If your fav character, Mer was getting dissed months worth of screentime, I know I would not keep broadcasting to you over and over again that I think George is more worthy of the screentime than Mer.
Anyway, I hope you see what I mean. You are starting arguments by expressing that opinion b/c George fans have already been hurting A LOT. As a Greys fan, you MUST see that George is essential to the show as one of the original 5, even if maybe he's not in the ballpark of being your favorite? and even if you don't, please respect us George fans and the fact that we have been battered by months of little screentime and nasty rumors circulating!
Amanda-- I get what your saying, I do. For that, I want to give Alex a break-- I know why he's guarded and I've always felt for him. But his being guarded is making things worse. And I don't think Izzie's answering him when he asks her what's going on with him b/c he asks with such attitude and the one time she confided in him, he dismissed what she was saying like she was having a little kid's dream about their dead grandma. Doesn't exactly make it easy for her to confide in him. Plus, I think she's in a state of denial right now. (normal response to traumatic stuff). I love Alex. I really do. And I think when he knows what's wrong or has someone helping him to help her, he'll be there for her. But all these still makes me think they aren't good together as a couple.

Sounded like you were making a statement about George not being as worthy of screentime allotments then Mer, which has been your typical argument lately.

The window into Der's past was really neat. Addie being back is always great. You guys did well here. There was this combination of feeling really interested in knowing what Der was like before, of knowing what he and Addie started like, but at the same time there was this tugging feeling like it was all just not right anymore. Like you described-- looking at an old photograph of yourself and friends years ago. This sweet, sad nostalgic feeling, but also a feeling like you don't even want to be that person anymore. Beautifully portrayed.
Love Addie. Having her back was bittersweet. I love her, but also look forward to her going back to LA so MerDer can move on with their new life together!
#3 I like the scene with Alex talking to Addie. I liked that Alex could show his true self with Addie. I really do love Alex and understand where he's coming from in assuming Izzie's just going crazy (hello? b/c everyone in his life has gone to the coo-coo's nest!) BUT this shows EXACTLY what I've thought all around-- Alex is genuinely not enough for Izzie. He wasn't when Denny was. He wasn't after Denny was gone (he was a good friend to her at moments, but he is just not consistent) and he still isn't. Instead of worrying about what's wrong w/ her, he's worrying that he's gonna have to deal w/ another crazy chic and how that would affect him. Self-absorbed as ever. And he's a doc-- her motor skill issues should definitely be tipping him off that there could be a physiological issue- maybe not just psychological. At least enough to ask someone for advice about what's going on with her. He's just not taking care of her enough. I can't wait for George to step in and say "enough is enough". She didn't get much this time b/c it was more about Der's past and who Der is. Did you read the writer's blog? If not, read it. It will make you feel better about the future of MerDer.

Funny, but with a lot of depth. I have watched PP off and on, but today at SGH I finally saw Sam. He was great. And Bailey, as always, was fantastic!
#5 - PP's post-partum story. I cried. After my second child was born, I had what my doc's called a "very bad" case of post partum depression. Not to the point of psychosis or hurting my child, but all the emotional parts and the guilt. I did the same thing when I sought help from medical professionals-- saying over and over that I loved my son. I was half trying to convince myself. I was so sleep deprived and so anxious that I couldn't sleep when I had the opportunity, just like this patient. It was SO painful. B/f I had this I always thought that the whole post-partum diagnosis was just bogus. It is SO NOT! Kudos to the PP writers here-- you did this justice. To the point where I was bawling!
#6 - I have to add Hunt in here. Although, he makes me hold my breath. In a good way. But I am still just watching and waiting to see this all unfold. So far so good. I just want to make sure that Shonda and writers do it justice-- not just from the emotional point of view (which is hard enough to understand and capture), but also from respecting our soldiers for the amazing thing that they are-- our freedom fighters (even though they very typically are so humble and don't want to be called heroes). So far, so good. But still holding my breath. This storyline is really advancing Cristina's character-- she is growing. I am enjoying that.
OK, I'm sure there's still more. But those are the biggies for me.

Oh, but something did happen that she was responsible for-- O'Malley provided a little forshadowing that he doesn't realize that she is a danger to the patients-- she already is costing Izzie Stevens valuable days in fighting a life-threatening disease that is unknown right now, when she messed up the blood work/test results.

Thank you, Eric Dane. Until the boss says it's going down, then it's just not happening. Rumors, people. Rumors. James Pickens Jr. probably was asked to comment about TR and Katie and bits and pieces of what he said were misconstrued in a way that made it seem that he was saying TR and Katie were definitely leaving. I have said this elsewhere, but I will repeat again, it was US Weekly Mag. that initially "interviewed" JPJr. and supposedly on the 7th. So, if he had really flat out said that TR and Katie were definitely leaving, why did this take until Tues afternoon to come out? They are twisting his words. Or maybe he did say something like that and it's all a publicity stunt. Either way, I refuse to believe until something official comes from ABC, Shonda, KH or TR.
And a message for Shonda, KH & TR-- Greys needs George and Izzie. PERIOD. We really love George & Izzie.

T.R. Knight is a fabulous actor. Katherine Heigl is very good too. These two are VERY talented. Obviously they have both been unhappy and have had some issues and have spoken out about them, each in their own way. George is my favorite Greys character. He and Izzie are INDESPENSABLE. Suppose that what James Pickens Jr. has said, maybe parts of it were taken out of context? Supposedly he said these things last w/e (2/7/09 - US Weekly Mag), how come it is just NOW being reported? This has been such a HOT issue, that it would seem these comments would have leaked first thing Monday morning. I REFUSE to believe ANYTHING until it comes from ABC and TR and KH themselves. As for the fans who say they can do w/o them? I really don't understand that at all. WE NEED GEORGE & IZZIE!!!
