The episode was so beautiful! I cried the whole time. I still want to see a Meredith and Derek wedding, hopefully next week. (Though did you hear in the preview Meredith's Oh no, I'm hoping it's nothing.) I loved it. Now I really want to try and get the musical score in the episode because it was so breath taking.
After watching this episode and the previews I'm thinking it may be Alex and Izzie getting married, though I really want a Merder wedding! I loved this episode, and Mark and Lexie are just so adorable! I am glad he went to dinner. I hate that this show will soon be on summer break.
This weeks episode looks amazing! I wonder if they are getting married in the season finale instead? Also this fight between the Chief and Meredith is so big she disinvites him to the wedding. (spoiler on Kristen dos Santos e-online)
Yes there was a lot George, though he's not my favorite I gotta say he kinda rocked. And MerDer oh yes they were adorable, there could always be more merder, but it was good!
I think in one of the Shonda podcasts she mentioned there were going to be 2 wedding dresses. Maybe Alex and Izzie have the church cermony and Derek and Meredith elope it seems more them. That's my hope anyway because I really want Derek and Meredith married! Can't wait for next week! new episode.
George refused to go up and visit Izzie when the others went up at the initial morning rounds. He was hurt and upset because she confided in Cristina and not him, so he goes to Callie for a case. He avoids her all day and Callie finds him smashing grafts because he was upset, she nailed it on the head it's because he's scared for her, he's upset that she told Cristina, (he made a point to say he asked what was wrong and she always said that she was fine.) and that he doesn't want to lose his best friend. She said they were going to go up to wait for her to get out of surgery because when they were married he slept with Izzie and that caused Callie to wish she was dead and that he owed her at least that. (I hope that all makes sense.)
Seriously one of the best episodes! Derek's proposal was the most amazing thing I have seen totally befitting of their relationship!!!! I am still holding out that they are the one's getting married this season though at this point it could just as easily be Izzie and Alex. Who by the way broke my heart. So did Owen and Cristina I love them together because they are so complicated and true. I think own needs to go to see a therapist and Cristina maybe needs to go with him from time to time. I hope next week is a new episode but I don' think it is. SO AMAZING!!! I LOVED IT!!!!
I hope it's Meredith and Derek getting married. Reasons why they get married so quickly are plentiful: they want Izzie in the wedding, planning a wedding helps Izzie keep her mind off of the painful treatments and procedures and brings a bit of joy... Plus that's surprising given Meredith's past history- she tends to run (shut down) when faced with permanence and BIG steps (heck even relatively small ones.) but now she's whole and healed, she's sticking around, standing firm believing in a future. And with Izzie having a life threatening illness it makes one take a step back a take stock of their life, what's important. In the end if you can make it through the crap that Derek and Meredith have each and together gone through and still love each other and can't be without the other in the long run than get married! So my pick, if I had a say would be for them, plus I really don't see Meredith as the plan a big wedding that takes months and months type.
This episode was intense. I felt so bad for Derek in the OR because you knew he was just cracking, which I think does lead back to what Meredith said about the trial patients, plus his own comment about there being too much death a few episodes back and than the serial killer all of that than being called a murderer. It was too much for him, and unfortunately Mark came in at the wrong time I feel bad for him too. I wonder what will happen, obviously a reprimand of some sorts nothing to drastic I hope. Plus I am still waiting for an engagement though who knows maybe it will be Cristina and Owen first. I do love how supportive Meredith is. And I hope a lighter happier Derek comes back.
I have to agree the cross over is not at all what I thought. I am not really enjoying it though I have liked the look into Derek's past, and I like that Mark really does care for Lexie. Though the little to no screen time for both was awful. I am loving Cristina and Owen. "I don't feel like a ghost only when you look at me, you see me." so beautiful. Derek has seemed so angry this episode, I just want him and Meredith to get engaged. I am thinking that the fight with Derek and Mark has to do with Lexie and with Derek being so angry recently I think that may be the catalyst.
I liked the episode. It is going to be a long week to wait for the next one. Tonight as much as I loved Meredith and Derek, Cristina and Owen took the cake. At the end with her reading and him sleeping on her had to be one of the sweetest scenes in Grey's history. I loved that side of her. A bit sad of the lack of Mark and Lexie From the preview pics I thought they were going to show them at the bar. I guess that's next week. I hope Mark does the right thing and goes public. We'll see.
Okay the Fiance bit is amazing!!!!!! I love Addison and I love Mark, but not together! That ship has sailed and to be honest I really love Mark and Lexie and I would like to see what happens to Addison and the OBGYN doc. So I hope it's just flirting and that it goes no where!!!!
Meredith and Derek was my favorite scene of this entire season so far. In fact it's now in my top three! I loved it, it made me melt. This is more than just classic Meredith and Derek it was a perfect moment. At the beginning of the season they were saying that they were raising the bar with Grey's this year, well I feel that this scene did that, because there was communication, and no grudges were held for snippy behavior at the hospital and there was understanding, and love. sigh, it was amazing!!!
The dancing scene was by far amazing!!!! Derek did it for Meredith, because he asked her what Christina would do in this situation, and she said dance it out. SO he untucks his shirt and starts to move. It was such a wonderful scene for them.
I love when George and Meredith are in the elevator trying to be each other's person it was great! (McDreamy did the McNasty with McHottie?! That McBastard!)
I also loved him in season 2 when Bailey was giving birth.
While I was never hard core George and this season he hasn't been in it much. So I will miss him, but if TR wants to move on let him. (As long as it's not Patrick Dempsey!!!!)
