81. Crash Into Me, Part I

    The Ausiello comments have me alittle puzzled even though its just confirming what we kinda already knew. I guess it sounds as if it will be drug out alittle longer than I had hoped. I said I was going to quit reading the spoilers but it just draws me in when I see something and I can't help myself. I think that maybe something positive about Mer/Der will be written and I read what they have to say. Not sure about how we will be left hanging in episode 11. Will Derek ask Rose out on a date when Meredith doesn't show any signs of moving any closer to his plans and thats how it will end or will there be any sign before episode 11 ends to make us think that Mer/Der will get it together? I have a bad feeling about the way we will be left at the end of the 11th episode. I really hope the strike is resolved so we can get our happy ending and I still BELIEVE WE WILL! This is the part that drives me crazy...the waiting....(ha)

    I am not worried about Mer/Der either. I think they will be ok. I saw Patrick on GMA this morning and he was so cute talking about his new movie, the strike and GA. He was so cute when they asked him about Mer/Der. He was asked if Mer/Der were going to finally get together and he laughed and said there was a new character that was introduced in the last episode. He was then asked again ....tell me are they going to get together or not and he laughed and said you know I can't tell you that! But he did say "they do move forward with their relationship" thank God......I know by that comment it could go either way but I tend to believe it was a positive response. He was smiling and I know he would be happy for Mer/Der to get together!

    I feel better because Patrick did sound hopeful in his comments from the article! I feel better since we know a meeting will take place next Monday about the strike and hopefully it will be over soon! I feel better that "Rose" will only have 7 episodes. Hopefully that includes this past week. So I don't think Derek will have too much time to get too involved with her! On E! week-end news on Sunday night, it showed Kristen with November Sweeps on tv shows. She said that Lauren S. would be giving Ellen Pompeo a run for her money! So let her bring it on..I say. Our Ellen (Mer) can fight for her MAN! (ha) Again I hope this storyline is SHORT LIVED!

    I read this great article this morning where Patrick was interviewed about his Enchanted movie . He also talks alittle about Mer/Der and naturally Patrick wants Mer/Der to move forward with their relationship and work out their issues! I always like to hear Patrick or Ellen confirm in an interview that they want Mer/Der together as much as we do!     Oh yeah, I am soooooo glad to hear that the people involved with the strike are getting back together after Thanksgiving! That is so encouraging! You know what that means...hopefully we'll get a full season of GA! And we'll get our happy ending with Mer/Der! (yeah!)

    Gloria- I think Shonda definately has the final say on all episodes for GA. I think the writers do their part and then they go to Shonda for her blessings. As we have all said, we know Mer/Der will end up together but I think that Shonda is just letting us see the growth of both Mer/Der and then the magnetic pull between them coming back together will have everybody on the edge of their seats. (As people say it makes for good drama). For me, it is only making me a nervous wreck....because we want this couple together already! And so does Patrick and Ellen. I'm excited about the people meeting soon on the writers strike because that definately gives me hope for the remainder of the season. That also means we can see Shonda's plan play out with Dereck dating and Meredith growing and then the moment we have all been waiting for! This couple will get engaged! I think it will happen this season if they go back to filming. I have even thought of so many ways it could happen...some really good ones too! I know, I'm loosing it, but I can't help myself. I'm just a true Mer/Der fan at heart! lol

    I know I said I would not continue to read spoilers, but I guess I'm looking for any little bit of HOPE I can find when it comes to Mer/Der...And I am still optimistic about these two. But when I find something that I consider ENCOURAGING...I feel so much better. Don't know if this is true, but I want to believe it and thought I would share it. This was posted on another site: Hello, I agree we are all getting upset over fiction. I have a cousin who is a staff person for ugly betty show. She has been with abc for 15 years and is up there in management. She says that it will all work out with Mer/Der it is going to take some time. She also said that Ellen and Patrick are close friends and he loves giving her a hard time about all the hate towards her on the blogs. They do read. Have little time sorry about the spelling.

    Greysaddiction - I haven't ever been so wishy-washy with Mer/Der before, until now. I have always thought they would be together and still do. Its just since we have heard so much about this Lauren girl coming in and being Derek's new love initerest (Which I Hate), I have really been worried about what Shonda may be doing with our Mer/Der. I still can not for the life of me believe Shonda is doing this to their relationship! I truly thought that maybe she would let these two be the HAPPY couple on this show and the storylines she could go with are endless! I hate the thoughts that we are going to be left hanging in the last 3 episodes about Mer/Der because you know that it will take more than that to get Mer/Der back on track! (I really hate that) and I'm just hoping this storyline will be short lived and Lauren will be moving ON! (And Derek BETTER NOT SLEEP WITH HER)! THAT WOULD DEFINATELY DO ME IN! He is McDreamy in my eyes and if he does that, it will somehow ruin the perfect image I have of him! He loves Meredith and he could never love anyone else but her! Like I said in my earlier post, last night was just another example of their love...when he looks up and sees her, his whole face lights up! Thats what I mean by the magic between these two. He is torn by knowing he loves Meredith but is afraid in the end she will not commit to him. (I just want to shake both of them and say GET IT TOGETHER GUYS) (ha) He and Meredith better get their act together QUICK! And I decided that I'm not reading any more spoilers about Mer/Der. Now with things the way they are heading, that would just kill me to read something more devastating than what we have already seen and are thinking that is going to happen! So, no more spoilers for me, I can't handle it! lol
