     gosh i just don't remember an elevator scene w/them...oh wait it was izzie and george in the elevator, not callie! callie is there when the elevator doors open up. and you're right they might almost kiss. it's probably just a tease tho. ausfan......they talked but it wasn't enough. mer went to his trailer at the end and they had sex, but afterwards he was still all dark and twisty and she tried to talk to him, and he finally said that he was so freaked out when she drowned, esp. b/c he knows she can swim. he told her he's not sure he can be there to breathe for her anymore. a metaphor obviously. you know what tho, maybe this is the kick in the butt mer needs to step up and fight for her man. let him know that she wants and needs him just as much as he wants and needs to be with her.

     i guess the horrifying thing shonda was referring to was the nasty little catfish that swam up the board guy's stream of pee to lodge in his bladder while he was swimming in the amazon river! lmao

     Hi Angie--I have to watch it over again to really absorb everything, i'm going to do that in a minute. I don't think I'm too upset about what Derek said to Meredith though. I think MD02 may be right about it. They needed to confront these issues and they haven't up till now. Meredith has to go through this in order to get the strength to tell Derek that she fought for her life, to come back to him. She would just go along trying to fix things with sex and bantering until she is forced to really communicate, by Derek withdrawing from her.

     hi Betsy! ok good you watch again, and come back and tell me what you think afterwards. i know you're right, but ughhhh they were so close to really talking about everything, but she left so abruptly. i guess he really hurt her feelings, but you know what - good for him! she deserved to hear that and now she knows how much pain he's been feeling. the ball's really in her court right now. does she know enough to hit it back?

     And I have no idea what the wonderful and horrifying (?) thing was, but I was thrilled the Chairman of the Board gave Richard that kick in the butt I've been waiting for. Yay, he will start thinking about staying now.

     Margaret, I tape every Grey's episode. Videotape is good because you can slow-mo through the previews, they go by so fast.
