101. "Physical Attraction, Chemical Reaction"

     I think this season has been great! Each week gets better and better. I think that Lexie and MEredith will continue to bond slowly but surely and hopefully Lexie will help Meredith deal with her issues especially with Derek before it is too late! I am trying to keep the faith where Shonda is concerned when it comes to Mer/Der! I truly believe that will end up together but what bothers me now is whether she will let it happen now instead of later! Especially with the new love interest coming into the picture...maybe we are all making too much out of that and it doesn't really amount to anything! Thas what I'm hoping. ANd I also remember what Patrick said in that TV Guide interview......alot will happen with their relationship in the next few episodes and whatever decision is made seems to be permanent! That could be bad meaning they decide to split or it could be good and Meredith makes a commitment to Derek! The not knowing is killing me! (ha) And whatever change it is...he is looking forward to it...so who knows????????? What do you guys think?

     Hi Everybody...I'm new to this forum. I usually leave my comments on the Grey's insider episode guide and I always read what you guys write as well. I am a huge Mer/Der fan and I am really trying to be optimistic and hopeful where this couple is concerned! I'm really sad about the season ending after the 11th episode since we have really just got started with season 4. I can't believe we only have 4 episodes left! I am trying to have complete faith in Shonda where Mer/Der are concerned. I even listened through her podcasts again yesterday to see if there was any little tidbit of info that maybe we missed telling us that Mer/Der will not be together and there wasn't! She basically said after the first episode that Mer/Der had a magnetic pull to each other and she wasn't ready to see these two apart! She said they would never really split up because they love each other so much. So, even though we know that Meredith still has issues and bless her heart she is definately working on them..slowly but surely..I do believe with all my heart she will get there! I just hope that it happens by the 11th episode so we will not be left hanging and not knowing where these two are as a couple until next season! That would be horrible! I know when I first read Patrick's interview with TV Guide....I basically panicked! But them when I took a deep breath and read it again slowly...he basically didn't tell us anything that we already didn't know......He said that their relationship had gone as far as it could go and that he wanted both characters to grow realistically. He also said that he was looking forward to the change and moving on with whatever this change will be. (We all know that Patrick and Ellen want these two characters together and Patrick has stated that he wished they would marry)! He also said that the only way it could continue (Mer/Der together) would be if she would see a therapist and or commit to marry him. So basically, what I'm trying to say is he DIDN'T say they were going to split he only said if she didn't do either of these things they would probably split! I guess by Patrick making those comments it seemed to put alittle doubt in our minds that Mer/Der may be splitting and were all hoping that they were on the right track! In the next episode the date looks like Sydney that he is having drinks with, so I'm not sure how this other love interest will come into play. I really thought that this would be good for Meredith and push her along to make a commitment to Derek but I'm not sure. But I will still continue to be positive until Shonda really gives us something to feel negative about!

     In case you didn't already know...everybody needs to remember to go to Peoples Choice Awards webpage (everyday) and vote for Patrick, Chandra and Kathyrn. You can vote as many times as you want! Lets hope that our GA gang wins again this year!
