31. No Seriously...how obsessed are you with Grey's Anatomy

    How obsessed am I, okay, I'll tell you. Here is my day and my guilty obsession. I wake up in the morning and the first thing I see is my Grey's Anatomy calendar perpetually open to November, his month. I walk down the hall to take my shower and glance in my computer room and there he is looking at me on my screen saver. It is the scene in the oncall room. He doesn't have his shirt on and he looks hot and sexy. He's looking over his arm at his soon to be girlfriend trying to read her and figure out why she's there. When I get to work his picture is taped to my book shelf just inside my office. It's the one on the camping trip where he looks all manly and handsome in his fishing gear. I can see it from my desk every time I look up. I flip on my computer at work and there he is in the middle tile. It's currently the picture of him in the purple sweater he wears at the dinner party when his girlfriend is eating cereal out of the box and they are still not talking. But there have been many others. My favorite's change often. Blue jeans and green sweater, purple striped dress shirt, black coat, multicolored scrub cap. Every time I close a program and go to another one his picture pops up and I pause a moment to admire him. When I get home from work, if I am not going anywhere or doing anything in particular, I go to the internet and google his name to see if anything new is in the news about him. I always hope that I'll find something positive, and sometimes I do, but if there is something negative printed I go to the site and try to write a comment back in support of him. Then I log onto eonline to see if they are saying awful things about him and if so I send a comment of my own to support him. Next I log onto the tvguide website and do the same thing. Then I go to abc.com to see if his picture will pop up on the Grey's anatomy page and I read the Grey Matter posts since the last time I logged in. If I haven't submitted a comment yet, I write one making sure to discuss his scenes and how wonderful he is in them. I do a search and find for his name and read to see what people are saying. The last few weeks the comments have been for the most part positive with only a couple of hateful ones that I try not to respond to at all. I avoid the abc message board because from what I have read there are lots of young viewers who see things only in very black and white terms and there are still a lot of haters there who refuse to recognize the gray areas even though they profess to be fans of grey's anatomy. Next, I log into abcmedianet.com to see if there are any new press releases that will put my mind at ease that he isn't going to leave the show or any new pictures from upcoming episodes so that I can be reassured that he will be in the next episode. Then sometimes I go to youtube and watch some of the hundreds of videos of him and his girlfriend that fans have posted. Some are really awesome, a montage of some of my favorite scenes set to music. There are also clips of television appearances and of scenes from the show. I have over a hundred on my favorites list. I can put them on an automatic loop and watch one after another while I eat dinner. Then I might pop a DVD in and watch one of his movies or one of the episodes of Grey's from season one or two. I have watched all of his movies now. I like some better than others, but I always like him. Often I log onto one of my favorite websites, greysanatomyinsider or bangsanatomy, and I can chat with other fans who also love this guy that I love. Then, usually sometime after midnight, I look at the autographed picture I have of him taped to the side of my computer, say good night, and go to bed. I usually have good dreams. Diagnosis: Obsession. Prognisis: It doesn't stop me from going anywhere or doing anything else that I want to do. I'm not on a plane to Los Angelos to stalk him. I haven't sent threatening letters to Ted Casablanca. I haven't sent hate mail to his nonsupportive castmates or love letters to the supportive ones. So, I think it is a mild case of obsession that doesn't hurt anyone. As long as he stays on the show and the show stays on television, the prognosis is good. LOL Thanks for asking.

32. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    Well, I think the guy was brought in to add some spice to their relationship. In three seasons there hasn't been a threat to them from an outside person. Burke is going to be jealous and Cristina is going to love it up to a point. He'll probably get hurt before she realizes she's hurting him. But, in the end I think the challenge will make them stronger. There is also talk of a new Black female doctor coming on board. I really don't want a whole year of separation like we had with Derek and Meredith. I hope this is only an episode or two and that they get married before the end of the season.

    It is. But I found him on Grey's and that is where I see him each week, so it is also with Greys. Does that not count as a Grey's obsession? Maybe not.

34. Scars and Souvenirs

    I agree, McDreamy02. She's great, but I don't see her carrying a show. Who knows though. Shonda does some amazing writing. I read somewhere that Meredith is suppose to be like 27 or 28 and Cristina a little bit older and Izzie a little younger. I think all of the interns are in their upper twenties or early thirties.

35. Scars and Souvenirs

    So, who is the woman patient that Derek is kissing on the cheek in the still pictures for 3/15 on abcmedianet.com. I mean, I know it is Shohreh Aghdashloo, but what is the character's relationship to Derek? Do you suppose she is a souvenier or a scar? And what about the old professor that is squeezing on Cristina's butt? I'll bet from Burke's persepctive he is a scar, but I wonder about Cristina's persepctive.

36. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    Hi everyone. What do you think of tonight's promo for the new episode? Some old dude was grabbing on Cristina right in front of Burke and everyone. It looks like he is an old lover of hers, a professor. Burke asks her about it later in the promo and she says he was an old professor and that they were close. Burke says that appears to be an understatement, and Cristina says she didn't think he wanted to hear about every guy she ever slept with. He kind of recoils from that comment. It might be kind of funny. I hope they don't have to get all angry and silent again though. I'm so tired of the arguing Bang. I just want the happy Bang.

37. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    I can't believe that 61% of the people think we will see Denny again. I am so over Denny. Did you see the way Izzie and George were looking at each other in the promo for next week? It really looks like they might hookup and I just find that completely wrong. I can't get into them together. Plus, how many more times is he going to hurt Callie. I am really beginning to like Callie. The music for the next episode seems kind of playful, but there sure is a lot not so playful going on.

38. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    Hi Burktina Forever. I have it too. There is a too long article on Mark Sloan, in my opinion, but the rest is pretty interesting. There are lots of pictures of everyone. This first issue really focuses on Meredith and Derek, as it should. I hope the next one will focus more on Burke and Cristina. If we have a wedding it may be about that. Wouldn't that be great? There are lots of pictures of the 3/15 episode which will be repeated 3/16, but then we have reruns again the week of 3/22 and 3/23 it looks like. In one place I read that the episode leading to the new spinoff will be not the last week but the week or two before the last week of the season and that it is a two hour show. So, I am still hopeful that the final show of the season will be the Bang wedding.

    I haven't been on much because I have had lots of trouble loading the forums. I can get on the main page, but often can't pull up the forums. Tonight I got on right away though, and last night, too, so maybe it has been fixed. I miss talking to you guys.

40. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

    There is a picture on abcmedianet.com that shows Cristina listening intently to the new doctor who is in the running for chief and another one with Burke kind of looking at her in a surprised way. I don't know who this doctor is, but he is only signed on for a few episodes and is not intended to be a regular, I don't think. He may be someone Cristina once knew before Burke and before coming to Seattle Grace. Someone on the message board that was posted above thought it might be her step father, but I doubt it since her step father is a dentist (oral surgeon) and would probably not practice in a hospital or be running for Chief of Staff in surgery. The girl in the hospital bed played by Shohreh Aghdashloo is obviously someone from Derek's past. We don't know anything about her yet except that there is a picture of him kissing her in a friendly, sort of brotherly way, but obviously someone he knows well. I don't think that she is another sister, so she may be an ex of Derek's. I believe I read somewhere that she is someone he went to medical school with. I am sure Callie's father owns hotels. There is a reference to her and Paris Hilton. Since there is no physical resemblance, I'm sure her dad is rich. I also think that's why she can stay at the hotel without going bankrupt. I'm sure Shonda will make the Burktina fans sweat out whether or not they will get married even if she is planning a wedding for this spring or next fall. She is bound to throw obstacles in their way. A man from Cristina's past could be one of them. I have also heard that a beautiful new African American doctor will be arriving soon. That could spell trouble for Burktina, too. But, I do think that as long as Isaiah stays on the show there will be a wedding. That is the natural next step for them. I still don't see that as being a sure thing, though, but I am still hopeful. At the NAACP Image Awards, Isaiah did not go up on stage with the others to receive the GA award for best television drama. It was presented prior to the portion of the show that was televised, but they showed a clip of it and there are quite a few pictures. It was Zoanne (the writer), Shonda, Justin, Eric, Chandra, and James. Isaiah may have been unable to be there, but I don't know why that would be. He was a presenter. Maybe he was behind stage or not there yet. But it looked strange to me. When Isaiah himself won for best actor in a television drama, I couldn't see Jim, Justin, or Eric, but Chandra was sitting right behind Isaiah and his wife. Isaiah turned and said something to her before hugging his wife and going up on stage. Chandra was smiling broadly and clapping and looked very happy for him. Shonda was in the row behind Chandra and although she stood up when everyone else did and clapped somewhat unenthusiastically, she didn't smile the entire time and didn't look particularly pleased. Isaiah thanked his household help and everyone laughed except Shonda and the woman sitting with her. Both kind of sat their stonefaced. In his acceptance speech he thanked many people including his maid and nanny, but didn't thank anyone from Grey's including Shonda. Last year he was effusive in his praise of the "Goddess". I don't think all is well on the set yet. I hope I'm wrong. I also think it was disrespectful that Patrick, Ellen, TR, Katherine, Katie, Sandra, and Sara didn't attend the event. Last year Sandra, TR, Katherine, and Katie all attended in addition to Justin, Chandra, James, and Isaiah. Supposedly the cast was shooting. I would think if all were well Shonda would have allowed the cast time off to attend. I also did not like how sad Isaiah seemed. I think the haters in the gossip columns have him believing he is undeserving of this honor. Watching him struggle with his emotions made me want to give him a big hug. I wish I were certain that he is safe, but I'm not. I do think if we have a Bang wedding it will be a sign that he is staying on the show and if we do not it will mean they have decided to let him go. So, obviously I am really, really hoping for a wedding.
