   Hey Shades and Pink, just know there are many others out there like you! I completely know what you are saying. Its to the point where I have something that happens in my life and I compare it to a quote or something that happened on greys! It truly is a great show!

   hi all I have definitely not been on since Friday! So a few things... I think the little girl is a metaphor for mer. and yes, she finds her mom and I think Investigative Sponge said this....so Mer will find her mom and be ok. So I think that Maybe Mers mom Ellis dies and they work things out??? Ellis doesnt come back but Mer does?? Something with them will happen. As for Dylan, McBomb guy, he def did encourage Mer in the Bomb episode and really helped her through it. I think he will help her through this too. When I listened to Shonda's podcast about this week this is what I got from it: they said mer is dying, and they corrected themselves by saying disappeared. I really dont think she will die for good. I mean the writers were making fun of "well we could just call it ANATOMY!" so this leads me to believe they are pulling our chains. They also kept talking about how things are IRONIC in the literary sense. Mer's mom and Mer dying would be ironic and Mer coming back.... just my thoughts hope all is well with everyone.

   i think derek will be torn up over this ...bc I think Mer will be in a coma for maybe an epi or two? She wont come back from this unscathed, but she will live and I think it will bring Mer and Der closer!!! Also DEREK DID SAVE OUR GIRL!!!!! Even though I think Cristina will actually have to be the one from the promos who makes eeryone come toogether to save mer.

   summer I completely agree. I do think Ellis will be the real one to die. Even thought I am convincing myself as well, I dont think any greys fans have to worry about Mer really dying for good. this will be her 'wake up' episode. plus i listened to the podcast on abc.com and shonda was making a comment about how things are so ironic- in the literary sense. It would be ironic that mer and ellis are dying at the same time or that mother and daughtr both die, then mer comes back. Also they talked about Mer being on a journey. This whole falling int he water, dying isnt done for kicks, there is a point and Mer is on a journey, she will finish it and come back to life (i think). Plus, Shonda was making fun of well....I mean we could just call it 'anatomy" and be done. or whatever. But based on what I heard, they are getting us all worked up, whenMer really wont die for good.

   okay....at least you all are just as crazy over this episode as I did. I hope mer doesnt die bc ...well i cant fathom it! Honestly I dont think she will, she will come back and I agree with whoever said for her to die a way to purge herself of all the sorrows and stuff in her life. I love loved derek in this episode and I will give it to addi saying' meredith dont do this' ...she realizes how much mer means to derek. Mark was good to with derek. DID ANYONE SEE THE PART WITH BURKE AND CRISTINA WHERE SHE LIKENS MER SAYING 'SHE WOULD BE THE ONE TO HELP ME DRAG THE BODY AWAY IF I KILLED SOMEONE' AND BURKE SAYS'SO YOU LIKENED HER TO A CORPSE' MEANING MER??? sorry for the caps didnt realize it! but sort of eerie, I think the devastating part is whoever else is suppsed to die yet and we dont know who that is... still hope mer comes back :)

   hey iluvgreys, i just watched it for the second time and thats where I came up with burke saying the 'corpse' thing about mer. I think watching again helps us get through the shock and rationalize how mer wont die for good...right>?!

   yeah i was kinda hoping kate might say something about next week but prolly not since this was taped before the show aired tonight. I just cant see them killing mer off? I really think who ever is going to be killed off as the second person will die bc we dont even know who that is yet and mer would be obivous

    so you know how they have like AA groups and what not.....not trying to be crazy but this is like our GA group ....its an obsession seriously. ps- mer will come back
