    I'm sure Shonda's writing team will be allowed to milk it rather than grow it because they are clearly simplistic emotionally. Sorry but I just feel very jerked around. The series started with fun, sophistication and wit. The chemistry between Dempsey and Pompeo made it great. Last season & this season so far leaves something to be desired.

    I want to sign the petition. I've stopped watching again. There was a ray of hope on the 1st show of the season - some of the wit & fun returned but alas it went back to the dreary adolescent soap opera this season like the last.

    Your arrogance - to think viewers with a brain would put up with more than 3 tears of this crap for Pompeo/Dempsey -- the only classy
    Hepburn/Grant ish chemistry you have going. What's the matter - can't you think of anything ELSE to manipulate to keep people watching?pathetic.

    Dear Shonda, Producers, and Writers at Grey's,
    You are using the same old plot twists and pretending they are new-- patrticularily with the Dempsey/Pompero characters. Too bad you guys are not smart enough to get this relationship to grow in the plot line and really capitalize further on the amazing screen chemistry between these two. I dare you to take things to the next level and let them be in a solid relationship with equally fast/witty/wise dialogue and some new obstacles . Same old same old won't get you through another season and lead to restored glory. The rest of the cast is wonderful but without them (Pompeo/Dempsey) you don't have the sparkle and all the good writing and acting in the world will not replace it. Who are you kidding? Yourselves?

    I hope Shonda & the writers REALLY move on to a maturing and now humorously bumpy yet solid relationship between Meredith and Derek (code for lighten up) and find some new challenges worthy of the Dempsey/Pompeo on screen chemistry (which you cannot buy or replace) and STOP jerking around their audience in the same old getting older way AND move on to the NUMEROUS other couples to invent and muck around with. Please please please Shonda, return to the fabulous writing that drove season one and two. Good riddance to Isaiah Washington for whatever he did or did not doâ€" if he goes on another talk show why doesn't Grey's send him a gold plated shovel- it could make it all less boring and self serving. And don't forget the jury is still out on Grey's future…the last half of season four was NOT up to earlier standards.
    Break a leg to all at Grey's this fall.

    Your condescension is a cheap tactic, particularly when you have no idea who you are communicating with on the web. Some of us are having a dialogue about quality television writing.
    You are the kind audience members that let Shonda & the writers get away with dumbing GA down with their crappy scripts over the last half of season 3. Oh, and by the way, some of us know that the GA couples are characters written for actors to play.

    As just one of the thousands that were insulted by the quality of the writing last season, I have all but given up on Shonda and her team of flash in the pan dramatists. Too bad too - some amazing acting talent and ensemble cast chemistry. I'm not against new characters if Shonda et all writers can get over themselves and try to pull this debacle out of

    Great news about guests - Vereen & Hermann are the best.
    Have Shonda & the writers figured out the ensemble show works best when the direct chemistry between Pompeo & Dempsey flourishes? They are the central reason many of us got hooked on GA. Their relationship at the end Season 3 was a significant turn off and I'm not alone in that opinion. The writers were out of their depth on this too.
    I do have faith Sandra Oh will continue to be given great material because she is great.
    The plot developments end of S3 for KH, THK, and SR were ridiculous and hope it gets turned around fast.
    Hope the new cast members bring as much to the series as the current cast does.
    With the recent news I'm encouraged enough to perhaps try to get over the debacle scripts at the end of last season and think positively enough to at least give Season 4 a chance.

    Shonda should forget about all of the inside "family" crap and FOCUS on getting the series back on track. I'm sure her "professionals" would prefer better writing than to have her "family" support and press spin. And by the way, "dark" was not the problem. "Dark" can be good. She just did not pull it off. Her viewers are not as stupid as she seems to believe. The ending episodes of Season 4 suffered from bad writing, bad character development and badly conceived plot twists. Seriously.

    what a trooper - Dempsey is having a "bad car day" - forgetabout bad hair day. The teammates at Hypersport went the distance this morning despite a flat tire, no breaks, a vibration, and running out gas on the last lap. ARRRRRRRRG.
    We should send good karma to the Hypersport Team Mustangs for the next race. These guys are good drivers.

    The last part of your season 3 was a big bore/snore of not so great melodramatic writing.
    Please please please give your cast members Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo material worthy of their talent, skill, and chemistry.
    As you know, drama and romantic comedy can live together. Please get back to it and drop your MULTI -SIMULTANEOUS cheap plot twist angst.
    PS noticed no writing Emmy nominations for Grey's - what a surprise...

    I hated the end of last season. Shonda's cliffhanger was an off the cliff downer. The George & Izzie chapter was awful - not to mention unbelievable on any level. And as for the possibility of Derek hooking up with Meredith's half sister - what a slimy story idea! I hope the Lexie character gets dealt a better hand than that.
    Do they want us to hate everyone because that is where these dopey faux plot turns are taking me. I will not buy the Season 3 DVD. Shame on all you Grey's writers and producers. YOU MAY NOT HAVE IT ALL MUCH LONGER. I'm going to start watching Dempsey's car races and look forward Pompeo et all in the cast in other projects. At least that's something to look forward to. My plan this fall is to read the GA reviews before tuning in. You lost me for now.
