that was so awesome, but i agree he surpassed that one with the this cake for this day for this woman line. and i cant believe izzie told preston of all people. it was sad for us merder fans, derek was an ass, and ive really liked him up untill now. well, he's still mcdreamy but im not happy with the way he's handling his concern. he should've asked why she didnt swim. but the bang moment at the end was totally awesome. couldnt get any better. see, im a perfect example of how merder fans can love bang too.Posted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Schmalantines--I did think you seemed kind of familiar as maybe someone from here who changed their nick. And yes, I have seen the worst on this board. It was a very painful time when IW was being bashed. It drew out the worst in many fans, including some of those here. If you notice though, most of those folks seem to have disappeared just as quickly as they appeared out of the woodwork when that issue surfaced. The regulars we have now are pretty nice people to spend time with. The kind that care about each other's characters. About Derek, if you're interested, I didn't see him as being mean at all. It felt refeshing to me that he finally stopped trying to be Meredith's caretaker, and told her how deeply he is hurting inside. I don't know how old you are, but those who've experienced mature adult relationships recognize that honestly is essential to trust and true intimacy. I have to to say, it is a good episode! Derek did what I have wanted him too for a long time, he told Meredith how he feels. He actually told her what is in his heart. You could see the pain in his eyes. He said that he loves her, but he cannot breath for her. I really like that he told her. I think that they will work this through. Relationships take honesty to work and now the ball is in Meredith’s court. The idea that Derek is being an ass is ridiculous. Being in a serious relationship is all about being honest and open with your partner. Derek is scared to death that Meredith has some kind of death wish. He is not sure if he can deal with that, because it is draining on him. It may be hard to hear, but Derek's honesty is refreshing. Rose is right! Meredith sees that there is something wrong. Their relationship is growing. Meredith is trying and now she knows what Derek fears. She is going to have to come to terms with what Derek said and learn from it. She did not fight and that is something that she has to deal with in the land of the living. I do think that they will do it together, so don’t worry, they are doing what is healthy for their relationship. Burke and Cristina are doing well. It is going to be good to see them finally tie the knot. It was good to see all the interns studying and happy at their place. Burke had a great moment with Izzie and with Derek. It was good to se e him be their for them. Derek needed his advice and I think that his advice was the catalyst for Derek sharing his feelings with Meredith.Posted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hello everybody, I just have to protect poor Derek. Actually would you act mature and sensible and sensitive and all that if you were in his place? We always think other people are not supposed to do mistakes, but they do and sometimes there are reasons. But as someone wrote earlier - if they make it through it will make them stronger and there is nothing better than growing together. Nobody is perfect and sometimes it just takes a while to do the right moves. Actually my husband is always getting mad at Meredith - he had a girlfriend just like her and she drove (?) him crazy with all of her issues and difficulties and problems and thoughts and don't do this and don't go away but please don't stay... So Meredith: a little less conversation (communication), a little more action please.... Oh, I have to add: I guess Derek thought he was Meredith's knight in shining whatever and then he found out he has bitten off more than he can chew. In real life no one is supposed to be his partners knight. I can't breathe for you sonds a little like, I can't keep you alive, I can't keep us alive without you helping me. After sex is best time to talk - when you are happy. It's very intimate and you might lose your second thoughts or fears and just talk what is on your heart. If you have problems it might not be a good time, but I think you shouln't have sex if you are having problems. But that is one thing Meredith has never figured out - actually most Grey's people have sex either because they are in a bad mood or they are tired - both motivations I cannot even share in theory...Posted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Have to agree with all of you. Right after sex, not the best time, but Derek needed to share his feelings... I mean, that's what relationships are all about. Meanwhile, Mark being concerned about Addison makes me happy. He really wants her and is upset that she had sex with Alex. And Alex was kind of an ass to Addison. Geroge transfering to Mercy West...yeah, not gonna happen. B/C if he does that, Callie will know that something really isn't right between him and Izzie, and she'll eventually find out Burke and Cristina though...OH MY GOD they were so adorable! I liked the whole cake thing and at the end where he starts to make out with her at the end. Oh, I can't wait for next week! I think that Derek is going to be there for Meredith after Thatcher (I think) slaps her. And I kinda want Mark to go after Addison. I think it would be so cute if he did...go to California and profess his undying love for Addison. And dresses! Oh it'll be great!!!!!!Posted 4/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #
