   Hey Guys! Seems everyone's watching old episodes. It's Sunday night here and I'm watching Season 2's finale! Can't wait for a saucy MerDer final scene! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I helped plant 3000 native trees today and am SO knackered! Sorry about your neighbour Purplemerder...it's always shocking when people we know are here one minute and gone the next. The same thing happened to my Aunt last year, one minute she's laughin the next she's dead...heart attack at 41. Crazy eh.

   haha Trisha, great run...did you buy a BBQ? I'm a runner myself & have just signed up for the "5 Volcanoes Challenge" which is in 2 months. It involves running to and up the peaks of 5 volcanoes in the city - it's about 18km all up and the peaks are between 150-250m each. Crazy eh, so my training has begun!!!

   yeah it's just damn good telly. At least you guys have the summer to look forward too in that it will be nice and sunny and warm (great for BBQs)! I've got a cold and rainy winter coming :( but at least it's perfect to watch GA re-runs, LOL

   I just loved that scene in the finale at the end with Meredith and Christina...it was so touching how Mer was there for her, and how she says "I'm free...damn it" I have to say I cried...and I'm a hard-ass! :)

   I think MerDer will work it out...does anyone remember in Season two when Meredith says to Mark, "Derek is not the kind of man you leave if you can help it" or something like that...Shonda doesn't put these things in by accident.

   yeah and remember, when she 'died' she came back for him. Because she didn't just want snippets now and then, she wanted all of him...so God know's what her problem is! I think perhaps, with her Mum dying, and Susan dying, and her Dad slapping her and telling her she's not wanted that she's protecting herself. She's afraid of getting hurt by Derek as well...and who can blame her after he chose Addison, and then in the last episode when he said, "I met a woman." She's already admitted that she has abandonment issues (in the snoring episode) and now her best friend Christina has been abandoned by Burke. She's pushing Derek away and ending it now rather than risk getting abandoned and hurt later. And also, her and Alex are parallels - he does the same thing...he doesn't let anyone get too close. Maybe those two can help each other next season.

   hmmm good point girls! I definately think the Lexi and Derek thing will pop up in Season 4. I don't think Derek would sleep with her or anything, especially if Meredith is 'the love of my life' - it would take him awhile to get over her...but I wonder if Lexi will persue him. I can't see him interested in her tho, she seems very naive. Plus, he should know better than to sleep with Mer's sister! How cruel would that be! I wonder if Lexi and Mark will have a thing, since him and Derek seem to be attracted to the same kind of woman.

   plus...she's an intern - talk about bad rep for Derek if he starts dating another intern! It's been done. Interesting too how Mer met Derek in the same bar one year earlier, the day before she was due to start her new job..and it was the same for Lexi. Symetry (which I've forgotten how to spell!).

    it's whether Meredith will get jealous and do something stupid like sleep with Mark. Ouch. Since that's her thing, getting drunk and sleeping with inappropiate men. Anyway, I really need to shut up now :) Cya!
