101. Walk On Water

     I agree with Summer about the little girl. She only looked about 7 to me and that is too young to be Izzie's daughter. It was strange though that no one was looking for her. I don't think she is in Meredith's imagination because it looks like Derek asks her directly where Meredith is in the promos for next week. So, I don't know who she is or who she is meant to represent. Meredith obvioulsy made a connection with her though. That was interesting. It was strange when Derek asked Meredith if she wanted to get married and she said no. I just think they aren't ready yet. I think he'll be ready before her. She has too many childhood things to overcome before getting married, I think, but then so does Cristina and I am hoping she gets married this season.

     Oh horray! Thanks,Rose. I haven't even tried to chat because I still can't get on the old burktina thread. Now I have all this catching up to do. Yay!

103. New BURKTINA, PRESTINA, BANG!

     So many things to talk about. I loved the scene with Burke and the other attendings and Chief on the elevator. Burke looked so hot and so happy. I loved when they were all smiling when Addison was telling them to leave the Chief alone. So cute. Don't you think Burke and Cristina both enjoy their little mind games with each other. I loved when she was mad at him for telling Derek before she got to tell Meredith that he put the ball right back in her court by asking why she didn't tell Meredith in the 45 minutes they were together. It took the wind right out of Cristina's sails. Loved it. They really are like playing a chess game. One attacks and the other counters and I think they love it. They're both so smart. It is hard for either one to get the best of the other. The main thing that is evident throughout is that they love each other and that's why any of it matters to them.

     I think it might affect Burke and Cristina getting married if Meredith is in a coma or something like that. I don't think she'll want to get married until her friend can be in the wedding. I also think if Meredith has a near death experience and sees Denny that it will have an impact on Cristina's whole issue with spirituality. It may at least give her a bit of reflection time on whether everything is all about science.

     I agree, Rose. I think Meredith will be delighted for Cristina and Burke both. Both Derek and Meredith shared that little smile between each other when Cristina got on the elevator. I loved the scene between Burke and Derek talking about the women in their lives. It was cute to see them confiding and I think they both need a man friend because both of their girl friends are "just a little bit crazy".

     I agree, Burktinafanforlife. I don't think Meredith would have been upset if she wasn't the first to know either, but it would have been important to Cristina if the shoe were on the other foot, so I think Cristina assumes it will be important to Meredith, too.

109. Wishin' and Hopin'

     I'm so glad you are having a chance to catch the early episodes. I am watching on Sunday late night, too, just because I love how it all began. Do you have access to YouTube? If so, there are some really great videos. I have most of the literally hundreds of Burke and Cristina videos on my favorites list, but one of my most favorites is Burke and Cristina scenes set to the music of Marvin Gaye's Let's Get it On. It doesn't of course include the recent great scenes, but has most of my favorites from season one and about the first half of season two. I haven't watched the Meredith and Derek ones, but I am sure there are hundreds of those as well. It's free to have a YouTube membership if you don't already have one. Check it out.

110. Wishin' and Hopin'

     Hi Rose, Yes, that was the "Thanks for the Coffee" scene and I have loved Isaiah ever since. LOL I actually loved the "It's only coffee" scene too, earlier in the episdoe. They were so cute. I also love that he owned up to having left the towel in the woman's chest. I think that episode is when George developed a lot of respect for Burke right along with me, the viewer. George was watching when he apologized.
