie is pretty, but I really have to take a much closer look at the other ladies on tonights show (yes, it's Grey's Day). On the rumors about IW applying for other jobs - maybe he will be back for only a few scenes next season and will be back for good (with Cristina) on season 5. Oh, that sounds cruel for all Bruktina fans, but at least I tried to think of something so we don't loose him entirely.Posted 5/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Just for the sake of balance, my husband wants to know, what guy is best looking in your opinion - well, he knows, shares and respects mine and I don't have to tell you. In my opinion Derek, Burke and Mark are the best looking guys. I can't explain why. But several of my friends think George is the best looking guy (they like that kind of boyish look) and another one says Alex is hot and sexy and the best looking guy because he has that fresh sporty look. Hi everyone! hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! Ausfan, so that's where you've been--hope you had a fun holiday. We like to keep obsessing here, because it keeps the characters and show alive for us until the new season! Pschyrembel--imo every Grey's guy is drop-dead gorgeous, except George who is very cute.
