Gloria--BREATHE! these are young kids posting on the episode thread. I laughed when I read that post-- probably a 12 year old!
OK, I read the so-called spoiler which was posted on the GA message board by an anonymous person. Who I also read, often writes these kinds of spoilers based on his/her own speculations. This is NOT Ausiello-level spoiler! Now some of the "spoiler" I agree with because its exactly what I've predicted myself. I see Meredith as proposing to Derek, out there at Derek's property where he's going to build the house. I also predict it will not happen till the final few minutes--I don't expect an excess of happy MerDer time tonight. Gloria, Derek told Rose he did not want complicated WITH HER. He only ever wanted it with MEREDITH. I don't believe Rose is going to be pregnant, I'm sure she will leave the show one way or another after tonight.
You could also see from the past few epsiodes that Ava is being sent the way of the funny farm. Sad, but they made such a mess of that poor girl's storyline I will just be relieved to see an end to it. Looks like they are going to pair Izzie & Alex up, probably to give some closure to the whole Gizzie thing. Don't hate me but I always loved Alex & Izzie together.
I don't expect to see a tidy ending to anything EXCEPT the MerDer reunion folks! I think Callie will be left hanging in some kind of mess, and who knows what with Chief & Adele. That "spoiler" predicted Baily would be found pregnant and with Chief's baby? how funny is that--hilarious!!!
Ok Gloria and Hafsa, just try to relax and enjoy the show! Having your tea or Irish and her whiskey is a big improvement from the last finale, when we were all on prozac, lol! luv ya--rose

Good morning girls! Irish, I well remember you feeling that way after last season's finale. Gloria, the only reason I am not as worried as you are, is because I've strongly believed, ever since the return of season 4, that Shonda's wonderful turn-around was forced on her by money, ratings, & the higher-ups. I just don't believe she feels free to jeopardize the show's popularity anymore as she has in the past. Shonda was getting out of control with her belief in her power to inflict anything she chose on fans of Grey's. Her love of sadistic misery was never shown more blatantly than season 3's "burn it to the ground" finale. I have never been more disgusted and disappointed with tv as I was after that finale. I don't think we are going to see that tonight.
I have to say, as thrilled as I am to know MerDer is getting back together tonight, I really am unhappy with the strongly increasing emphasis on casual sex and hookups that seems to have become Grey's m.o. Its really a shame they feel they have to do that to attract ratings.

Hi girls! Irish, glad you're back! your post was too funny! Maybe there's only a few of us here now because we are a very strange thread...we are a Burktina thread that now mostly discusses MerDer! but we of course still hold on to the memory of one of the greatest tv relationships, and are all together in wanting to see Cristina get some good storylines.
I finally got to see Made of Honor today! It was great and PD was very McDreamy! my only complaint is that I had seen the previews so many times on tv, that it took away the laughs from all the funniest parts. Great PD kissing, woohoo!

I don't understand why anyone is worried, I thought this week was great! Did you all see when Andre said something about Greta being "the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I can't forget that fairytale" (or something like that) and the camera went to Derek, who looked straight at Meredith! I for one am tired of the plot devices, shock & melodrama and am very pleased they are guiding MerDer into a real adult relationship. From what I remember, both EP and PD insisted that Shonda keep them real this time.
As far as their reunion, the ball is in Meredith's court. Derek has done everything he knows how to do to keep them together. He cannot make a move, because he thinks she has rejected him and his love. It has to come from Meredith and I think that is what we are going to see. I can't wait.

I love Mer's therapist, she reminds me of Ellis, only the anti-Ellis. Yeah its still fun to chat Grey's here--BF is still around but she's on vacation at the moment. keep in touch--rose

Gloria--so glad you're ok! I got your email--don't I know those computer problems. I go to the library & use theirs when mine goes out!
You are right on, that Shonda just doesn't get Cristina. It is painful to watch her now but at least her pain is being addressed.
Ava is the one storyline left that has seriously gone haywire and they are better off to end it as mercifully as possible. I think they are heading for an Alex/Izzie reunion and are mirroring Alex/Ava with Izzie/Denny.
Looking forward to the finale with excitment!!!!!

Hey Angie! great to hear from you--I wondered if you were coming back! yeah isn't it great to feel that ol Grey's magic again. I know everyone is unhappy about the 4 months till season 5, but I am just glad that season 5 will be something to look forward to again.
I am not all that concerned about Derek leaving with Rose last night. I think Matt is right on about both Derek & Meredith having intense growing pains and it's pointing them towards each other. I do agree that I hope their reunion doesn't happen in the last 5 minutes, but if it does, I'm sure it will be memorable enough to carry us through the summer.
