    I have to say though, Meredith picked right by going to Derek and not Lexie....maybe Meredith is growing. Because self-destructive Meredith would have gone with Lexie to aoid Derek....I think

    I don't think that she should keep putting Lexi in awkward situations... it was their fathers fault they were kept seperate

    But Lexie had the healthy upbringing, so she has the emotional tools to deal with an unknown situation like a half sister. Meredith, on the other hand, had non-existent parents for all intents and purposes, therefore, she is not equipped emotionally to handle her half-sister just yet. She will, it will just take a while. Plus, she's trying to deal with her feelings and Derek right now, which is WAY more important.

    Well if Meredith thinks Derek will accept a "friends with benefits" type of relationship she's kidding herself.
