Hey, I am new to this forum but wanted to put my two "cents" out there. Last season was uber depressing, I was not a fan and was happy when it was over. That said, I completely understood where it was coming from. Meredith had the year (few months, weeks, whatever) from hell, Christina was turning into Burke's Christina, Izzie lost Denny and then turned to the only person she felt she could, George's dad died and then he married the wrong person, Bailey was passed up for Chief, Alex realized he has real emotions, Derek realized Meredith is seriously damaged, Mark...well, I'm still not sure where he fits in, and finally, The Chief realized he wasn't finished with Seattle Grace. They all had crazy life changing shit happen and it made them all a dark and broody. Not saying I liked, just saying I understand. But if MER/DER doesn't get their act together I am going to SCREAM!!!Posted 9/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Hey Betsy and Pink! Was wondering why I didn't see you both last night.....anyhow happy you've both checked in! ;) Yes I totally didn't get the S&M comment either!? I'm sure we'll get clued in to the meaning next week. The sex part is obvious, but the mockery....hmmmm....maybe she just means having laughs together, not necessarily about each other. Oh yeah, I did like last night's episode. It was fun and funny and I like where the writers are taking Christina and Alex's characters. But I want Meredith and Derek to BE together.Posted 9/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

Lol Angie, I was watching the show three times! I am stumped on that S&M comment, mockery doesn't make any sense at all. I'm waiting anxiously to find out the meaning of that. Do you have any explanation of Chief's marriage, I am really puzzled there...Posted 9/28/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I'm with you on the S and M thing. I just hope Derek doesn't see that as a "friends with benefits" type relationship as I don't think that's what he wants. He wants all of Meredith and at least now he's going to fight for it but wait for it at the same time. In the meantime, even I can live with break-up sex. It's better than no sex at all and after season 3 I'll take what I can get. Lexie was a breath of fresh air, but she's still a distraction for Meredith and I just hope it doesn't keep her from working on her issues and her road back to Derek. Can't wait to watch the episode again when I get home from this conference. BTW: someone told me the ratings for last night weren't stellar and that Greys was beat by CSI. Hey Luvthisshow!!! I know I was soo going to get on last night but I knew this site would be booming so I thought I would just wait til today to see what everyones thoughts were. So instead I watched the epi 2 more times..lol..I hope the S&M means she wants fun without the drama...Friends with benefits only works for about a week so this should be interesting. Damnit...I can't believe I like Lexie. I do agree she is breath of fresh air..She even acts like Mer a lil bit. I teared up for Cristina. She loved Burke and he leaves without telling her or even waiting for to get back from the honeymoon to tell her. I think it's her time to be dark and twisty and it's too early for to get involved with anyone. As you can all probably tell I'm paying a lot of attention to my conference LOL.
