Hi everybody!!!! OMG I'm just so happy it's backkkkkkkkkk!!!! The 2-week wait stinks though - I was like not already?!?
Ok how much do we all love McSexy Major Hunt??? Whew he was something else!! Cristina's in for some fun after the angst and anguish she went through all last season.
Ughhhh Alex was so disappointing, he's not gonna make it easy. Poor Izzie--he did the very thing he knew would totally cut her down. He's still my fave character though - what does that say about me??? LOL
Loved Sloan last night!! Lots of sparks with him and Lexie - I think I'm liking it.
I NEED SOME DER/MER LOVIN THOUGH PEOPLE!!!! Jeesh not even a hug or kiss -- throw us a bone Shonda!!!
I like how they didn't make the Callie/Erica thing a big deal. It will be interesting watching that whole relationship go on from there. I think they'll just be really great friends - and we know sex between friends never works on that show!!!
Next week looks intense - do we think that was like some sort of roof collapse caused by a storm maybe? Whatever it is, it's gonna be a major problem.
So..... Betsy, Trisha and Matt -- really great to see you guys again!!

good morning all
still recovering from all the emotions of last night here! was that something or what?!?not going to try to recap, since matt does such a good job of it - lol. i have to say kudos to you my friend for calling all of this like 2 years ago. i still secretly think you are one of the writers on the show!
there are so many things that made me scream YES!!! last night......the der/mer stuff goes without saying, but the second thing that made me happiest was getting rid of rebecca and having izzie be there for alex!!!! i have been wanting that to happen since denny was around. i just love alex and izzie together - i hope it turns out to be for the long haul. it was truly heartwrenching watching alex break down - i love his character and i'm so glad we're delving into his background finally.
george and lexie were great as well. they're both so good w/the comedy - they cracked me up more than a few times last night. she's definitely falling for him if her reaction to that kiss means anything.
cristina with the sparkle pager - how freakin funny was that? she's getting back to herself which is wonderful. i think her depression paid tribute to the relationship that was burktina, but i'm glad she's back.
still not sure what to think about callie/hahn. i thought for sure hahn was going to turn out to not be gay since it was leaning so far in that direction from the beginning. not my favorite storyline, but they can't all be der/mer lol.
the chief and bailey were awesome as usual. bailey with that kid in the cement - she's just amazing! loved the chief telling adele like it is too! i guess that's what she's been wanting all along - him to take a stand and prove he cares.
der/mer.......loved that ending with the candles - but seriously, don't they have cell phones or couldn't they have paged eachother instead of running all over town missing eachother!!!! i knew we'd only get the requisite 3 minutes of der/mer time at the end, but i don't care - they're back and it feels good dammit!!!!!!

Losing My Mind
put me on the list of ppl who hope we get more than 3 minutes of der/mer next week. i've had quite enough of rose at this point - but can totally get that derek "just wants it to be easy". i agree with whoever said that they wished derek had seen or somehow found out that meredith is in therapy previous to the beginning of the final episode. they really haven't laid much groundwork as far as a reconciliation as of yet, which says to me that there won't be a whole lot of der/mer doing the horizontal in the finale which is a bummer. i guess we'll just have to settle for whatever we get, as usual.
as far as the rest of the characters, i find them all to be very interesting at this point, even izzie is not getting on my nerves anymore lol but she needs more of a storyline. maybe the rumors are correct that she isn't long for the show.
i really hope rebecca is gone for good next week. i haven't liked her from the start but tolerated her and kept hoping for more. however, by this point i couldn't care less if she keeled over or fell off the face of the earth. alex needs so much more in a partner -- she's a total trainwreck -- and not doing him any good whatsoever.
mark sloan is a breath of fresh air and i find myself smiling whenever he enters a scene! really loving his and PD's scenes together!
cristina was too weird for words - i think she's totally off her rocker at this point. last epi too was hysterical - with the whole "like a virgin" thing in the morgue. i love how her and lexie interact. speaking of lexie, she has been everything we hoped she'd be for the show in general and for meredith in particular.
george is back!! yaaaaaaaaay!!!
remember how everyone thought erica hahn was a lesbian? it's looking more and more like perhaps she's not, but someone else could be. so funny!
chief was amusing as usual - having george giving him the clue he so desperately needs is priceless. did anyone else notice that the sick doctor kept calling george o'leary instead of o'malley????
bailey is great as always and love her new "do"!
i think that's it.....lol....enough for now anyway!

hey everyone! long time no see
a big shout-out to my old friends Betsy, Trisha and Matt!!!!i guess i'm back now because this is actually the first time in a longggggggggg while that i've been excited about grey's and looking forward to the next episode; too bad it's the last one of the season! lol i've read all the posts on this epi and agree with most of what you've all said so not gonna rehash it all. maybe i'll just throw out a few things that come to mind for one reason or another. let me ponder and get back with ya lol

i for one hope that alex and lexie become closer....they make a cute couple - more realistic than his fling with Rebecca/Ava. i really like where i think mer and lexie's relationship appears to be heading. mer/der - who knows - it's anyone's guess at this point. i'm sure hoping for commitment there. we'll just have to hang in a lot longer for the big finish i think.Posted 11/13/2007 1:00:00 AM # -

i think dr. hahn is just testing cristina's cardio chops so to speak. she wants her to want to fight for her right to be in that o/r. if she does, dr. hahn will know that she is 100% dedicated to the cardio specialty. this epi had a lot to offer as far as the patients and the lexie/mer dynamic. even alex had a lot of screen time which i love ;). the der/richard and der/mark scenes were funny as well. i think the izzie/george stuff fell flat though. they're (meaning shonda and the writers) just trying to bow out of that relationship gracefully i think. that'll be history before long.Posted 11/8/2007 1:00:00 AM # -
