Hello ladies! Great to read all your posts! BF will be back after this weekend too. I am very happy to hear the good news about the podcast. I was not worried at all though. I have no worries about Shonda because she is too concerned about ratings now.

Matt, I am happy for you to feel ok about placing your trust in a tv exec like you do. More power to you. Not everyone is as sure that your opinions are as right as you are though.
Ha ha Sandra, thats a good one! I miss Ausfan's & psych's posts too. there aren't many that post on the forums at all anymore! On the episode thread, you're right they are mostly new faces and I think the majority of them are teenagers.
It would be great if we can touch base over the summer.

Angie--I was wondering the same thing about why they didn't page or call each other on their cells--obviously it wouldn't have had the romantic impact! I have always loved Alex & Izzie together too and will be happy to see them as a real couple if it goes that way. JC was just incredible with Alex's scenes last night.
I think we all knew we would get this kind of MerDer reunion by series' end, but getting it this season was a stroke of luck thanks to the writers' strike. I am really disappointed with Shonda's writers' blog (part one). I wish she could just be honest with her fans--saying she planned out this finale right down to the candles in the field, immediately following the season 3 finale, is such a crock. As we all read in the well-known interview posted here on Insider, Shonda was quoted as saying she did not originally plan to get MerDer together this season, but after watching all three seasons during the writers' strike she "realized" they needed to be together. Well, as Ellen Pompeo said in her recent interview, "this is Hollywood and people don't admit to making mistakes in Hollywood."

It feels like all is right with the world after that MerDer reunion last night, doesn't it! But I cannot believe Shonda's writers blog. I just wish she could be honest instead of so full of crap. Very very pleased and satisfied with the season's end. I really felt we fans were being handed happy endings on a silver platter tonight. I never expected so much to be resolved with almost all the characters. I clearly see this finale as an unspoken apology for last season's finale and am more than willing to accept it.
The personal & professional drama of the characters that we have come to know and love, was outstanding tonight. Especially Cristina who ROCKED the OR, and Alex.
I don't know how there can be the slightest question of which kiss was THE ONE? seriously?
I feel very bad about the explicit scene/ sexual dialogue with Mark and Callie, with as many young people who watch this show, Many of them very young.
I'm sure they threw in that look of Mer's as Derek left just to leave something for the fans to speculate over for the summer. It would be redundant for Rose to be pregnant. No worries about Meredith & Derek. Their reunion will carry me through however many months until season 5....

YES YES YES!!! Cristina is a ROCK STAR! Derek is HUMAN! This finale is AWESOME!
