Have you read Madame Rhimes Grey Matter? She is so self sufficient. She must have a problem with men and relationships and a very twisted mind and no respect for the viewers. She did such a good job the first 2 seasons but not for S3. She was told not to push her luck on most of the forums but did she listen of course not and now she will be so surprised that the audience rates will drop week after week. Is there a way to know if IW is leaving the show? If so that's another reason to give up on GA "the" new soap opera from ABC.
I agree with Adam it is self-destruction. Pathetically soapy!! Not a very smart move from Shonda. Might as well go back watching "The bold and the beautiful" at least you know it is crap or for the fun watch "Runaway Bride". I won't buy S3 until it is on budget price that's a fact. Sad sad sad for once we had a good show it had to be ruined by the producers. I can't imagine the actors are happy with the fact that they are embarked in this for another season.
I have a very close friend that didn't come out for 7 years and one day he invited me and another lady friend to a restaurant and said I need to tell you something. He started very embarrassed and we ladies encouraged him with our smiles and suddenly he said you knew? We said yes. How long have you known this? Years. Suddenly we had a very confident person in front of us who finally opened up about his life. He did call us names (but gently) because we never said anything. We are still very close it didn't change a thing.

Why do I have the feeling that Mrs Rhimes does not care about us and our comments because she says "Where we are going might make you shake your fists to the heavens and scream" I have the feeling that the cliffhanger will be of course Mer/Der splitting up. Like I said before if this is the case I am done with Grey's Anatomy.

The elevator scenes are no invention from Shonda for me she copied it from the Australian serie "All Saints" http://www.australiantelevision.net/as/allsaints.html who started 10 years ago where elevators scenes have been recurrent on that show. To me GA and All Saints have a lot of similarities. Any Aussie that agrees? I haven't been able to watch it but read the resume on a fan-site and I am in no hurry to get it. What is going on? For me Shonda wants to do HARA-KIRI with GA. She has no respect for the viewers, this always happens with that type of creators we make them rich and then they have no respect for their fans. Well it is known that real love only lasts for 3 years!!!
Great pictures of Mer/Der and Burke let's hope we get some dreamy scenes instead of those complicated situations they have been feeding us all season. Shonda must be a very dark and twisty person.

Burke Backer I like the way you analyze the episodes it makes me look at it in a different way. I was heartbroken because things are so complicated with Mer/Der and is so tiring at first because I want romance, moonlight and serenades. But then I read your post and I realize you are probably right. Sometimes one wants to see on screen something different than daily life. Izzie like usual worked on my nerves I have been watching S1 and S2 over again and she is always crying and I hate people who are crybabies. (I like her with the chinese girl and the guy with the magazine pictures and a lot of scenes in S1 also with Alex definitely hate the Denny thing).
I hope they keep the whole ensemble for next season"s" even if I am not crazy about some characters they have enchanted us for the last 3 years so Shonda listen to the voice of the viewers.......
Izzie is always so dramatic I don't like her anymore. She was much better in S1. The story about the daughter is so unreal come on and then the leukemia and the transplant thing. Give me a break are we watching "the bold and the beautiful" or "the young and the restless"?
And I know a couple that have been married for 20 years and he was an attending and she was an intern and they did it in the on-call room...... she has been one of my closest friends for the last 25 years so I was in the secret. But this is Europe and this would of course never happen in the US!!!
I have the same feeling why can't Shonda just stick to GA they are an ensemble and what about the rumor that Sara Ramirez did not sign for a complete season 4. GA is "comfortable" for us fan don't ruin it please Shonda you have already enough on your plate and according to a pol season 3 is not the best season. In french we say you can't have the butter, the money of the butter and the smile of the milklady...... (le beurre, l'argent du beurre et le sourire de la crèmière) in other words don't push your luck.

As for Mark rope dancing I have read that they keep that for the Season 3 DVD's unaired scenes or uncut whatever. UNCUT is only for the US here in Europe they are put in the category unaired scenes. Wonder why they just can't make it all the same and US DVD are not readable on our DVD players. And the price!!!! Season 2 was in 2 parts with 2 monts between issuing them for a total 77$ compared to the US version at 43,90$ on ABC store initial full price was 59,95$ lucky for us that the dollar is low...... can't imagine what they will charge us next time. Well they know that once you are addicted the price doesn't count.
