Well, I've decided that I'm really going to try NOT to read any more spoilers about GA. I said that once before when I got upset about something with Mer/Der.....but this time I really mean it. I'm just going to watch the episodes as they come and whatever happens ...happens. As much as I am a Mer/Der fan, I just hate to hear whats coming up with Der/Rose and the hurt that I know Mer/Der are going to go through again. (not including us the fans) I really didn't think it would go that far, but the more I hear and read, I think its going to happen! I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so. I'd rather just wait and see as it unfolds on tv as(painful as it will be) but I don't want to know anymore before hand. (unless its good news) HA! I saw PD on ET Tonight, tonight and he was talking about several different things and the girl interviewing him asked him somethig about an upcoming love scene in episode 11 and she said can you tell us who is in it? He smiled and said it might be me. (on the screen was Rose and Derek in the scrub room from last weeks episode). So, I can't imagine it being Mer/Der, but who knows. So, I thought, THATS IT! If its Der/Rose, I don't think I could handle that! And that would definately ruin our Mer/Der image we have hung onto all 3 1/2 seasons. And then on the Ausiello report today his caption read: Derek chooses Rose! (I'm like what is this?) He just said that Derek talks with Meredith about building her the house of her dreams and she basically says slow down.(or something like that) and he gets ticked off and asks Rose out for dinner. There was a picture / scene of Derek and Rose (maybe at Roses front door, not sure). So, I was thinking are all of these promos and questions to PD lately intentionly suppose to mislead the fans or what? I guess thats how they keep you vested into the show, the not knowing I guess. We all know that they can't really tell you what is going to happen so they throw out hints that could be interrupted either way. But its really exhausting. You get exited about good things with Mer/Der and then it is shot down. I truly believe Mer/Der WILL end up together, but who knows when! Obviously, it isn't going to happpen as soon as I had hoped! Which is why I'm going to quit reading the spoilers and sit back and see what happens. As far as the writers strike. I truly hope they get things worked out by the first of the year. It would be horrible to know we would have to wait until Sept. of next year. So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best! And one last thing...for somebody that is only suppose to be guest starring for seven episodes, she sure seems to be making a mess of something that took 3 1/2 seasons to build! Kathy, I can understand why you are so upset and frustrated; trust me you are not the only one. You made the right decision on not to read anymore spoilers. Just a point though, Meredith never told or asked Derek that she wanted a dream house, in fact those were Derek’s dreams. I think the guy is just frustrated with Meredith’s growth and progress, however choosing another woman for the second time over her is just taking it too far. I don’t think he really loves her that much anymore, I think he is more in love with the idea of her. I also don’t think he is ready to accept her the way she is. Maybe, he is starting to think, why waste his time when there are other women that are willing to commit to him. In my experience, a guy only starts thinking like that when he is looking for an excuse to live you and moves on. I think no matter what mer does now, it won’t satisfy him, becos he is already starting to have feelings for some other woman. And he will continue to get more conflicted unless until rose is out of his system. For now she is this entire fascinating and intriguing woman that he wants to explore. Also who knows, maybe rose will become a series regular. Remember Addison was a guest star but somehow shonda made her a regulater. In my opinion, for shonda to let Derek take thing that far says a lot of things. I guess even if merder will happen, which is highly unlikely at this stage, it will be at the end of the season or season 5. Simply because, I don’t think Derek will ever be happy with Meredith until she fully commits to him, which is out of the question at this stage. For one thing mer did not become what she was in one day, it took years (almost her entire life), therefore, it will take time for her to really deal with her issues. Like I said b4 only a very patient man will tolerate a woman like Meredith and I don’t think Derek is that guy.Posted 12/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

This is indeed interesting. The show has somewhat stranded. Not much progress in my eyes. But my opinion of this thing with rose and derek, is that it seemed like a thing he just had to do. Get it out of the system or something. But as far as I can see, the der/mer relationship does not seem to be lively anymore. It's just an addiction. When that is said, I think it very strange that they should ruin the mer/der relationship again. It would not be realistic, and with all them love declarations it would be silly. And can we imagine the show where rose and derek are together, and meredith finds another? Then that part of the show would be static, and other characters will have to take their place. Yeah I heard she is too, which I am excited for...but I did feel a lil bit of their chemistry but it just doesn't compare to MERDER...ya know? AND Ellen is way hotter...Posted 12/11/2007 1:00:00 AM #

On the Ausiello Report, he says that Derek chooses Rose, but I think it's just gonna be one date...hopefully and then he'll run back to Meredith!! How many more episodes are we gonna have to see this Rose character...2? We can only hope!!!Posted 12/12/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I'm just afraid that all this MerDer and Der/Rose thing will only cause reaction like this - oh, no, here we go again-... I love MerDer, but come on, people. Just let them be for a while. Without any new man or woman. I'm getting tired of all this drama. It would be nice to see them together. And, it's not JUST about Rose. It's about everything. When Mer went down under, we all thought - OK, she will come to her senses- we understood her ( family issues, Der choosing his wife...) When she said nothing to Der before the "wedding" we thought - OK, she really needs Cristina to "do this", she's her person, Mer will see that there is sometimes that thing called happy end. When they started with the sex thing...OK, they're getting there... Now, I think she is NOT ready, and the question is, will she ever be?! Yeah, sure, maybe she's getting there...But I don't think it's fast enough for Der... Although, I'd like to see them together and happy...if that's not gonna happen...then just let them be happy without each other...and let's bring more fun to this show...Posted 12/12/2007 1:00:00 AM #
