What is interesting in this episode is that Izzie is working on Bambi and brings him back to life. George as we all know is referred to as Bambi by Cristina. Izzie saves the deer and brings it back to life. Derek helps save the guy who came back from the dead (like Meredith). So Izzie and Derek will save people.Posted 9/29/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I have to agree Matt. I actually really enjoyed Izzie in this episode because she was really the only resident that ended up finding her style with the interns and I loved her approach. I really think SGH is in need of some more attendings. With Burke and Addi gone there's not much there. Well I'm back home and it's late so I'll catch up with all you tomorrow. So I was watching the previews again and Rose I'm still a little nervous because I still think the sex & mockery exchange between meredith and Derek was after the whole bedroom talk. That being said the Derek/m ark exchange about Der/Mer being just friends may or may not come after the sex & mockery exchange. Oh well, we'll find out Thursday that's for sure. I absolutely love the scene between Alex and Cristina with the bag of money. I feel like were finally get a glimpse into who Alex is and I think we saw Cristina's and Alex's vulnerability in that scene. I absolutely loved it. I felt it was promising though that at least Meredith recognized she is emotionally stunted or limited. I think we definitely started to see signs of growth from both Derek and Meredith and I hope that continues. So I got home and watched it again because I PVR'd it (Tivo) and the episode did go a little longer because mine cut out after Izzie opened the door as well. I think that happened to a lot of people. Hey Trisha. Remember we were trying like crazy to figure out all those previews of the first episode, and what order the scenes happened in. You and Angie are right, it just doesn't work to figure them out. The previews are a tease, tantalizing us while we wait...how would we cope without being able to dissect and analyze every word, look and movement here on these forums! I think its a very good sign as well, that Meredith recognizes her emotional limitations. I could see MerDer at this point, moving towards doing really good things together--like talking and just hanging out, getting to deeply know & understand each other. I really hope they don't place all the emphasis on sex for the sake of ratings. As far as Alex, I cannot wait until Ava shows up soon, I hope they keep her on for him for a good long time. Its time Alex finds love and has a real relationship! I was touched by the trembling in George's voice when he told Izzie he loves her...I just wish they could lighten things up with those two though. They are too angsty all the time now. They used to be alot of fun to watch. I liked what I saw last week, but there is a major imbalance with Burke gone. Addison was more disposable, but Burke was too solid and commanding a presence. Without him, there is a black hole kind of feeling--something important is missing and I don't think they will find a way to replace it. But as you said, there definitely needs to be more attendings. I agree Rose. I think there's lots of positives to take away from this episode for all the characters. I can't wait until Rebecca shows up as well. I'd love to see Alex in a relationship and see his softer side. Definitely I do mss Burke, whether anyone was a fan of Burke or not. He was a strong presence at SGH and any new attendings will have to be strong as well if its going to work. But regardless a couple more attendings are needed. I remember reading something over the summer about there possibly being a new attending to compete with Derek? Anybody recall seeing this?Posted 9/30/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I hate it!!! I despise o'mizzie! I am a firm believer in their friendship but pple get confused s'times and i believe thats what happened to izzie, but george jus crashing and saying that he loves her too was the biggest disappointment eva. And totally unbelievable. The chrtr george now has no credibility or no cajones. One minute he's in love with callie, nex he's sleeping with izzie, next he wants to get back with his wife...too much melrose place for me...i miss the old greys...btw the show may be named Greys anatomy but how many issues can mer have? Seriously???? I would want to say thats he shud get over it, but she doesnt have anything to get over...she has mcdreamy...and now shes pushing him away?? c'mon shonda...no one has THAT many probs...and if they did they wudnt be so functionalPosted 10/1/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hello everyone! I'm sure you all noticed how Lexie made sure everyone knew it was George's "first day" as an intern when telling them about him delivering the baby...
