We know that Burke loves Cristina, but it's nice to see just how much. It was cute watching him trying to choose a cake, making sure that Cristina liked it too. And Cristina, like I've been saying all along, hasn't changed as a professional - she still wants to be the best surgeon, but she also wants the best man: Preston Burke. The couch scene left me breathless. The chemisty that IW and SO have is incredible.
ITA, he as done a fabulous job this seaon, his talents should be rewarded. I, too, didn't realize that they submitted their own names. In fact, I heard that all the others submitted their names, which is funny. I like everyone on the show, but they are not all good actors. Seriously! If they lose IW, the show won't be the same, and will start to lose fans.
Oh God not again. Why, why would they make Burke have doubts. I love both Burke and Cristina equally, but if IW goes, I'm gone, too. I just couldn't watch without Burke/IW and Cristina/SO being together. I find it straight that the interns are at Burke and Cristina's apartment, and not Mer. Mer's house is much bigger.
The Chief and Addison dancing was really sweet. It was nice to see them both laughing and having a good time. They've had a rough time, too. Addison losing Derrek, and The Chief losing Adele and Ellis.
Lea, I trust that we're on the same side. We both want to see them as a married couple.
Remeber the episode where Cristina came home and Burke was in the kitchen cutting up chicken, making dinner for Cristina. She says somethng, then turns around and walks to the bedroom. She had that same look on her face that she had after Burke kissed her.
Also, the reason I think she will go through with the wedding and the marriage is because it's what she wants, and sometimes she does need that affirmation from others because she doesn't quite trust herself yet when it comes to matters of the heart. But she got the affirmation she needed from Ellis Grey, someone she highly respects as a surgeon. She doesn't have that kind of respect for Colin (by the way I'm glad he's gone). Elllis told Cristina she could have both if she tried hard enough, and Cristina was relieved because that's exactly what she wanted to hear.
And I agree, both IW and SO are the absolute best - phenomenal actors!
I don't see it as doubting herself, she was thinking about the person she use to be. The person Colin was taking about is gone; she's not that person who feels in order to be the best surgeon, that's the only think she can have in her life, but I understand you feeling that way. As you and I know, its not the first time it apppeared that the relationship would end. With everything they've been through, and all the close encounters of an ending, I've never had any doubts that they would stay together, and I still don't.
Burke and Cristina are stronger than ever. Everything Collin said about not being the same person is true. She's not that person who only wants surgeries to be a part of of life; she wants the man that loves her, too. She's not the selfish, uncaring person she was with Colin; she's a human being now that cares about her friends, and the most important thing in her life-Burke. Collin was a negative force and a bad influence on Crisinta. He played a part in her being selfish and uncaring. He didn't put doubts in her, she was just thinking of that person she use to me.
I'm looking forward to all of Burke and Cristina's scenes, hopfully more happy scenes than angst. However, I can take some angst as long as we can get a memorable happy ending. I hope that this is the last episode for Collin.
I was so surprised at TR, to hold on to such anger; it's not good. Sounds like something more deeply rooted than the incident. I really think he needs to talk to a professional.

I agree, Sandra Oh is a very talented and extremely intelligent actress, and I think the reason she and Isaiah Washington have so much chemistry together is because he too possess those same qualities; he's a very talented and highly intelligent actor.
It would be so disgusting if Cristina and Alex sleeps together, and so soapy having all the interns sleeping with each other. I can see George and Izzie or Alex and Izzie, but sleeping with Alex would be unrealistic. Burke and Cristina are the only stable relationship on the show. Not only that, I think the Cristina's character would be ruined. First, of all Cristina is not Mer, she doesn't drunk, get drunk and sleep with men, and Alex has already slept with Olivia and Izzie, it would just be too disgusting.
I think Callie will be pregnant, and she won't know if it's George or Sloan.
I agree, I don't see why he shouldn't be given an increase equal to PD. I can see him being put on probation, but this should not affect his salary increase. IW is a phenomenal actor and has done an exceptional job portraying Dr. Preston Burke, even PD admitted that during an interveiw. Isaiah has just as much to do with the show's popularity has PD, EP and SO. IW and SO, and CW are the only three that have won individual awards. The unfortunate incident didn't cause a decrease in the ratings. GA is more successfuly now than it was in Season 1 & 2, and the storyline between Burke and Cristina played a huge part in that. I have more friends who have just started watching GA because of Burke and Cristina.
Burke Backer, I applaud your dedication and loyalty to IW, and am right there with you when it comes to him. Now that the award shows are over, I just hope the cast can take some time to try to work things out and think about the great opportunity they've been given and have worked so hard to achieve. How many times will that happen for these actors - to be a part of a #1 show. The irony of the whole thing is that the show has brought people together, and yet it's done the opposite for the cast. I really hope they will work this out, at least to the point where we can continue to enjoy the show and root for our favorites, that being for me Burke and Cristina. And, I'm still looking forward to Burke and Cristina's wedding.
