    to me, there's no evidence of that little girl being izzies besides her long blonde hair...which, means half of the worlds female chid pop. coul be izzies kid. The writers are good at foreshadowing, and there is no hint that the girl is Izzies

    I'm rather new to the forums myself, but this episode was just too much of a cliffhanger not to discuss with other grey's fanatics like me! I really think Ellis will be who dies...I think almost all of the main characters have 6 year contracts and have no reason to break them, with the incredible sucess of the show. I really don't see Denny coming back to Mer in some sort of dream...It doesn't make much sense...and I'm thinking maybe that whole spoiler is a little false because I can't fathom a non-ridiulous manner that they'd actually bring denny back to life. I don't think Mer will actually be the biggest story...I think the biggest one will be something we don't expect...the GA writers are anything but predictible. just my thoughts though...And, Mer being pregnant would be going back to a story line...shes already had a pregnancy scare, and it would be a little boring to go back to that. My vote, if thats a true spoiler is Addison. Any thoughts?

    that makes sense, but shonda and her producers are making serious bank off the show as it is...I don't see them messing with that recipe...well, at least i wouldn't...it's a great show, but it's definitely still a business...however, letting everyone think a main character will die would definitely boost the ratings...

    hmmm... ellis? I know I keep saying it but it just makes the most sense..and, if mer does end up unable to make her own decisions (coma, whatever) who will be her next of kin? or if mer is out and something happens to ellis who will make decisions for ellis? for dramatic situaion..

    but last episode we established how much ellis weighs on meredith..not that mer doesnt love her mother and want the best for her, but as far as life-wise, maybe Mer would get some peace knowing her mother finally had some. I don't want Ellis to die, but at this point in Mer's life something has to give.

    oh i completely agree. but i think its the same mentality as having a family member with any kind of terminal disease...you know if they die youll miss them so much, but you know theyll have more peace if they...you know...go on. what kind of life does ellis really have now? ha im so sorry for being so serious...i think too much sometimes

    i wonder if they'd actually make a story arc about ellis getting better for good, more or less. its a little sci fi, at least at this point.
