  1. The Other Side of Life

Soo this is crazy, and I would laugh if it ends up being true because it's so far-fetched and ridiculous.. But Ava speaks at least 4 languages, right? Possibly more, probably more. And from the preview it's apparent that she knows who she is, but she's hiding it (why else would Alex be yelling?). .... So... the first thing that popped into my mind is that Ava is a CIA agent. Hahaha! I enjoyed PP, but I agree that it dragged and there was NOT enough GA mixed in there! I really liked Addison's development there. Realizing her last dream, and having it crushed like that... Her acting was amazing as she dealt with her own infertility, brought on by waiting her whole life so she could do more surgery on other people's babys. Very sad, very sad...

  2. The Other Side of Life

Also, <3 the elevator scene. There were one too many instances of Callie catching Izzie being depressed. Their interactions were really interesting this episode.. Callie is probably very sure that there is something going on- did you see that look she gave Izzie right as the elevator closed? It was an "I know" look, not a hatred look. I think Callie is learning an important lesson here, after pushing her way in and out of every other situation as she has in the past. Their little triangle is so enthralling. I'm glad it's much more complicated than the classic dirty mistress with the wife incapable of feeling anything but hate and the jovial husband. It's such an interesting little web they've weaved for themselves. I look forward to the conclusion!

  3. Addison and the Chief?

I think the Cheif is professional enough to know when to keep his pants on, unlike many of our other beloved characters. I think in that scene, Addison was just being a friend.

  4. Izzie/daughter

I thought it was perfect timing, in light of the issues with George. It forced them to put their petty drama aside and handle a much larger, much more serious issue, and forced them to get over the altercation and move on.

  5. O'Mizzie

I think, regardless of Izzie and George and the innappropriateness of their actions, I have no sympathy for things falling through with Callie. Callie basically elbowed her way into every aspect of their relationship. George was obviously not ready for her, and instead of backing off, she pushed harder and harder, until finally he was essentially given an ultimatum to act upon. Out of greif and afraid to lose somebody else he cared about, George proposed. His timing was terrible. He proposed less because he wanted to spend his life with Callie, and more because he was afraid of losing her. When they fought, George said "I'm just the dog you keep hitting on the nose with the newspaper," or something similar to that. Callie is never satisfied with George, and her own insecurities keep her begging and coming back, even when in her heart she knows he isn't there with her. I will be glad to see them break up. Callie is a great character, but has a lot of emotional growing up to do before she attempts to maintain a marriage. As far as O'Mizzie, still pondering how I feel about that.. They have excellent screen chemistry, that's for sure!

  6. Callie

I don't really see it... I see Callie as being single for a while. I think the divorce will leave her really insecure and scared to get back into dating. It'll probably take a while to get over losing her McDreamy.

  7. Meredith and Derek

I have a strong suspicion that Derek knows Bailey is right (when has she ever been wrong?) and that scene in his trailer was simply him privately greiving the loss of his career goal. I think he also knows that ditching Mer in favor of being Cheif will do him no favors with Richard, so his fate is already quite sealed. My guess for this season's cliffhanger... Derek is at a life crossroads. He is facing big life descisions. What is another big life moment? Proposals.... Think about it. Bang is getting married, O'Callie is getting a divorce, it only makes sense that at the last moment in the episode, Derek will drop to one knee and leave all of us viewers salivating and waiting for next season.
