    Very nice, McDreamy02! (Actually I like that one better than the one that's been taken for this site! ;-) Congrats BTW!) Yeah, I think, Patrick Dempsey not only deserves to be nominated but also deserves to win! This season he really had the opportunity to show his acting skills - especially during these episodes when Mer died! He really was amazing! About the recent episode: I'm glad that Derek finally told Meredith what troubles him! Many around here entitled him as an ass for the way he did - well, I don't. I was more surprised by Mer who just left at that point. But she's still got a lot to learn about "communication" as she proved in this episode. It's not about annoying someone with informing about where she is and what she does. But as she's never had a proper relationship before (neither whith a man nor with her mother etc.) she'll catch up on this communication problem as well - with Derek's help.

  4. McSteamy = McDreamprince = McSexy???

    You know, I'm really getting confused! The German translation of "Grey's" is just getting strange! OK, I guess they couldn't let Mark be "McSteamy" 'cause noone would have know what that means (hey, I had to consult three dictionaries till I found out that "steamy" doesn't just mean "steamy" ;-) ). But then when the girls discussed what name Mark should get they called him "McTraumprinz" (McDreamprince) - yikes! Doesn't even come close. But now (episode "What I Am") he's suddenly called "McSexy"! Strange, isn't it? Gosh, I'm just so glad that I can watch the original episodes!

    Pschyrembel, I so agree with you! The original voices are so much better than the German ones! Well, apart from Meredith's - I still think that Ellen's voice is quite throaty. And the German voice actor of Derek lacks a bit of talent to transport all the emotions... I always prefer to watch movies in German the first time I see them (just to make sure that I understand everything) and then when I've got the DVD I watch the original version. It's much better with the dialogues (sometimes it's unbelievable how badly translated some dialogues are!) and you learn a lot. 50$ for the second season DVDs in the US? OK, we're here quite about the same price if you add the two box sets (if you're lucky you can get it even a bit cheaper). But I think we don't have all the additional stuff that you had - for example the interview with the cast at the Paley festival, right? Those additional scenes in the second season - did they include them directly into the episodes? We only had them seperately on the bonus DVD...

    Yeah, yeah, I got the point, schmalentines . But I guess I'm just hoping so much mer/der to be ok that I don't want them to be the cliffhanger for the next season... ;-) Ah, wait, I can think of one: Derek is just so overwhelmed by this wedding that he propses to Meredith (which she's about to reject of course in the first episode/season 4, because she's not ready yet - but they'll be happy together anyway... ;-)) I neither like Christna nor Burke - they're both so arrogant and selfish! Well, perhaps that makes them perfect for each other, but I doubt it...

    Well, how could she actually be the next chief? She's leaving... It's a shame that Bailey isn't (yet) in the position to be the next chief, she would be an excellent one!

    *lol* Sorry, but I always have to laugh when I hear about the fuzz that's being made about his hair! :D I hope you can stand waiting till November - Enchanted won't be released sooner than that!
