  1. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    I can't wait to watch the next episode. I'll be able to watch it Friday night (Singapore time; it's Thursday 11pm here as I write). Until I'd be able to download the episode, I'll be depending on your discussions here in the forums so I'll know what happened. :D It's such a great thing to have a (cyber) place where I could talk about my favorite couple in my favorite TV show. With people who have more or less the same level of addiction as I have, nonetheless. It sucks that I don't have much friends here who love Grey's Anatomy as much as I do. I'm just glad this forum exists. Burktina Forever, we're pretty much the same age, I just turned 21 last November. It's amazing how Bang fans vary from a wide age range. It makes the discussions even more interesting, especially with the more matured and in-depth inputs of Burke Backer and rose.

    Isaiah Washington is oh so hot. I just love his cleft chin. ;) Burke Backer, most of the things you've written made me feel better, thank you very much. I'm just really worried about what could happen to Burke and Cristina before they get married. I mean, look at all the things our favorite couple has gone through before they got engaged. You're right, fighting is okay as long as they show them making up after. And yes, Shonda might be invested in Bang. I'd like to think that Bang is special to Shonda. They're the longest-running couple in the show, and they're the only pair that has no third party involved. i.e. Meredith&Derek - Addison, Finn, Mark; Izzie&Alex - Denny, Olivia, Adisson; George&Callie - Meredith, Olivia, Mark; Adisson&Mark - Derek, Alex, Callie; Alex&Addison - Izzie, Olivia, Mark, Derek Chief&Adele - Ellis; Ellis&Thatcher - Chief Did I leave anyone out? It's like they're exclusive for each other. I remember the syph line scene where Burke said to Cristina: "There's no one else." Aww, I love that scene! What I'm really trying to say is that I think there's no way Burke and Cristina will not get married at the end of all these. I believe that the two of them will have a happily-ever-after life ahead of them. :)

    I so agree with you Rose on what you said about Shonda thriving on conflict. I've learned not to expect too much happy Bang moments because I just get disappointed if I get less than what I expected. Another thing, Burke and Cristina are CLEARLY not Shonda's favorite couple in the show. But they CAN'T call off their engagement. They just can't. It would be too much for them already, wouldn't it? I mean, we've waited for such a long time for them to be really happy!

    "For Cristina to take the big step of sharing something important about her life, she would naturally want it to be special." Now I understand why Cristina kept delaying the announcement of her engagement. It's because of no other reason than her wanting it to be special. I hope Burke realizes that so he won't take it against Cristina. Because obviously, Burke wasn't happy when Cristina went all insistent not to tell anyone first. I mean, Burke was so excited, but Cristina won't let him say anything to anyone until she tells Meredith. My sympathy goes to Burke for that part, but now I completely understand where Cristina is coming from.

    Hey everyone, if you check the General Grey's Gossip category of the forums, there is a "Let's Get Connected on Yahoo Messenger" thread in it.     OMG that was intense. Of course, Meredith will not drown to death. She just can't, can she? She's the star of the show and all that. About Burke and Cristina, I hope they didn't argue about who will tell their friends first about the engagement. I mean, they're just newly engaged, and now they're arguing again?

    I feel bad for Burke because he obviously wants to tell everyone that he and Cristina are engaged, but Cristina insists not to tell anyone YET until she tells Meredith - which she hasn't done yet. I hope Burke stays confident with Cristina. Seriously, Burke commenting something like why does Cristina act as if their engagement is some kind of a disaster is not a good thing, is it? But I love it when Cristina held his hand. They were so cute. Where's Bangfan and Burke Backer?
