Let's be realistic here. Derek is a human! Even though most of you want him to be the perfect guy, and waiting for Meredith, I can't really blame him for seeing other women. Mer/der are not together, and he can't just be waiting all the time. Mer/der have been through a lot, and declared their love for each other some many times. Therefore I think this relationship suffers beacause shonda knows how much the fans want this relationship. It is the real nerve in the show, and I think, how much more can we, and Mer/der take? If there are more obstacles to come in their relationship, maybe they just are not made for each other. Maybe she has to dump Derek to grow up? Who knows, this is just theories of course, and won't help our characters I think. But something big has to happen soon. I do not want a repeat of season 2,where they just were looking at each other and wanting each other.Posted 12/9/2007 1:00:00 AM #

You are right, it is time for something to finally happen with Mer/Der. Things can not continue on the track they continue to be on. I think it is in the making with this Mer/Der/Rose mess! I understand that Derek cannot keep waiting for Mer but this race between them two is getting bad. I love them together, but its getting some of us fans tired. I saw this interesting article on PD today talking about Mer/Der. A couple of comments made, that he doesn't know whats going to happen with Mer/Der (he's still hoping they will move forward and work on their issues) and he admitted that he was staying with GA as long as there is a GA! That sounded great! Especially after the other articles implied that he may be leaving GA to do movies only and move back to Maine. Lord Beaverbrook, You are right, derek is human, he deserves to be happy and move on with his life. Obviously meredith doesnt seem to be making him happy anymore. So its only realistic for him to date some other women. He seems to be attracted to rose for some weird reason, who knows maybe she has other hidden talents like designing a house and repairing cars LOL!. Dont get me wrong i love merder, but the way their r/ship is being written is no more realistic. Mer can start over by starting therapy/counciling or what have you, concentrating more on her career and also getting to know her sister. She also has her friends, eventually she and christina would find their own mcdreamy again. I agree. That their relationship is no longer written realistic, is the same feeling I've got. The writers know that the fans want them to be together, so they have to postpone their happiness. I must say, that I really think that Mer/Der will happen. This thing with Rose seems a bit awkward, maybe she's dying?:P But seriously, how can he one day "ask" her to marry him, and then forget all about her the next and move on? I would say that it could not happen, not just like that. Perhaps this strike is good for the writers. Some time to reflect and really think through the next step.Posted 12/10/2007 1:00:00 AM #

i must say that i hope that MerDer get together in the end! they have been through a lot! and i also think that maredith grew up a lot in the last episodes and she isn't so dark and twisty anymore. i also think that the thing with Rose is a bit awkward..... there were also spoilers that she is only there for 7 episodes...and she is only a guest star, s she won't stay for long...i hope so =) i think that Meredith isn't so damaged anymore and she wants to be happy with her Mc Dreamy.. i also think, if Derek choose Rose, then she will be damaged again and for longer....Posted 12/10/2007 1:00:00 AM #

i've just seen episode 10 (because i'm from Slovenia & i have to download first).. but waaaau that's amazing! but i still can't watch how derek kissed rose..hate this scene.. i'm obsess with this seria & with MERDER! when they're not together i really feel so sad! they have to be together in the end or i'm really gonna hate this show!! i can't wait to see next episode..but i'm afraid that it'll take a little longer for me :( and sorry for my english, i know that it's very bad, but i'm only 16 years old and i don't use english every day.Posted 12/10/2007 1:00:00 AM #
