the whole bringing everything up 17 days after the fact though wouldn't happen, except on tv. i wish they wouldnt have had bailey be all pissed off, cause it WAS apparently over 2 weeks between seasons, and there is no way that those 2 weeks went by without her talking to chiif about it. but it is tv, so i guess they had to. i hope matt gets on before i leave in the morning though so i can read what he has to say about this!Posted 9/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #

I honestly didn't find it all that weird without those two. There was enough going on that their absence was okay. I did like the dynamic Burke lent to the show, but they'll come up with something to fill the void. Addison was a great character too, but she had really run out of reasons for being there. Ok, it is back and first of all, the first thing that I want to say, the most important thing; Grey's Anatomy is back and it was brilliant! A grand episode that made me glad to be a Grey's fan. It was good as ever. The new residents are funny. I love they way they all have their different styles and in the end are all really good at their jobs. Derek understands Meredith. He knows what she needs and how she is feeling; now Meredith has to figure it out. I think that he will be their to support her and help her grow. I think that they will take things slow and he will allow her the time that she needs to become a more whole and healthy person. I love that the changes for them is that Meredith is starting to understand her own problems and what is too much for her and Derek is really committed to her and is there to help her grow. I think that at the end of the episode where they say they are broken up, Derek and Meredith both know that she does not want to break up, but that she is scared and Derek is going to give her the space she needs to become ready. I really loved Mark! His talking about coming back for Derek was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time! Great to see that they are going to be friends. Bailey is awesome as usual. It was great to see that she is going to accept what Richard said. I am really glad that Richard it looking out for her. He wants her to be better than he is. He wants her to keep her family. "Spiritually Bailey is over everyone's head." Cannot wait to see Alex and Cristina grow! They are really ready for some great growth! Now George and Izzie. I am really glad that they are going to play this out. I have always liked them together and i love that they are going to go with this! I cannot wait to see what happens. It will be really interesting to see what happens when the news comes out into the open and everyone knows. George was a rockstar with the baby and it was good to see that he is going to have something going for him this season, at least at work. I think that the George and Izzie thing should play out soon; what I mean is that they should get together and allow it to become more normal so that George is able to focus on the job more that the personal this year. I saved the best for last; Lexie! She was a breath of fresh air. She was written so well. You guys really know how to make a character really fit and really good. I mean last year she was just McBarhussy and now she is, as George would say, "Kind of Awesome". It was good to see who Meredith can become, more focused, more whole and able to deal with things. I think that this is the difference between PP and GA. The characters on GA just seem better written, even the new ones. Mark and Addy really became part of the show right away and now Lexie has done the same. So excited to see how she and Meredith help each other grow this season! wow. that was so amazing. i had to work late so i just finished watching it. I loved the break up sex! and im so happy george told iz he loved her! everyones performance was amazing, but, as usual my favorite performance was cristina, she made me feel what she was feeling just by the look on her face. im so going to love this season, and look forward to more breakup sex b/t merder!!!Posted 9/27/2007 1:00:00 AM #
