Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: The Latest

Elisabeth Reaser PhotoHere are a few of the latest Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've come across ...

-- Sources confirm that Emmy nominee Elizabeth Reaser is returning to Grey's Anatomy this fall as Alex's erstwhile Jane Doe / Rebecca Pope. An exact episode count is still being worked out, but Michael Ausiello of TV Guide reports that it's "definitely more than one."

-- Ausiello also reports that it's looking more like Shonda Rhimes may officially stick a fork in George and Izzie in the season premiere when the pals are forced to examine their relationship while tending to a very unusual patient: a deer. That's right, an injured deer comes to Seattle Grace Hospital.

NOTE: We've also heard similar spoilers along these lines ... the only variant being the animal, which is also rumored to be a raccoon. Looks like O'Mizzie could really be done, though.

-- Here's a spoiler from allegedly from a Grey's Anatomy script that got out. The names have been altered, so it's unknown whether the women involved in the plot line are cast members, guest stars or some combination thereof. In any case, here's the reported story line:

Three women, Elaine, Connie, and Joanne, are obviously very close. Dr. Lawson enters with his interns, and Elaine tells Connie this is why she should get sick also... they are all so handsome.

Grey's Anatomy Season Four Spoilers

DerekFor those of you tired of all the off-season drama (we think that's just about everyone) and are looking forward to the upcoming Season 4 premiere, "A Change Is Gonna Come," here's a brief summation of the spoilers we've come across.

We can't vouch for their authenticity, except for part of the June 18 report which has since been proven true, but here are some of Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've read and where we've read them.

July 11: Two new interns will be introduced in the season premiere (three if you include Lexie Grey). And they'll have their hands full when a three-car accident sends multiple casualties pouring into Seattle Grace.

July 6: Expect changes to occur in the season premiere as the title is "A Change Is Gonna Come." The premiere will see new interns enter the medical world. One, who is supposed to be named Thomson, helps deliver a baby on the interns' first day on the job. Grey's Anatomy episodes would not be the same without a wacky case, in this case, a young boy bringing his bleeding female raccoon pet to the hospital in the hope a doctor will save her.

July 2: Clara, with her two young children, discuss the status of her husband Henry with one of the doctors. Henry has suffered extremely traumatic injuries during a car accident. The doctor says that the only thing holding Henry's head to his body is skin and muscle and that he will surely died very soon, even with surgery. Some of the doctors try to deal with new, stressed out interns. One of the interns will help deliver a baby.

July 1: George and Callie's relationship is proving to be quite a difficult puzzle for Shonda Rhimes, who is fully aware of the fan backlash over last season's George and Izzie hookup and has been doing quite a few rewrites.

June 18: Executives tied to the show say the Season Four plan is to add several cast members, including a fresh-faced, new intern in Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh). They are also seeking a new recurring male character to compete with Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy.

Callie O'Malley

Grey's Anatomy Gossip: O'Mizzie Over?

When it comes to summer Grey's Anatomy news, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide is all over it. Here's what he has to say about the Izzie-George pairing (which, apparently, is as unpopular with focus groups as our many reader comments would suggest) as well as a hint as to what's to come first for the new interns... one of whom we already know.

Question: I am in desperate need of some Grey's Anatomy scoop: What will happen to George and Callie? Please tell us Gizzie is officially dead.

Ausiello: Well, they're not officially dead, but it's certainly not looking good for the embattled lovebirds after they got eviscerated in a recent focus group. A source close to ABC tells says that George and Izzie polled 95 percent negative, leading one of the 200 participants to conclude that O'Mizzie will be dropped. I hereby take back all the bad stuff I've ever said about focus groups. I love focus groups. Focus groups are awesome.

Question: Got any scoop on Grey's Anatomy?

Ausiello: Two new interns will be introduced in the season premiere (three if you include Lexie Grey). And they'll have their hands full when a three-car accident sends multiple casualties pouring into Seattle Grace.

George, IzzieIzzie, George

So what do you think about George and Izzie? Or Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) being a full-time fixture? Anything else you want to get off your chest? Speak your mind in our forums.

Spoiler Watch: The Season 3 Finale

This Thursday's episode is entitled "Testing 1-2-3." It's the penultimate episode before the Season 3 finale, which is ominously titled "Didn't We Almost Have It All" and is scheduled for May 17.

Among the potential (and fairly predictable) Grey's Anatomy spoilers floating around regarding the season finale are:

  1. A new Chief of Surgery will be appointed at Seattle Grace.
  2. Jane Doe learns her identity... and learns she's married.
  3. George and Izzie are exposed (also rumored to be happening this week), and he and Callie will make a big decision about their relationship.
  4. The episode will revolve around not only Cristina and Burke's wedding, but our favorite interns' first exam results as well.
  5. One intern will not do nearly as well as they expected.

Let the speculation begin. Do you buy any of this? More importantly, do you think the season will end with a married Burktina?

George & Izzie

Grey's Anatomy Spoiler Watch: O'Mizzie Exposed, Jane Doe Married

Below is a Q & A with Michael Ausiello of TV Guide, one of the business' foremost providers of spoilers. Read what he has to say about the affair between George and Izzie, as well as other tidbits from inside the walls of Seattle Grace...

Katherine Heigl, T.R. KnightQ: Please tell me that Callie will find out soon about George and Izzie whoring around behind her back?
A: Poor Callie will remain blissfully unaware until around... um, let's go with May 10. The following week, I believe the smelly brown stuff hits the fan.

