  1. Jeffrey Dean Morgan to Appear on at Least Five Episodes

Hey! Don't forget "Dallas" brought back J.R. Grey's Anatomy could certainly bring back Denny.

    Ummm...

I'm really thinking its the brain tumor though. Either she's seeing things or she's already comatose and dreaming. She'll have surgery and wake up to Alex who's going to realize how much she means to him. He'll take care of her - they may throw in some memory loss - TA DA - happily ever after.
    ...or Izzie dies.

For the "Sixth Sense" people saying Izzie is already dead - GIVE ME A BREAK!! More than just Karev noticed Izzie. Dr. Dixon acknowledged her presence multiple times, Bailey gave her that look when she spoke about the surgery. They can all see her. She's not dead already and back as a ghost.
  2. Memorable Grey's Anatomy Scenes: The End of Callica

    4ccsofgreys,

Multiple characters, including Derek and the chief, have allowed their personal lives to affect their work lives. Sure, Hahn was rough around the edges, but so was Addison when she first came on the show. Hahn didn't really have much of a chance to settle in a develop, but I was starting to see glimpses of a good person here and there.

Her crap to Callie about not being bisexual - just bad writing.

I must again say that I HATE Shonda's statement about how Callie is the lesbian on the show. Umm, Callie is BISEXUAL, which you have, on more than one occassion, made very clear to us! While I think its great that Callie will spend time "mourning" Hahn, I must say that if Callie's character goes back to men, never has another female partner, or its just plain never mentioned again that she was "bisexual" - to me Callie's bisexuality has just become and experimentation.
  3. Brooke Smith Fired From Grey's Anatomy

Where did ABC's cajones disappear to?

Whats amatter? Did the scary Christian Coalition get all pissy?
  4. Brooke Smith Fired From Grey's Anatomy

    Umm, Shonda's statement is bull!

First of all, Callie is not a lesbian - she's bisexual.

Secondly, ABC's "cold feet" are starting to seem more like homophobia - especially now that Melissa George's character will no longer be lesbian/bisexual.
  5. Melissa George Discusses Grey's Anatomy Character, Sadie

    fan of the show

I don't think the world is ready for you to be writing TV shows. I don't even know what to think, plus I'm delirious thanks to school and lack of sleep, all I can do is laugh!

    :) Thanks for the chuckle.
  6. Sadie and Meredith

    What makes it not possible?
  7. Melissa George Discusses Grey's Anatomy Character, Sadie

My guess Haley, is that Sadie will come in and try to be all buddy buddy with Mer and remind her of all the good times they had. She'll single Meredith out from Derek and Cristina (hilarity will ensue because Derek and Cristina will have to team up to get Meredith back instead of fighting over her between themselves). Anyways, there will be lots of innuendo, but really it will turn out to be the normal crazy college girl stuff and *maybe* one drunken kiss. It meant nothing to Mer, but Sadie has been holding onto that for the past however many years and she's come to confess her undying love for Meredith. Mer will of course pick Derek because the kiss that she barely remembers was just a crazy drunk night and Sadie will move on to either Callie or Erica.
  8. Melissa George Discusses Grey's Anatomy Character, Sadie

Umm, color me confused! Have I missed something? I thought Melissa said we don't get to see what happened. What are you talking about fan of the show?
  9. Round Table: "There's No 'I' in Team"

    Who Maria??
  10. Melissa George Discusses Grey's Anatomy Character, Sadie

Get over it Sherri. The gay fans of the show have watched 4 seasons of nothing but the straight lovin - none of them complained! Considering that 10% of any given population is a member of the GLBTQ community, its unrealistic to think that there isn't a single GLBTQ character on the show. So they have one lesbian couple. No big deal. As far as Meredith experimenting in college - ummm, thats not unbelievable. Lots of girls experimented with other girls in college. I can imagine it was an act of defiance against her mother - or something like that.

Sexuality is rarely so cut and dry as many would like it to be. It usually lies somewhere in between.
  11. Round Table: "There's No 'I' in Team"

First of all, who cares if people comment more than once?! People do it all the time. And I have yet to see anyone post twice in this thread.

