    Oh, I haven't seen Cake. Is it a new release? Also,I think Izzie is hugging Cristina because she just told her that Meredith was missing. I think it is after that that Cristina goes looking for her. She may be the one who finds her, but they sure set it up for Derek to be her knight, so we'll see. I kind of like the idea of Meredith saving herself, deciding to live, deciding life is worth it and fighting to live herself.

    Hi cackalacky69. I thought of that, too, especially since we see the gasoline leaking from the car where she is working on the crushed man. But, we see her later and she is on abcmedianet in part three in her scrubs in the hospital, so I don't think she is going to die. You never know though.

    Question: No frakkin' way! For Papa Smurf’s sake, Meredith is totally going to be saved by McDreamy, right?— Lori Ausiello: (Spoiler alert) Actually, I'm hearing it'll be someone else who's ultimately tasked with saving Mer. Here is something from Ausiello's column today. Maybe it will be Cristina that rescues Meredith. That would be kind of cool. I personally wish it would be Burke because he needs to do something heroic to keep people off of his back.

66. Walk On Water

    If Mer has a near death experience it will undoubtedly help her realize all that she has to live for. I personally can't believe Derek wouldn't be enough of a reason to live all by himself. One of the spoiler sites said that Derek would not be the one who saves her. Who do you think it will be? It could be Cristina because she is definitely looking for her. One of the spoilers back a month or so ago said that Burke would redeem himself in these episodes. Maybe he rescues Meredith or maybe saves her life after the near drowning. I am thinking he will more apt be the one who cannot save her mother. If he saves her though, that would be one way for him to step up and be a hero. I don't think it is Izzie who finds Meredith because you see her in the hospital with the Chief working on a patient. George is looking for the patient's son. Maybe he will find Meredith while looking for the little boy. Or maybe it will be Bailey. Bailey is very mother hen like with the interns. It would be kind of nice if she is the one who discovers Meredith if it isn't Derek.

    To be honest, I could stay a fan of the show if one of the cast died other than Burke, Cristina, Meredith and Derek. I would miss Bailey, Alex, and Addison. I would kind of miss Chief or Mark. But I am really so done with Izzie and could easily get used to the show without either George or Callie. That having been said, I really hope none of the original cast of 12 are killed off. I hate that the writers keep doing this to us. I don't like to be worried about whether or not a main character is going to be killed off. I think that is unnecessary stress for the fans. The relationship ups and downs are stress enough.

68. Grey's Anatomy: The Official Magazine

    I'm excited about the magazine, too. I hope they will give us lots of behind the scenes stuff and interesting information about the actors. I want to know more about them personally and I hope there are lots and lots of pictures. My local grocery store has the magazine from the television show Lost, so I am hoping they will carry this one, too.

    I agree. I thought it was so poignant when Ellis told Richard that if they had stayed together and gotten that house he talked about and had more children so that Meredith would have a little brother or sister that everything would have been different and that she would have been happy. I was wishing at the time that Meredith had heard her. I think it would have given Meredith permission to have a life other than as a surgeon. I wish Meredith had heard her tell the Chief that they would have been so perfectly ordinary and she would have been happy. That scene between Meredith and her mother still breaks my heart to think about it. I felt so sorry for Meredith. Her mom couldn't even use her sickness as an excuse. She was just plain brutal. No wonder she feels like she is disappearing. Like shades_of_grey said, I think she will come to realize how many people love her and that she has a family there other than her biological one.
