  1. Any way to keep it civil?

    I'm noticing a lot of posters that 'seem' new to this site - also posters that are on a lot of the other GA sites. My issue is - they seem to be more intent on stirring up trouble between individuals than participating in a civil discussion. I hate to suggest banning people, but is there anyway to get these posts removed, or otherwise keep the comments and forums from deteriorating? I really like this site because MOST people can have open discussions and agree to disagree without resorting to namecalling and threats...but it looks like there are several posters that are only interested in bashing somebody (doesn't matter who, or for what)... Just askin' thanks!

  2. Didn't We Almost Have it All

    Y'all probably already know this...but I just found S3 available for sale at ITunes.... You can get the Denny retrospective episode for free, and the music vid also. Individual epis are 1.99 US, and the whole season was 34.99..... Of course, you don't get the dvd extras...but I am so jonesing for the first episode, so I got it.

  4. Brandy Carlisle's The Story

    I know ths is old news, but the song has been getting a lot of airplay here lately... So, I watched the video again. Wow, talk about depressing. Very few smiling faces in that one. I gues it just hit me that it was the perfect video for such a depressing season. But what a great song...

    oh, I scanned through the 'play by play'....just dunno, guys....hoping the show is more optimistic than the posting makes it seem. I have the tivo on BOTH tvs! My son is at his dad's. the boyfriend is staying home tonight (Friday's are an early day for him)....and I just fixed a GIANT drink. I'm ready to laugh, cry, and HOPEFULLY celebrate my favorite characters. see you after the show!

    OMG OMG OMG Derek laid his heart in Meredith's hand, and she wasn't strong enough to hold it. The question now is - did it break? Burke's vows made me understand what all the Burke fans already knew....wow! I KNOW it's just a tv show. But I am hurting so much for all those characters. They are who we are. Damn, it's gonna be a long summer.

  7. DO NOT READ IF U DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FINALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    To me, the agony of Burke & Christina is that they both were trying so hard, almost too hard - and just could not get in synch. Same with Der / Mer....ok, Shonda, we get it We ALMOST had it all... so close, so close to happiness - only to be jerked away at the last minute. The last scene with Christina and Mer in Burke's apt broke my heart. You know Christina is devastated to be falling apart like that. And I can't hate Derek....but I am walking in Meredith's shoes. well, I'm guaranteed to tune in to S4 - at least for a while. Sure hope Peter Horton and the S1/S2 writers come back. I'll buy the dvd, but I don't think I'll be watching it like S1 & 2...the music was good this season, tho. oh, it's gonna be such a long summer

    OMG I can't believe I sat there and screamed at the tv....multiple times! I am heartbroken...for every character. Worn out... I mean, the ONLY people who got some love tonight were Joe and Walter. I am so like Meredith. I need this to work because I need to see people be happy and this just isn't working for me. can't wait to see the writer's blog and the podcast...but initial feedback elsewhere has been about like it is here - "wtf??" (pardon the expression). All I want is to see our couples happy before the series is cancelled.... g'night, y'all!

  9. Testing 1-2-3

    Oh, I'm even having a GA finale party...I'm in a new office, so it's kind of a 'get to know you' party with the finale as an excuse. Anyone have suggestions for what to serve? So far, I've got interns pizza and Meredith's tequila....I'm thinking about making some sandwiches and wrapping them up like they've come out of vending machines...and of course, hot dogs (from the hot dog eating contest!). But I'd love any other suggestions!! Re: everyone talking about the little snarky comments, "Seriously", etc....I wonder if the reason we aren't seeing as much /many of those are because we've lost the continuity in writers? Maybe it's jut me, but I think a lot of the things we DON'T like about season 3 stems from having a different group of writers / producers that don't understand the the characters like the original bunch did - or even like we do! And what happened to Peter Horton???

  10. Testing 1-2-3

    Maybe this has already been talked about...I just saw it mentioned over at TvoP... Derek's father committed suicide??? Did we know that already? I know he is from a close knit family with 4 sisters...but I didn't remember the father suicide bit... That would explain SOOOO much about their current state, and the "can't breathe for you". Does anyone else know / remember this? And what do you think?
