   So... seriously? Did Derrick really walk away. She needs him, like really needs him. But you are right, she made her own family, support system when he walked away. Yes she was drinking but not in a bar, she wasn't doing to get drunk and have sex with inappropriate men. So yes dark and twisty, but I don't blame her, she lost her fake mommy. I am glad to see that She did talk to him but sad that he walked away. ( Iknow a lot of this MUST have been said but I just got the chance to logon) I think the new show and GA didn't mesh well. I have a newbie that since Easter has watched all episodes up to last night, and she agreed they didn't mesh well. It might be funny but not all wrapped up in Grey's. I hope Derrick doesn't do what I thought it looked like he was going to do. Be with someone else. I don't know how much more damage Mer can take.. Next week will be interesting...

   Oh and I have to agree I loved Izzie and George in the elevator... and it was funny after hearing Addison describe the elevator to whats his name Tim Dayle's character. And they were soooooooo close to getting busted!! I don't want George to go to Mercy West!

   I don't think George and Izzie are right. Chemistry wise yes but I feel REALLY bad for Callie. She reminds me of myself. And I feel for her. It isn't okay to cheat, no matter what. And I don't want Der to hurt Mer again. I don't think she can take it, she came back from the 'light' for him. I think they will make, but Shonda just likes making us squirm...

   good idea trisha! Counseling would be good. I would have pushed someone away too, fake mommy died and she got slapped. And you are right you don't think clearly... She does need to give a little but so does he. He finally told her how he felt, and she was trying. Then Susan died and thatcher smacked her. But give her time, and you don't just let someone run away, go after her. She needs comfort, teach her a different way..

   I have to agree I don't see him cheating. Addy cheating on him damaged him. But hopefully he tells the girl to buzz off or better Mer sees her and steps in. Burke does need to lead Cristina. And I really hope they are happy.

   I didn't even notice that the shots of her were at the house. I think I was too shocked by seeing him leave the house at the end to notice. That makes me feel better...

   I have to agree trisha and mcdreamy02 we hurt the ones we love. we don't want to do it, but it happens. You let down the walls, let people in and when you do, it takes trust that if and when you do hurt them, they don't just walk away. I don't think Mer wanted to hurt Derrick. she even said to Denny that she wanted to go back for him and Cristina. but she's new at the relationship thing, but you are right he never promised he wouldn't hurt her again.. but I have high hopes for both of them, to communicate, talk. Be there and not run away

9. Desire

   Hi everyone I am kinda new. Well not really but I finally just found my password again. I was hurting for Mer at the end of the episode. She knows she didn't swim, that she gave up for a minute, and I think it hit hard for her to realize, that Derrick knew she didn't swim. I have to agree it needed to be said, that maybe it will help them heal. AND I can't believe in the preview that thatcher SMACKS Mer! I agree jujube I had to rewind just to make sure I saw that correctly! (just love my DVR) And I just loved BANG in the episode, truly Burke got to me..

    Isn't this the week that is two hours?? That is exciting in itself! But Susan being in jepordy could cause Thatcher to go into a rage and hit Mer. I hope it all goes well for MerDer, they both deserve to be happy, and stable, and lots of other things that I can't think of because I have been at work for twelve hours. I feel for Callie no one deserves to be cheated on, but its George and Izzie and wow never saw that one coming... Should be good! can't wait till next thursday
