It's okay, I'm not tortured. I have season 1 and 2 on DVD and am recording season 3 as it airs here. we are up to episode 8 or 9 but the network here will spin it out for ever and you'll have started season 4 before we finish. At least i can chat here about it.Posted 4/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

yes yes i remember that Betsy....der looks very forlorn b/c he thinks she's making light of what's troubling him. at the beginning, she has no clue whatsoever that he's not giving her space -- he's taking his own space away from her. dang but she's a self-centered little thing isn't she?Posted 4/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

She is certainly a little self obsessed. And yet they project such intuative chemistry that you really feel the 2 characters will grow with each other. Time will tell!Posted 4/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Well I am on now, I watch them at nine with the next door neighbor. I have to to say, it is a good episode! Derek did what I have wanted him too for a long time, he told Meredith how he feels. He actually told her what is in his heart. You could see the pain in his eyes. He said that he loves her, but he cannot breath for her. I really like that he told her. I think that they will work this through. Relationships take honesty to work and now the ball is in Meredith's court. Meredith sees that there is something wrong. Their relationship is growing. Meredith is trying and now she knows what Derek fears. She is going to have to come to terms with what Derek said and learn from it. She did not fight and that is something that she has to deal with in the land of the living. I do think that they will do it together, so don't worry, they are doing what is healthy for their relationship. Izzie and George are fine, they are not fine. George is realizing that he loves Izzie and that if he wants to stay married, he is going to have to leave the hospital. I do not think that it is going to happen. I think that Callie is going to divorce George when she learns the extent of the feelings between George and Izzie. She was right in the elevator, he does love Izzie; he loves her more than Callie and that is for sure. Alex and Addy, now we know what is driving Addy away. I think that it would be better to have Addy stay because she is driving Alex to grow, so I am hoping that the spin-off does not work out. Alex is scared to be anyone else. Eva is right, he is decent and a good guy, but he is scared to let anyone in. He does not know how to allow people to be part of his life like that. It is good to see him grow. Mark, I am liking more and more. He is great comic relief. I felt sorry for him tonight. He is trying to be a better man. I cannot wait to see how they grow his character. Burke and Cristina are doing well. It is going to be good to see them finally tie the knot. It was good to see all the interns studying and happy at their place. Burke had a great moment with Izzie and with Derek. It was good to se e him be their for them. Derek needed his advice and I think that his advice was the catalyst for Derek sharing his feelings with Meredith. I am glad that the Chief got a kick in the butt. I think that he should stay on longer as chief. He has been floundering. I think that he will stay on and mentor the rest of the cast on how not to do the job. The way to keep the relationships at home and the job. I think that he will stay on, so that the others will not have to work harder and therefore have better home lives. I think that he sees how much he has done wrong and wants to not be just a surgery coach, but a life coach as well.Posted 4/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I don't know if its self-centeredness so much as being an emotional cripple. Given Meredith's upbringing, its not hard to understand why she is so afraid to let go and reveal her true feelings. I think she was getting scared of Derek drifting away and was trying to act nonchalant about it. but Derek will help her open up because they truly love each other.Posted 4/26/2007 1:00:00 AM #
