  1. Dizzy theories discuss

    I hope schizophrenia is NOT IT.  No mental illness, please.  Even though I am not a fan of Alex and Izzie together, I do LOVE Alex and Izzie having a mental illness would be way too BRUTAL on  Alex!!!!

    I have to say that I think the most viable theory here is that Izzie is sick in some way and that Denny is the "angel of death" and is leading her toward the light.  I would hate for Katie to leave (HATE IT-- Izzie is one of my most favorite characters), but I can't think of any other viable theory.  AND Shonda was quoted as saying that Izzie definitely doesn't have a brain tumor but NOT that Izzie doesn't have ANY type of neurological disease or trauma.  She was very specific there, which leaves disease (or possibly accident) still open as a possibility.  Denny is bringing her into the light.  His letting her go to bed with Alex last epi is simply him knowing that she's not ready to go... quite yet.  I hope she doesn't go.  I hope her illness is discovered in time for treatment to work and then (even though it will break my heart) she'll have to say good bye to Denny to continue living.Oh, and GEORGE WILL NEED TO BE BY HER SIDE -- HE'S HER BEST FRIEND!!!!  George will convince her to stay.  That's my wish of how this plays out!!!

    Something else to ponder too-- Shonda has been quoted recently as saying that all that you need to know about this season you can find in the first epi, "Dream a little Dream...".

    I'm totally intrigued about that statement to the point where I may have to take time and download that epi to watch again!!

    So, I'm wondering where the writers are going to go with George and his newfound revelation??  Any thoughts or ideas?  I'm inclined to think that he is shell-shocked right now (b/c he obviously was so consumed with other stuff that was going on with him that he didn't even realize the extent to which Lexie cared) and that he's going to be a little hurt that she didn't just talk to him directly about how she feels and that he's going to really realize how much he cares about her, but also realize that it's not in the romantic sense.  I'm sure many peole have a different opinion-- I'm looking for theories on where the writers are going with this.

    One thing I hope most for, is that we get more George on-screen time!!!

    I can totally understand if you're frustrated with the storylines (I think they are great, myself) and have a different opinion to express, but do you have to insult the fans that are happy?

    I LOVED this epi!

    Mer's moment in the hall when she called out for Der-- so cute!

    Der bringing Lexie home-- absolutely WONDERFUL!

    Sloan with the little girl- staying with her and making her go to sleep-- priceless.  I simply love Sloan.

    An end finally to the intern fight club type storyline!

    George & Lexie-- where are they going with that?  I guess George needed to realize that Lex is in love with him.  Is he gonna realize he feels the same?  I actually hope not.  I like them both, but I don't think they fit together romatically.

    Izzie and Denny-- so emotional, so intense.  I'm loving watching her work through this.  As for Alex, she is bringing out the best in him, but it seems a bit too drastic change all at once.  I love Alex.  I love that he's standing there supporting her.  I love that he's sticking up for her, but it's a bit too ultra-hero to be Alex.  hmmm.....  I still am waiting for George to be there for her as a best friend.  Because he is her best friend.  Still wondering how the Denny thing will play out.

    As for Cristina & Mer's fight-- painful.  The actresses played it so well that I hurt.  They are each other's persons though, so I'm sure they'll whether the storm.

    Sadie is rubbing me the wrong way.  I wonder where they are taking her.  I'd much rather see more of other characters.

    Callie.  Poor Callie with her nose.  Her scene with Sloan was great stuff.  I am really enjoying the two of them together.

    MerDer- I love them happy together.  We are seeing a new type of growth with both of them and I'm enjoying it.  I'd love to see some of the passion between them too, though!  A little steam, please writers!

    Can't wait for next week!!!!

  6. Izzie and Denny?

    I'm completely loving this Izzie and Denny thing, even if it is crazy impossible!!!!

    I really hope they're not going the mental illness route-- I wont' buy that one!

    I think brain tumor.  Only I really hope she's curable.  I wouldn't want Izzie to leave.  She'd leave a huge hole in the show.

    And WHERE IS HIS FRIENDSHIP WITH HIS BEST FRIEND, IZZIE?????????????????????

     

    Whether you're an AI fan for a Gizzie friend, you have to admit it makes no sense that George and Izzie don't interact at all anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I really felt a new energy this epi.  And it wasn't from the new characters-- it really wasn't.  It was a new energy with the older characters, especially with Izzie, Callie, Sloan, Lexie (although she should ditch the fight club practice on yourselves thing)....

    Now where's my George energy????

    George needs to be by Izzie's side if she's going to be sick!!!!!

    Honestly,

    this was my favorite epi of the season (so far).

    Honestly!

    Here's my take on some of it--

    1. I have to be true to my heart here--  WHERE IS GEORGE???  Has to be item 1 for me, b/c it's getting excessive, the lack of George-- makes no sense!

    2. I LOVED the little banter b/t McDreamy and McSteamy when Der was telling Sloan to stay away from Lexie-- Sloan's comment about Der's inaccurate statement, that it should have been "BigSloan" was hilarious!  Gotta love Sloan!

    3.  As much as I am perplexed, I have to say I soaked up every tiny Denny Izzie second we were given!  However, I will never buy that she's gone totally mentally ill.  So, I guess that leaves dying-- the brain tumor idea.  I really would hate for Izzie to be gone, so maybe Der can fix her.  In the mean time, I'm loving Izzie & Denny together-- the chemistry b/t the two is unreal!

    4.  New docs-- I don't have much opinion.  Sadie controversy?  So far, for me, she's just there.  She could bring some interesting dynamics between Cristina and Der, though-- I think I'll enjoy that.  Der's welcome to my world comment was perfect.  Interesting all the many ways that Cristina's character keeps evolving.  She's really fantastic.

    5.  Cristina and Hunt-- like it, but gotta see more it see if I'm really gonna love it.

    6.  Lexie-- loved her interactions with Mer and with Sloan today! 

    7.  Interns-- this fight club type story line is take it or leave it for me.

    8.  Callie with Sloan-- great stuff this epi.  I am really liking them together lately.  Cristina being there for Callie-- very cool too.

    9.  Hahn being gone seemed good actually.  Although, I still don't agree with how that all went down and I thought Brooke Smith did a great job playing her.  Hahn was just so negative all the time, though, so her being gone was actually like a breath of fresh air.

    10. MerDer-- we need to see some heat!  They are still in love, right?  Where's those McDreamy looks?  Where's the MerDer passion we love?

    11.  Oh, and WHERE'S GEORGE?  Can he please help Izzie?  If she really is sick, I can't imagine George being anywhere but by her side!!!  The are best friends!!

     

    Great epi!  I really look forward to the next!!!!!!!!

  10. Will You Watch?

    I will definitely keep watching!!  Greys really is an ensemble of amazing characters and amazing actors playing them.  Watching or not watching, for me, can not be determine by the absence of one character or the breakup of one relationship (or the introduction of one that I don't like).  I watch for everybody... Mer, Der, George, Bailey, Izzie, Cristina, Sloan, Chief.........

    LOVE GREYS!
