  1. Crash Into Me, Part 2

With the apparent demise of Bailey's marriage, it appears that surgeons (at the least the ones that work at Seattle Grace) are completely incapable of sustaining relationships. I understand the need to introduce intrigue, etc. into the story lines but would it be so horrible for the writers to show viewers at least one, functional relationship? Having said that, I was glad to see Meredith's growth but fear it might be too little too late. I hope George and Izzie break up soon because, let's face it, it's a little weird. Even more weird that in real life, TR Knight is going to be in Katherine Heigel's wedding party and on the show they best friends having horrible sex. I liked Lexie in this episode and am glad that Cristina reached out to her.

  2. Kung Fu Fighting

I hate the George and Izzie storyline. When she told him they were going to have hot sex, I felt so icky. They've basically had a brother and sister best friend relationship and now they want to have hot sex? Seriously. Gross, gross, gross. I was happy to see Meredith's growth. Although it is difficult to go from recognizing your issues to actually solving them, acknowledging them in the first place is pretty difficult. I hope that the new love interest for Derek will help her to further realize how important he is to her life and how she really needs to deal with her issues to get him for good.

  3. Love/Addiction

Not one of my favorite episodes but I really liked the scene where Meredith finally tells Lexie why she does not want to be friends with her half-sister. I don't think it ever occurred to Lexie that the father she grew up with is not the same man who Meredith didn't grow up with. I was glad to hear Meredith admit that Derek does love her and he is perfect and she is so emotionally scarred that she's finding it really difficult to let him love her. Hopefully at some point she will realize that she can't let him wait forever, sometimes love, even an addictive love, just isn't enough.

  4. Didn't We Almost Have it All

I have not actually liked the last few episodes but this was a pretty darn good season finale. First, I loved Derek when he told Meredith that he loved her and that she was the love of his life. Hated it when she just stood there and once again, left him. Also hated it when she stood in front of the church and told everyone it was over, meaning not only the wedding but her and Derek. Stupid girl! He's your McDreamy and you're throwing it all away! I hate the George, Izzie, Callie love triangle, I think Izzie has been incredibly selfish. Isn't it possible in this world of Seattle Grace that men and women can actually be friends without crossing the line into sex and then romantic love? I was really glad that McBargirl turned out to be Lexie Grey, there's no way that Derek would ever go from Meredith to sleeping with her half-sister, I can't believe that he's capable of it. Although that last scene with Meredith cutting a hysterical Cristina out of her wedding dress was heartbreaking, I'm glad that she didn't get married. She definitely was losing herself and Burke was forcing her to do it.

  5. Some Kind of Miracle

I'm glad that Meredith's alive but it was pretty typical TV "back from the death" scene. I did like that she made peace with her mother. I have an issue with Izzie and how she feels she's so justified in criticizing George for marrying Callie when she herself got engaged to a guy she knew for what, a month, and whom she never saw outside of a hospital room. Someone should call her out on it. Anyway, still love McDreamy, I wished they had actually said "I love you" to each other, cause they've never actually said it to each other when they've been together.

  6. Wishin' and Hopin'

I agree with those who have commented on the timing, a brand new clinic opening in 8 days? Aren't Izzie and Bailey both surgeons? Where would they have found any time to oversee the building of a clinic in 8 days? But, hey , it is a TV show afterall where almost everyone on the staff is sleeping with or has slept with someone else on the staff, so we must all suspend disbelief. I found it heartbreaking when Ellis was admonishing Meredith for not having any direction and for not being the extraordinary person that she had raised her to be. Meredith was so happy to tell her mom that she, for the first time, was really happy with Derek. This is the first time I really realized how mean and rude Izzie's attitude towards Callie is. And Callie O'Malley? Hilarious! I hope that she hyphenates though, she still needs to keep that Latina flair. I found myself laughing a lot during this episode, my favorite was when Addison was walking away from her clinic bed and had to drag her oxygen tank with her. Not exactly the way to appear super sexy to the intern that you're pining after. Overall, a good episode, but definitely not my favorite of the season.

  7. Wishin' and Hopin'

Callie's full name is Calliope Iphegenia Torres. I like Calliope but that middle name is awful.

  8. Great Expectations

I agree with the shock of the two proposals. I expected George's but not Burke's at all. But no one has mentioned my absolutle favorite scene of the episode with the four attendings all sitting on the floor outside of the Chief's office. I thought it was hiliarous that the country's foremost neurosurgeon, heartsurgeon, plastic surgeon and neonatal surgeon are all sitting on the floor whining that they should be chief. And I LOVED it when Preston says, he, Derek and Addison all could be chief but definitely not Mark. They were acting like the interns and attendings that they order around all day. Also loved it when George came into the locker room looking for Callie and was gyrating his hips a bit like the sex addict he had temporarily become. I think the writers will try to throw us off and have Cristina say yes and Callie say no, but I really don't think any couple on Grey's is truly ready to be married. Need more Mer/Der! Hopefully with Ellis' storyline next week, there will be.
