I hope that Izzie doesn't have a tumor that would ruin the whole show! She has to be one of the coolest characters in the Grey's Anatomy! She brings everything together and now that Denny is there with her it will make it even more better!!

The Izzie and Denny thing is weird. I liked Meredith and Cristina in this episode, and especially Alex. Poor guy; like he said he doesn't need any more crazy in his life. I was glad that Izzie didn't have much to do medical-wise this episode; she can keep it together relatively well so long as she isn't doing surgery, I think. But I have no idea what the Denny thing is supposed to be. It's got me intrigued but I hope it's not something stupid.
Someone pointed out to me, that George had only like five seconds of screen time. Sad.

Why does everyone think that Izzie has to leave/die if she has a tumour. Didn't the Chief have a tumour once? He just had sugery and went back to work. If Iz does have a tumour (and I'm not so sure she does) Derek will just take it out :)

my heart ached when Denny died. I still feel the grief that Izzie is feeling. I think the writer realized that the audience needed to see more of the relationship develop, before his demise. I think this is her way of giving us some closure, and allowing Izzie to have some real passion before his final departure. Bring it on!

I too am a Grey's loving male. I agree with you Kell, but after losing a father at a young age I can tell you that when you sense their presence, it involves nothing like the show portrayed. I think Marilyn is on to something with the developing of the Izzie-Denny relationship-but I agree with most on this site when I say they went a little too far. As far as this new Sadie character goes, I think she's an awful actress. They should give her a tumor, not Iz. Puppyperson, ditto: I miss George. The return of Izzie’s tumour? (Tv guide)
By Amber Dowling
2008-12-08
Major ‘L Word’ and ‘Grey’s death spoilers
Shonda Rhimes was playing with our heads. Or she was playing with Izzie’s, it seems. The Grey’s Anatomy creator and showrunner denied, denied, denied rumours of an impending Izzie tumour after actress Katherine Heigl pulled herself out of the Emmys race earlier this year, claiming there was insufficient material.
But when Izzie began having visions of (and lots of sex with) ghost Denny Duquette, fans did more than arch their eyebrows. Message boards, blogs and staff inboxes here at TVGuide.ca filled up with angry protestors wanting to know the deal.
Turns out, Izzie’s ghost is related to a looming illness, an unnamed medical condition similar to an aneurism. While Stevens won’t be belting out George Michael tunes like on Eli Stone, her increasing Denny-visions are a sign things are getting worse.
Entertainment Weekly reports ABC executives are putting pressure on Rhimes to reveal the condition to viewers soon before they permanently tune out.
Although we’re unsure whether this condition will result in Izzie’s death and relieve her from the show as per the actress’s wishes, Rhimes maintains the storyline was in the works with a happy ending from the get-go.
Of course, endings can change … just look at how long the network denied an Isaiah Washington exit. And we all know how that turned out.
You can't totally fault Heigl for wanting an exit. With these types of whacked-out storylines and a new place as the fifth-highest paid actress (behind Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz), things are looking up for Heigl.
‘L Word’ death?
Grey’s isn’t the only show potentially killing off one of its leads – Showtime’s The L Word is reportedly killing off one of the gals when it returns for its sixth and final season next year.
The network announced Jenny Schecter’s (Mia Kirshner) body is found in a swimming pool in the Jan. 18 episode, but that won’t be the last we see of the girl everyone loves to hate.
She’ll be making flashback appearances for the rest of the season, hopefully not in ghost form.
Guess this excludes Kirshner’s character from the pool of potential L Word spinoffs rumoured to happen once the show wraps.

Actually, Do Believe the Rumors That T.R. Knight Is Leaving 'Grey's'

posted: 9 MINUTES AGOcomments: 1filed under: TV NewsPrintShareText SizeAAA(Dec. 9) - So remember how we said that T.R. Knight wasn't leaving 'Grey's Anatomy'? Well, we were wrong. He is. Or at least, he wants to.
According to Michael Ausiello of EW, the actor is currently trying to get out of his contract with 'Grey's,' the show that turned him into a whiny, test-failing adulterer.
No More George? What Will Isaiah Washington Think?
Earlier, in response to to rumors that Knight, walked off set and never attends table readings because he knew he was getting written off the show, a rep for 'Anatomy' said that was untrue.
"T.R. has never walked off set in the middle of filming. He attended the table read today and will be shooting this week, like any other week of production," the rep tells US Magazine.
