Favorite Character
My favourite character has always been Cristina. Thanks to SO's acting, credibility is given to the complexities of the character. It's always believeable and evocative. And never boring.

I'm hoping there's been an accident at SG and Callie was injured along with some other docs?
But they all end up okay, like with Burke and the whole arm drama.
This can't be Shonda writing Callie out. That would just be depressing. And trying to distract us with new additions to the cast is not going to work! I'm utterly perplexed with the direction this show has taken.
First irrational firing of good cast members, then irrational inclusions of pointless characters, then irrational sex with a dead guy, now this???

My thoughts on Denny being there for Izzy
I don't care whether Izzie is dying or not. What gets me is how any self-respecting writer can go the way Grey's went with this episode!
Making love to a ghost? I mean seriously... how stupid do they think their viewers are?
Do they think we're so desperate to see Denny that we'll enjoy a storyline like this?
If Izzie needs to die for us to finally be rid of the ghost storyline then I'm all for it.
I'll take anything just to have an episode without ghosts that can be touched and kissed. I'm so over it...

Cristina and Owen!!!
I agree with Salix. In season 1 we met a Cristina that hid behind a wall all the time. Burke was the one to break down that wall and she made herself vulnerable.
I think the walking away thing was mostly due to the fact that Cristina recognizes that detachment in Owen. And she knows how scary it is for someone like that to put themselves out there. So she walked away - in a way, telling him it's okay.
I don't believe there was anything bad behind it. She's into him. And she knows he is into her, but has difficulty connecting - that's what the episode was about. So this whole Owen/Cristina thing is going to move along very slowly is what I think.
It's going to be a process for the both of them. Hunt learning to let go a bit and take risks emotionally, and Cristina learning to trust in love again.

Why do you hate Owen?
I think he's cool. A man's man... And not afraid of Cristina which is refreshing. She gets a bit of her own medicine from him.

i'm also pretty excited about the developments between owen and cristina. finally there is a character who can challenge the unshakeable dr. yang...
very interested to see how the whole thing plays out. i just keep picturing kevin mckidd as the well-oiled topless roman soldier he played in rome hahahaha. nice move from grey's to get him on the show.
