New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!
It is not surprising that the Sandra Oh website is reporting the Canadian channel, Burktina Forever, since it is run by Sandra's best friend, Margo, also a Canadian. I'm confused, BF. I thought the Canadian channel said the big news was that Callie is pregnant and that it wasn't that Burke and Cristina are breaking up. Isn't that right? Shades of Grey, I honestly do not think what Isaiah said was all that offensive. That word is bandied about on the streets, on television, in the movies all quite often. Isaiah didn't use the word to bash gay people. It was one word used in reference to TR Knight and may not have even referred to his sexuality but rather wimpy behavior. I have to say, I have become more of a Patrick Dempsey fan this past winter than ever before. Patrick is the one that Isaiah had the altercation with, not Knight. And Patrick has had many positive things to say about Isaiah since then, probably more than anyone else on the show. Patrick says Isaiah is a passionate person who allows himself to feel things deeply and that that can sometimes be hard to contain. He calls him talented. He says he has given beautiful performances both before and after the altercation in October. Patrick Dempsey's handling of the entie thing has been admirable. I hope you are right Burktinaforever and that we still have a Bang wedding. I am sure that one was planned prior to the Golden Globes. The question is whether there were rewrites after the incident or whether they are following through with the original plan. I wish there was more that we could do to convince them to follow through on the original plans. They are so cute together. I love in the promos when he says she was kind of a kiss ass in college. That's cool, Pink Mist. There are things I really like about both Meredith and Izzie. I love Izzie's positive attitude and hopefulness and I love Meredith's kindness. She really is a kind person. If I were critically ill, I would want Burke to operate because he is a perfectionist and has the best mortality rate at Seattle Grace (plus I would survive just to see him when I woke up), but I would want Meredith to be there assisting and reminding everyone present of my name and that I am a real person. "5 bucks says its his old college flame, the chick before addison…" I think so, too, Pink Mist, but it might just be a close friend of his and Addison's. I have also read that Finn is coming back. I have a feeling this will be in the My Favorite Mistakes episode. I don't think they will break up Derek and Meredith now though. If they do they are really stupid. He just discovered how much he loves her when she almost died and she just discovered how much she wanted to live to be with him. I would, Hot4Dempsey. I would stop watching if Isaiah left. It wouldn't actually be because I am no longer interested in the residents of Seattle Grace, but more because I could not support a show who would fire someone over something so trumped up and ridiculously overblown. If they don't support their actors, they don't need my support. Part of what I love about the show is their whole "we are a family" thing. This actress, Shohreh Aghdashloo, is younger that Patrick Dempsey. She sure isn't going to be his mother. I also don't think it will be a sister because, well she doesn't look Irish. I just think it was someone he liked in medical school or someone that was a friend of his and Addison's. There is a picture of him kissing her cheek and she is going through some type of heart surgery because the new guy from Stanford, Colin Marlow, is in the operating room.Posted 3/14/2007 1:00:00 AM # -

The spoiler said two interns will hook up that have never hooked up before. So, it can't be George and Meredith or Alex and Izzie. Cristina would never hook up with Bambi and I think she loves Burke so I can't imagine that she would hook up with Alex, and Alex has never liked her so I can't imagine that he would hook up with her. Meredith is in love with Derek, has already hooked up with George and I can't imagine her with Alex even though they are friends. So that only leaves Izzie and George. They are the only two that make any sense at all. I don't know any other interns, only nurses, residents, and attendings. I think that George and Izzie may hook up and then George is consumed with guilt and Izzie realizes that she has deeper feelings for George than she realized. Although that would really be a change of character for Izzie. Earlier she couldn't believe that George was Callie's McDreamy. They lived together and she crawled into his bed and was very asexual towards him. It would be a sudden change of heart to go from best friend to a sexual attraction. Hi everyone. I am really upset about the spoiler on Kristen and have written several comments on her webpage. It might help if those of us who love Bang go to her page and leave a message indicating that we would be very disappointed if her spoiler is true. If there is an insider, maybe the insider will take that message back to Shonda and the powers that be at ABC. I am trying to keep in mind that Kristen, while often right, exaggerates greatly. Remember when she told us a main character would die and it turned out to be Mr. O'Malley? On the outs can mean all kinds of things from a spat to a temporary break up to the end of the line for B and C. I am hoping for a spat. I am very disappointed about her "unlikely to get married" comment since that is what I am most hoping for. But she also did not say for certain. She said unlikely. That could be a carefully worded statement to get us upset and worried again and to keep us watching. I think Shonda only lets her know what she wants us to know. She won't want us to be too secure in a wedding coming up. At least tht is what I am hoping. I also left a message on abc.com on the writer's blog expressing my extreme disappointment if there is a plan to break up Cristina and Burke after all they have been through together. Hi Bayfront. I'm so glad you are here to give us the perspective from the Philippines. I agree about Bang fans. In general I think they are a different group than the typical GA fans. I honestly think the young fans who love Burke and Cristina are willing to be more open to people and relationships that go a little bit outside of the Hollywood image. I love that. I also think that Bang fans in general tune in more to the dialogue and the subtleties of the unspoken words. These two performers do an unbelievable job with just a look or a touch. Someone in one of the threads said they loved Burke because he is edgy. I think that's true of both of them. Burke and Cristina are edgy and so is their relationship. It isn't a comfortable love story, but it is one that grabs you and pulls you in if you let it.Posted 3/12/2007 1:00:00 AM #