Q: Is Isaiah Washington leaving Grey's Anatomy?
A: If he is, ABC is doing a really good job of keeping a lid on it. This much I know for sure: At the end of next Thursday's episode, Preston Burke starts to have some serious reservations about marrying Cristina... and you won't believe whom he turns to for advice. (Hint: They had a little bit of a dust-up at the Golden Globes.)

Q: On Grey's Anatomy, will Jane Doe get an actual identity before the end of the season?
A: I hear she's getting an actual hubby in the season finale, so it stands to reason that her identity is part of the package.

Q: It seems that, on Grey's Anatomy, Mark's "failure" to go 60 days without sex must mean, dare I say it, that he's unable to have sex? Am I right?
A: Nope.

Darker Days Ahead For Meredith Grey?

Is Meredith Grey ready for yet another tragedy? We may have to prepare ourselves to find out, according to a recent spoiler rumor.

We'll see. According, to E! Online, just when we were thinking Meredith Grey's bright, shiny, post-death-experience life was getting back on track, our heroine will get close to someone only to lose her.

Meredith Grey
And yes, it does say her! It's not a series regular, but someone important in her life, says the source. If this is true, who could it be?

Spoiler Watch: Addisex in Full Effect?

AddisexMajor. Spoiler. Alert.

Read at your own risk.

Remember how we told you - via Michael Ausiello of TV Guide - that Grey's Anatomy decided to put the kibosh on Addisex due to the impending spin-off series?

Well, it appears either Shonda Rhimes had a change of heart or the insider was given inaccurate intelligence, because Ausiello reports that the two of them are definitely going to hook up again before she leaves for L.A.!

In fact, rumor has it that it's her affair with Alex (Justin Chambers) that prompts Addison (Kate Walsh) to flee Seattle - not just her rift with Mark (Eric Dane), as was originally reported.

Also not helping matters, though, is McSteamy's "failure" to stick to his 60-day vow of chastity. Why does our TV Guide source I put "failure" in quotes, you ask? Because of a twist (and a surprising one at that)!

Moreover, Addison won't be the only Seattle Grace doc who is considering a change of scenery in the coming weeks, inside sources say.

All the drama surrounding O'Mizzie will prompt George (T.R. Knight) to consider transferring to another hospital as well.

Spin-off Spoiler Watch: Details Emerge

Kate WalshMore spin-off details are filtering out of Grey's Anatomy headquarters.

Despite producers' efforts to keep a lid on the potential Grey's Anatomy spin-off, tentatively titled Private Practice, some more supposed plot spoilers have been exposed by the Los Angeles Times:

After reaching her personal and professional breaking point, Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) heads down to Santa Monica, Calif.

The plan: to seek advice from two of her old medical school friends, Naomi (Merrin Dungey) and Jackson (Taye Diggs).

This is a couple whom she believes have it all: a beautiful teen daughter, a great marriage and a highly successful health cooperative.

Addison quickly learns, though, that Jackson, also a successful TV health guru, has divorced Naomi. During her visit to California, Addison meets the rest of the gang at the cooperative - a widowed alternative medicine practitioner, a self-doubting therapist, and a male gynecologist who knows little about women - and realizes she's on familiar ground.

Figuring she's due for a change and she'd fid right in with this driven, yet quirky crew, Addison decides to bolt Seattle Grace and join the Oceanside Wellness Group - if ABC picks up the Grey's Anatomy spin-off, of course.

Grey's Spoiler Watch: Why Addison Bolts

Another spoiler has come to light regarding how the possible Grey's Anatomy spin-off begins, and it comes from a fairly reliable source.

Kate Walsh and Eric DaneNot that this would be difficult to predict, but according to TV Guide spy Michael Ausiello, Addison comes to the conclusion that McSteamy a looooong way away from being ready to start a family and decides to hightail it out of Seattle Grace.

Dejected, she goes to Los Angeles to meet with one of the world's foremost fertility experts.

This specialist also happens to be one of her oldest friends (one of many recently announced guest stars) and the owner of a brand new wellness center - which happens to be in the market for a neonatal surgeon.

The rest - if the ratings come through - will be history and a full season of the Kate Walsh-led series will commence in the fall.

As far as regular Grey's Anatomy goes, Kristin Veitch of E! Online reports that - are you ready for this - George and Izzie actually fall in love. Gulp.

Grey's Spoiler Watch: Izzie & George?

Rumors are flying that Izzie and George will be hooking up on this week's all-new episode (a rumor no doubt perpetuated by the previews for this week's episode, which we'll bring you tomorrow).

Izzie O'Malley? We went to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello for confirmation, and the insider's latest online spoilers are cryptic. No giveaways.

However, he does go so far as to say that after tomorrow's Grey's Anatomy airs, you'll know which one of the following six rumored plot twists (and wow, these are some interesting ones) is real:

  • After breaking things off with Cristina, Burke will transfer to another hospital.
  • Callie will reveal she's pregnant.
  • Izzie and George will hook up.
  • Izzie will be reunited with her daughter, and it's someone we've already seen on the show.
  • Addison will be diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
  • Derek and Meredith's relationship will hit a roadblock when one of her exes (Finn?) shows up on her doorstep with one thing on his mind.

As for the low-key demise of Addisex, Ausiello hears from his sources that as soon as it was decided that Justin Chambers wouldn't be following Kate Walsh to her possible spin-off series, the producers pulled the plug on any possible romance between the two.

The thinking being: no sense in getting viewers more invested in Addisex if only one of them is definitely returning to Grey's Anatomy next season.

Which of the above rumors will prove correct? Tell us what you think. Leave us a comment and vote in our poll at right!
