Grey's Anatomy Spoilers (Page 9)

Dr. Bailey to Pinch-Hit as Episode 11 Narrator

There's no new episode tonight, but Michael Ausiello of TV Guide reports an interesting Grey's Anatomy spoiler pertaining to Episode 11 of Season Four.

Earlier this week, we posted an article about the use of voiceover narration on Grey's Anatomy and other shows. As we know, Meredith Grey does the honors, with a few notable exceptions. One of which is coming up in Episode 11.

The new narrator for this episode is not Callie, as some speculated earlier in the week. It is Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), and there's a reason behind her filling in for Meredith â€" and as you might expect, it isn't a pretty reason.

Tough Love

Does something serious happen to Dr. Bailey? Ausiello writes:

"Physically? No. Emotionally? Yes. Let's just say that random scene last week of Bailey at home with her husband and kid will make more sense when Episode 11 airs."

The conclusion of last week's Thanksgiving Day episode, "Crash Into Me, Part II," airs next week, December 6. That episode will be Episode 10 of Season 4. The week after that, December 13, "Lay Your Hands On Me" (Episode 11) will air.

Guest Star News: Lauren Stamile, Josh Jackson

Kristin Veitch of E! Online reports that nurse Rose (Lauren Stamile) and Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) are definitely heading in a romantic direction in upcoming episodes. Rumor has it that Rose/Lauren is sticking around until the last episode before the strike â€" Episode 11 â€" and she'll be an increasingly bigger part of the plot, as Derek even calls on Rose to help save a surgery.

For those of you rooting for Meredith and Derek, the good news is that this new "McThorny" romance with Lauren Stamile's character becomes a thorn in Mer's side â€" she may just realize how very badly she wants a McDreamy ending. The bad news? According to sources, she might realize that a little too late.

In other guest star news, the Writers Guild of America strike is apparently going to nix Joshua Jackson's appearance on Grey's Anatomy. Producers are hoping they can figure out another slot for the former Dawson's Creek star after the strike is put to rest, but that's contingent on his schedule. Stay tuned.

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers, News & Gossip

The sometime Grey's Anatomy spoiler aficionado, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide, is back at it with a spate of potentially juicy gossip. Here's what he has to say...

Question: My DVR broke and I need some very juicy Grey's Anatomy gossip to get over the pain.
Ausiello: Tomorrow night, two characters who have never been romantically linked will have sex... and Meredith will walk in on them! Any guesses?

Question: Are they going do be doing anything with McSteamy's storyline on Grey's Anatomy anytime soon? A new love interest possibly?
Ausiello: Call me crazy, but I have a hunch that Mark Sloan is the mystery doc Brooke Smith said would be crushing on Dr. Hahn in a future episode.

Question: Last Thursday's Grey's Anatomy, "Haunt You Every Day," was the best episode of the season so far! Was Brooke Smith (Dr. Erica Hahn) the guest star promoted to series regular you were referring to earlier this year?
Ausiello: She sure was.

A Rare Smile

Question: This George and Izzie thing is getting gross. When will it end?
Ausiello: Certainly not tomorrow night, when the two of them decide to have sex for the first time without being drunk. Unfortunately for them ... but fortunately for us ... an obstacle stands in their way. Hint: Removing the obstacle requires a sharp object that can be found at your local CVS.

Question: You said Lauren Stamile would be Derek's new love interest, but I haven't seen any other Grey's Anatomy spoilers to support this.
Ausiello: Are you fact-checking my stories? In any event, there's no need to vet my Stamile item; she's definitely coming in as a love interest for Patrick Dempsey. In fact, their first date is scheduled for November 15.

Grey's Anatomy Spoiler Watch: More MerDer Trouble?

E! Online columnist Kristin Veitch dishes a little on the upcoming guest star that poses potential problems for Derek and Meredith. This doesn't reveal a whole lot, so no real spoilers here. Just more MerDer hesitation and conflict. Will it ever end? Or will this finally help lead TV's favorite couple to a better end?

MerDer Trouble?