Second of all, who died and made you the Comment God?!
  12. Round Table: "There's No 'I' in Team"

I agree with you that the "best friends should stay best friends" comment is off the mark. The best relationship I ever had was with someone I considered to be a close friend. Unfortunately, the relationship ended and with it went the friendship. For some people, the chance of that happening isn't worth the risk.

Perhaps its not that the writers are ignoring Gizzie and their friendship, but that its not feasable for that story line to continue in the same manner. Its character development. George moved out and he failed his exam and things didn't work out with Izzie! Talk about awkward! Suddenly your once equals are your superiors? Its not unreasonable to assume that, with the exception of Meredith, the rest of the gang isn't going to be seeing a lot of George. The only ended relationships that turned into friendships for me required a time of separation. Perhaps these two need to be apart for a while to fully appreciate the friendship they had. Perhaps in the end they will be best friends again!

After refusing to kick out her roommates Mer asked Derek if he still loved her, which apparently Ellen had a problem with. She didn't want the scene to be portrayed as a woman needing a mans approval for love. The writer had something totally different in mind.

Maybe the writers have a plan for Alex and Izzie and we just can't see it yet. Maybe they aren't promoting an abusive relationship. I've stayed in my fair share of relationships and friendships because I DO care - A LOT - about the other person. Its hard to just walk away from someone you care about, and you just keep thinking to yourself, "Tomorrow it will get better - it HAS to." Before you know it tomorrow has turned into months of yesterdays and nothing is better and you wake up one day and you just ... leave, and never look back. Izzie isn't there yet because Alex keeps showing her glimpses of being a good person, but he won't be able to keep up both personas for long. So one persona will eventually win out or Izzie is going to wake up one day and leave or both. Sure the relationship is abusive, the interesting part is how she's going to deal with it.

Cut the writers some slack. Give them time to develop these characters and follow these storylines. You can't complain that characters show no growth or are all over the place and then bail on the show after a handful of episodes because the characters are changing slowly. I personally love that the writers are finally taking their time and developing both characters and storylines.
  13. Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Not One, But Several Kisses

rentaholic07 - Being gay is part of who I am. Its not a choice in my opinion. If you hate "the choice" as you call it - then you hate me too.

Kenyatta - I don't think they'll make Callie gay. I think she's going to question. "Omg, everything is in the pot right now as far as guys go! And I do kind of like Erica, but what kind of like is it? Am I gay?" At most she's going to be bisexual. Its actually an interesting storyline if you think about it like that.

    Wow - Very well put!

RH - I love your comment.

Jane - How can you have such an issue with two guys kissing and call it smut and flith? But apparently, since you JUST stopped being a fan - its okay that they all but show all the straight people having sex.

    Lindsay - I love your math! ;)

    Holly Zeh - Excellent point!

Everyone thats saying they're sick of seeing two people of the same gender make out - well, lets just say if I came on the board and started saying I was so sick of all the breeders making out, I would get stoned to death. Its a double standard and its stupid. Everyone's entitled to their opinions mind you, and true tolerence and open-mindedness requires one to accept homophobic comments and allow them, so to speak. I guess thats why I'm not truely tolerent and open-minded.

As for Alex/Izzie - Where do you guys see their chemistry anymore? I don't!

MerDer - I'm a huge fan! Their my favorite by far. I want them together, but I don't think they'll have the lean in kiss. In fact, I feel like they're rushing them to get them back together.

Hallie (Callie/Hahn) - LOVE THEM! Love how real it feels. Its so well written and so well acted. I mean, look past your homophobia for a minute and really think about it. Callie is questioning and confused! She's acting like half of the people that come out - SCARED AS HECK! No matter what happens with Hallie though, Hahn is gay! Very gay! Complete and total les! Hallie won't last, but it won't be the last time that Erica Hahn's name is used with another female's to create the couple title!

    George/Bailey - Give me a break!

Bailey/Cheif - I must have missed this chemistry too! I see them as more father/daughter then lovers.

    Can't wait for Thursday!
  14. Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: An Unforgettable Kiss

I'm gonna go with it being a Hallie kiss (Callie and Hahn)!!!

A lot of people wouldn't see that coming!
