Q: Could I pleeeease get some Grey's Anatomy spoilers?

A: Here's your Grey's Anatomy scoop: The long-simmering Mer-Der-Izzie-Alex quadrangle comes to a head this week. Okay, maybe "long-simmering" is a bit much. Basically, Derek gives Meredith an ultimatum about their new living arrangements: "If I move in, your friends [i.e. Izzie and Alex] must move out." I won't reveal how the housing shake-up plays out, but I can tell you that by the end of the episode a new classic TV odd couple will be born. (Hint: The unlikely duo may or may not include any of the folks listed above.)

If the two videos we posted last week weren't enough to get you excited for the return of Grey's Anatomy after its week hiatus, we're pretty sure the three (!) additional sneak previews of this Thursday's new episode should do the trick!

Two of the three clips are downright funny.

In the first video, a lunch between the residents quickly turns into a fight, junior high style. In the second, George prepares for attempt #2 at the big test. Finally, Mark (who apparently knows about Callie and Erica) gets into a hilarious exchange with the ladies about it.

Q: Grey's Anatomy spoilers please!

A: Alex and Izzie contemplate moving in together next week. Well, one of them contemplates it. The other one just says mean and hurtful things.

Q: Any good Mer-Der news?

A: This is more Der than Mer, but the October 16 episode will feature Patrick Dempsey naked, save for one strategically placed pillow. That's pretty good, yes?

The next new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Here Comes the Flood," will air on Thursday, October 9 at 9 p.m. Below are a couple of clips to tide us over!

The first preview shows the flood in question as water spills into Seattle Grace - and not in short supply. Richard struggles to keep things under control ...

The second sneak peek is even better - Derek wants Meredith to start "our life" by kicking out roommates Alex and Izzie, who don't take kindly to the news.

A quick Grey's Anatomy spoiler / news items from Kristin at E! Online ...

Q: I have a weird question: Why is the next new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Here Comes the Flood," airing in two weeks? Is it because of the two-hour premiere? How about some scoop on that episode? Maybe the reason why the flood started and what will it do?

A: Grey's Anatomy is off this week because of the good ol' American election campaign: the vice-presidential debate is this Thursday night. Most major networks will preempt their regular programming for Biden vs. Palin. As for the flood, it's caused by a good ol' plumbing leak.

A little tidbit from Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello on the presence (or lack thereof) of a baby in tomorrow's fifth season Grey's Anatomy premiere ...

Q: By now you should be able to tell us: Is there a baby in the mix in Grey's Anatomy or not?

A: Not in tomorrow's two-hour premiere there's not.

There you have it.

Callie (Sara Ramirez) is one of several Grey's Anatomy characters who is rumored to be pregnant in Season Five. If this rumor turns out to be true, it won't be revealed tomorrow.

Amid all the controversy over dreams, deaths, lies and stabbings (not to mention a fair amount of romance), certain issues are swept under the rug.

One such Grey's Anatomy question: Are Miranda Bailey and her husband Tucker going to reconcile this season? TV Guide caught up with the acclaimed actress Chandra Wilson, who plays Bailey, to ask that very question on the Emmy Awards' red carpet.

Her answer? Well, you're just gonna have to watch it unfold in Season Five. But Chandra Wilson did hint that counseling may be in store for the two - and teased that this season will see some cool medical cases and beautiful faces come to Seattle Grace Hospital.

Two more days, people. That's it! As the long, long countdown to the Season Five premiere of Grey's Anatomy nears its end, here are some news and spoilers from E! Online scribe Kristin Dos Santos and her always-entertaining spoiler column.

Q: How is my man Kevin McKidd on Grey's Anatomy?
A: Whoa. You mean my man Kevin McKidd? ... Ahem, anyway? He is awesome. He is actually my most favoritest part of the Grey's Anatomy premiere and leaves me so weak-kneed and apparently weak-tongued that I can't even use proper grammar. (Help!) I think you will adore the interaction between "Major Hottie" (McKidd) and Cristina Yang. He plays a no-BS Army doctor who is so raw and tough and dirty and... suffice to say that if he were to return later in the season, you would have good reason to watch and rewatch every episode of this series.

Q: Grey's Anatomy is back this week! Do spill!
A: Sir, yes sir! Gladly. I've seen this Thursday's two-hour premiere and let me tell you, it is good to have our Seattle Grace friends back — and also good to see that those previews ABC released (Rose pregnant; Derek dying) really weren't true and not a big part of the storyline at all.
