I...don't understand why people want Burke back so much. I mean, he was an okay character, but... I don't know what it is. I just don't see how he was special or anything. Him and Cristina? They were fine. But I think Cristina and Hunt have a better connection. Show died when they thought they can just dump IW and move on. The show has never been as good as way back season 1 and 2. That jerk TRK had his public and profesional life made when he played the boo hoo gay card and he should kiss IW's feet for becoming greater than the Gray's show with his great ' real'life' tearjerking acting. Show is dead since IW was treated like he is some Atttila the Hun all for some dumb word that noone even would have noticed had TRK not capitalised on. TRK ruined the show and I think now he's taking his fans with him when he leaves the show. People may just like to watch it again if that jinx takes off.

Dr. Burke needs to be brought back. Those that live in glass houses should not throw stones. He was wrong, but can't we just forgive and move on. The show needs a strong, confident male figure, and that's what Dr. Burke was on that show. It would be very easy to have Dr. Burke brought in to save George or for some other medical emergency. Why can't he have another chance, and see how the ratings go? If he's brought back in and the ratings soar (which I think they will), have the Chief offer him his position back even if it's on a trial basis.

I definetly feel that the character of Preston Burke was really good, and was an asset to the show! Not to say that the character of Owen is not good, but Dr. Burke should definetly be brought back! Plus bringing Issah back would definetly give the show some twist and sparks, which would make the show even better! And of course, as many people wouldlike to see, Dr. Yang and Dr. Burke re-unite because they were a good couple, and things seemed to have a crappy unfinished ending between them!

I have been hooked onto Grey's anatomy ONLY because of Burke. He has got something that a McDreamy or a McSteamy can only aspire for. His character might not be an exactly 'amiable' one but neither was Christina's. Probably that's why they seemed so perfect fro each other. I was thoroughly disappointed when Burke just left! I mean all of a sudden....just like that. Isiah Washington brought this complex character to life by bringing out the integrity and strength as well as the flaws and vulnerability. He was just plain wonderful. The chemistry between Yang and Burke just blew me away. Both very strong and simultaneously complementing and contrasting each other. I will miss his character for sure. The other characters are interesting but Burke was THE guy. BIG LOSS for the serial.

I think the show is great! I think the comment Burke made was not nice but obviously correct. Secondly, the other actors also carry this show. Burke would make for some interesting writing and so many other things can happen. Hell lets bring him back and let our head nurse, handle that....just a thought.