Question: Any word on Meredith Grey and Derek Shepherd? I'm so tired of the back and forth. Can they just get together or break up for good?

Answer: Now, what fun would that be?! Trust me, I feel your pain, but this is TV, and in the spirit of Sam & Diane / Ross & Rachel / Kristin & Stamos, things will get more complicated before they get any easier.

Sources confirm to me that Lauren Stamile is most definitely a new love interest for Derek (Patrick Dempsey), and she'll be sticking around for a while. I'm told she's pretty much the anti-Meredith (all the way around â€" looks and personality) and will make Derek somewhat conflicted... at least in the short run.

What do you think? Are you losing faith in Mer and Der? Or is this just what the doctor ordered to help them get their respective acts together?

TV Guide Reveals Major Grey's Anatomy Spoiler

Grey's Anatomy SpoilerPresumably, New York Magazine wryly observes, a magazine about TV would be aware that one of the reasons people like TV is surprise - the twists and turns of their favorite shows.

While some love their Grey's Anatomy spoilers (for reasons unknown to us), most would like to remain at least somewhat in the dark.

It's a little surprising, then, that TV Guide decided to reveal a huge Grey's Anatomy spoiler on its new cover. Actually, that's too generous. They flat-out gave away a major development.

It'd be one thing to spoil it inside the magazine. This site won't show the full cover until after the jump. But to give away the plot on the cover â€" the only part of TV Guide many people might see - seems a tad ridiculous. But what's done is done.

If you like, follow the jump to see the cover in question. We've even kept it out of our Grey's Anatomy photo gallery so as not to give it away to fans ...

George and Izzie: So What's the Deal?

Even after the tormented O'Malley finally came clean in the closing moments of "Let the Truth Sting," many fans are surely wondering what the heck going on with George and Izzie on Grey's Anatomy? Are they breaking up or not?

New Grey's Anatomy Spoilers, News & Gossip

Despite the embarrassing defeat of his alma mater, USC, to Pac-10 rival Stanford in football, TV Guide's Michael Ausiello was able to crawl out from under the covers to deliver some Grey's Anatomy spoilers in his weekly column.

Here's what he's got to say about our favorite show and what lies ahead in the coming weeks for the residents of Seattle Grace Hospital ...

Question: Stanford?! Seriously?! Wow. To help you feel better, I thought I'd give you the chance to turn things around and share some Grey's Anatomy scoop with us. You'll feel better, honest!
TV Guide: I don't usually put a lot of stock in alternative remedies, but I suppose it's worth a try. Dr. Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith) will be returning for a Halloween episode on October 25, and she'll make a controversial decision that causes a major rift between Cristina and Izzie. Also, the fallout from the George-Izzie relationship will throw Callie and Cristina together in an unexpected way, and someone is fired from their position.

Brooke Smith as Dr. Hahn

Question: What's the deal with the new actress (Lauren Stamile) cast on Grey's Anatomy? Is she Derek's sister or a potential new love interest?
TV Guide: Promise you won't shoot the messenger? I mean it. Promise. Okay, she's Derek's potential new love interest. Hey, you promised!

Question: More Grey's Anatomy news please!
TV Guide: Someone else from Meredith's past is returning next month. Stay tuned!

Grey's Anatomy Spoilers, News & Gossip For Thursday

We're coming up on 24 hours to showtime and TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has some interesting Grey's Anatomy spoilers and news in his latest column. We have excerpts from the venerable TV sleuth's weekly Q & A below...

Isobel Stevens, M.D.Q: Did Shonda Rhimes mislead everyone? Is she reviving the George and Izzie plot line instead of killing it? It sure looked that way in the premiere and the previews for this week's episode.

A: You should know by now that those promos only tell half the story. Take it from someone who has seen the entire episode, the couple is dealt a setback this Thursday when George ... let's just say ... he makes an important decision that sets the stage for Episode 3, "Let the Truth Sting." Keep in mind, Shonda hinted that that the fling wouldn't come undone until word got around Seattle Grace. In other news, Derek also makes a decision at the end of the episode that'll make all you Mer-Der fans swoon.
