What a great episode! I think, like many of you have said, that MerDer need to talk about what happened the day of the fairy accident. He had to pull her out from the water twice that day, and he's yet to come to terms with that. I have always loved Cristina, and I am thrilled that Bang is finally going t have it's wedding! And when it comes to the Emmys...for season three I'd have to say Ellen Pompeo has accomplished the most as an actor...she has really shown layers and layers of Meredith's character!Posted 4/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I would second that as well as Katherine Heigl and PD!Posted 4/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Yeah i think Ellen needs to be nominated to but I also think Sandra has had an amazing season as well with her insane and dramatic story lines, and she just plays cristina so well she amazes me every time I watch greys because she is just such an amazing actress! I mean she can seriously do anything! Shes just so great and shes canadian so i am totally hoping she gets nominated!! lol And I really wish Isaiah didn't pull his name out of the running just because of the stupid controversy because he has also had an amazing season also with his story lines! but I guess he thought it was the right thing to do but I just think that Isaiah and Sandra have stood out quite a bit this season with their intensity, and their chemistry, its just so great to watch them! But I also do love Ellen she soo deserves to be nominated for best actress! espcially the 3 day episodes when she died! that was sooo crazy and she was so great even though she was dead her afterlife scenes are among some of my most fav scenes on greys! and I just love her and Cristinas relationship on Greys I mean when Mer wole up from after she died wow that scene when Cristina was crying with her because her person died! every time I see it I cry because its such a good scene with Ellen and Sandra! hmm who else should be nominated! I don't know about Katie Heigl she has really shined this season so much, and TR either well for me anyway they haven't been the ones who have I haven't really cared about that much this season. OMG Chandra sooo needs to be nominated!!! I love Bailey I think her character has grown soo much! and of course we can't leave out the one and only Patrick Mcdreamy Dempsy! hes just such an awsome actor and he has also had a great season! and I think Greys in general should be nominated because it is the BEST SHOW ON T.V.!!!!!!!!!!!! lol but thats what i think about the emmys!Posted 4/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Very nice, McDreamy02! (Actually I like that one better than the one that's been taken for this site! ;-) Congrats BTW!) Yeah, I think, Patrick Dempsey not only deserves to be nominated but also deserves to win! This season he really had the opportunity to show his acting skills - especially during these episodes when Mer died! He really was amazing! About the recent episode: I'm glad that Derek finally told Meredith what troubles him! Many around here entitled him as an ass for the way he did - well, I don't. I was more surprised by Mer who just left at that point. But she's still got a lot to learn about "communication" as she proved in this episode. It's not about annoying someone with informing about where she is and what she does. But as she's never had a proper relationship before (neither whith a man nor with her mother etc.) she'll catch up on this communication problem as well - with Derek's help.Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

You guys are so funny cuz y'all think Katherine Heigl and Patrick Dempsey deserves an Emmy nomination/award. Seriously? Ellen Pompeo has remarkably improved this season, but believe me, it's always gotta be Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson and Isaiah Washington (though IW withdrew himself from the list of nominees). And Kate Burton.Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Isaiah Washington? Are YOU serious?? Nah... I don't think Katherine Heigl deserves a nomination either. Sorry to those who love those two - but that's my opinion!Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Uhm. Just a quick recap of the award-receiving cast members. Talking about an actual award-giving body here (meaning, not winning through public votation but by the decision of a panel of judges based on specific criteria), just to be clear. Sandra Oh - SAG, Golden Globes, etc. Chandra Wilson - SAG Isaiah Washington - SAG, NAACP So... of course it's gotta be Isaiah Washington. And I am serious. Dead serious.Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I'm surprised that most of you still think that Grey's Anatomy is the best TV show. I can say that for seasons one and two. But for this season, they jumped the shark big time. It's like Shonda and company has already ran out of ideas, and resorted to those unrealistic and ridiculous ones. If Grey's actually wins in the Emmy's, luck has a lot to do with it. I realized that in the GAI forums, I have to make myself explicit so I'm gonna say (just for the heck of it) that the reason I continue watching the show is to follow Burke and Cristina's story line, and the rest are just details that I can skip without thinking twice.Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I just listened to the podcast and it was great. Now DerMer; I think that they are going to be ok. They said that Derek is afraid because the Ferry Boat incident showed him that what he really loves and cares about is Meredith and she did not swim. So metaphorically he is worried, he is worried about her and that she will not swim again and that he will not be there; he cannot trust her to be there, so he has to be hyper vigilant. He has also been faced with the idea of her not being there and that scares him. He feels like he is breathing for Meredith and it is exhausting him, it is freaking him out and frustrate him and that is an honest thing to be thinking and feeling. Meredith on the other hand has never been in a relationship, lost her mother and trying to figure out where her loyalties lie. The experience of drowning was a very different experience for her than it was for him and they are going to talk about it in the next episode. Shonda said that he comes out of thinking that he could lose her and she comes out of it thinking that I don't want to be lost. So they are in different places, but with the same goal; not losing what you love most. So I hope that this is a good sign for them. They want the same thing really, they just need to share that with each other. They need to share their fears, which Derek did some of last time, and share their hopes. If they can do this throughout the net few episodes, I think that they will be in a better place with each other.Posted 4/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #
