    Great point of views of B/C I really do like them as well. I almost like everyone on the show but Izzie, Mark, Callie and George are not my preferred characters.
    Izzie because she is so self content ans I hated her love story with Dennis so unreal.
    Mark because he is a manwhore (know too many like him).
    Callie is not my type of person never was never will.
    George too girly in his reactions and over sensitive.
    I probably will stop watching the show with the same intensity if Burke should leave the show. My passion has been going downhill since the ferry accidents I hate 3 parts episode I feel, like I said before, the victim of a manipulator and "that" guys I will never accept anymore. Next time that there are 2 or 3 part episodes I will wait to watch all of them together instead of having sleepless nights in Brussels......

    Any way to find out for how long Pickens signed the contract with GA? I know that Kate Burton is very buzzy and probably does not have time free to dedicate long hours to GA anymore. I can't take the waiting anymore. On a french forum they analyzed every picture of the promos this gives you an idea on what an impact this show has. Also I can't understand why nobody knows how long the break will last some say 2 months this does not seem reasonable. Can anyone explain to me why there are breaks (except for the holiday season of course that I understand) we don't have that in Europe except for the summer time. Thanks

    I know she did not play a very big role but what about the chiefs niece could she be the one that dies? Just a thought that crossed my minds.
    As for those of you who misses sex scenes with Mer/Der and Burke/Cristina give me a break is that all that you care about? I like it better when it is all "subtle suggestive guessing" that's when it's really hot.
    What are we going to talk about if there is a 3 weeks breaK?????

    Success changes people and because they have power they start to manipulate and I hate that. Shonda is no exception like said before she must have a kick just reading all our comments. She must be dark and twisty to make most of us going out of our minds episode after episode. Personally I have watched the 2 last episodes only twice and before it would be almost daily till next would come out. I know she can't get rid of Meredith and from an interview Ellen Pompeo gave she mentioned that she worked late the day before on a scene with Patrick Dempsey and that she refuses to do other movies whilst doing GA. But still we are the ones who keep the show alive and if we decide to boycott it then what? I never imagine a show would have such an impact on me like writing comments, searching for spoiler, joining forums, downloading the latest episode, watching it again on our local television and taping them and last but not least buying the DVD's. What happened to me I retired 3 years ago and look at me now isn't this pathetic!!!! At 60 ....no one in my family knows this if they should they would probably have me see a shrink!!!!!

    Who knows how long the break will take some forums talk about 6 weeks? I have seen on CTV program list that next week there is no GA does that mean that episode 17 will not be on before those 6 weeks?

    If Meredith disappears from the show I will be cured from my Grey's Anatomy addiction that's for sure. Already that I did not really like the last episode. Could not even finish the third time I watched. So why bring back Denny Duquette? Does success change writers good sense? I never liked Denny anyway and I am not a fan of Izzie anymore as well. Sounds very blasé I know.

    I know that over here as we have cable TV they have a way to count on a channels popularity and with this information they remove the channel or not!!

    Belgium is a small country and in 1969 when I was staying for 1 year in the US people didn't know where Belgium was!!! Yes technology is awesome only negative point is when it is not used in a "sane" way. It ruined my sister marriage she is on the PC almost 24/7.
    I told a friend who works in cardiac devices that GA S3 was starting here and within the minute she passed the message to the whole company. Seems that everyone is thrilled. Even if I have already the episodes I will watch again and tape again till S3 comes out on DVD.
    Do you know by any chance how many episodes we will have this season and when they will have a break like in 3 weeks or so?
    The actors are great and I don't understand why it took so long to discover them, I like it when PD said thank you for a second chance not many actors will have the guts to recognize that.
    I do watch a bit more TV than you do like "All Saints" an Australian serie http://www.australiantelevision.net/as/allsaints.html
    with a lot of similarities with GA and some CSI. I am catching up for all the years when I did not have time thats part of the pleasure of retiring young!!!

    Thanks Burke Backer and I do agree with what you say about this show. This is the first time I am soooo hooked I guess it is because the storyline is so real. It brings up a lot of memories. The only time I was hooked is when I was 13 (47 years ago) it was a naive serie on French television that only lasted for a few months and I was so sad when it ended I was wondering how I would survive. Now for GA I have the DVD's. They are starting season 3 in Belgium on Feb. 15 and it makes a lot of people happy. Wonder if I we will ever have an explanation on the rate calculating.

    I have been wondering for a long time when they are calculating the viewing rates do they have a way to take into account TIVO's and people who tape the show. When I have 2 of my favourite shows at the same time I tape one and watch the other like many of us do.
