Grey's Anatomy Insider News (Page 19)

Winning a Battle, Losing the War

Grey's Anatomy: Thursdays at 9When you're a surgical intern fighting for respect, and fighting off the advances of your patients and your boss alike, every day feels like a battle. Welcome to Meredith Grey's life in "Winning a Battle, Losing the War" the episode airing Thursday at 9 p.m.

This tension-filled hour was the third episode from the show's first season, following "A Hard Day's Night" and "The First Cut is the Deepest," which aired last week. Re-live it or watch for the first time as George's manhood is called into question, Alex spars with the female interns, and a friend of Richard fights for his life. As usual, we'll have a full list of quotes and a full recap up shortly thereafter.

Thanks For the Recap, Quotes, Etc.

You're quite welcome. It's no problem. In fact, it's our pleasure to keep you up to date on all things Grey's Anatomy, and that means an Episode Guide, an image gallery and a list of quotes from last night's episode, "Thanks For the Memories." A Thanksgiving episode may have seemed out of place in mid-July, but by the end, we were ready to sit down for dinner with Izzie, Dr. Burke and the rest of the staff. We bet you were, too.

George & His Dad

A Double Shot of Grey, Please!

You got it. ABC just finished airing the Grey's Anatomy pilot and the second episode from the first season, back-to-back. While it was forever ago (or at least a year and three months) that Meredith began to fall for Derek and struggled along with the rest of the interns beginning the program, it felt like the first time this evening. Watching the characters we have come to know and love introduced at the show's onset was well worth it.

Mer & DerIf you missed it, or just can't get enough of all things Grey, we have an episode guide from the pilot, "A Hard Day's Night," along with an image gallery and a full list of memorable quotes -- of which there were no shortage, from Mer's outpourings to Cristina's wisecracks.

You can also check out our guide to "The First Cut is the Deepest," which aired at 10 p.m., immediately following the pilot. We have a handful of pictures and a ton of quotes from this oldie as well. Definitely worth a look at some of the good lines.

Don't forget to tune in Sunday for another episode, as Grey's remains in its original time slot (in addition to its new Thursday home) for the summer.

Something to Talk About... Again

Three Inquisitive InternsABC sure likes airing this one episode. Sure, it's a good one, but we've already seen "Something to Talk About" multiple times now. How about a little variety, ABC?

It's okay, though. We forgive you. Any Grey's Anatomy is better than nothing. Those of you fans who have somehow missed the episode's 23 airings, or just want to re-live the drama one more time, can check out our exclusive Episode Guide. We also have a list of quotes and a comprehensive collection of pictures.

Good news: Starting this week, ABC will be easing Grey's Anatomy into its new Thursday time slot by airing the very first episode, "A Hard Day's Night," at 9 p.m. EDT. Repeats will continue to be aired on Sundays at 10 p.m. for the rest of the summer as well. Two episodes a week! What could be better (besides, oh, the start of Season Three)?

No Need to Deny, Deny, Deny This Fact...

So Much McDreamy... Last night's episode was great. Even though we've seen it before. It's amazing how good Grey's Anatomy is, even in repeat viewings. We can't help but feel for Meredith all over again as Addison comes between her and Derek, and watching Cristina battle her emotions is both funny and heartbreaking.

Whether or not you watched the show last night, check out our Episode Guide for a play-by-play. The Insider has also compiled a list of quotes from "Deny, Deny, Deny" for your reading enjoyment. Prepare to laugh, cry and make snide remarks along with Cristina et al.

We're still at leats two and a half months away from the start of next season, but we should at least have some good opportunities to catch up on re-runs this summer, which is certainly better than nothing!

Episode Guide & Character Interviews!

Big Pimpin'Another Sunday in June, another Grey's Anatomy repeat. Still, an hour watching old episodes is better than just about anything new. Wouldn't you agree? Thought so. Richard's "pimped out" look (as Dr. Burke called it) alone was reason to watch.

Great stuff. Check out our detailed Episode Guide to "Make Me Lose Control," if you missed it or want to relive it one more time. Also, be sure to read our list of quotes and take a gander at our image gallery from last night.

SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION ALERT: Today we introduced a new feature as the Insider sat down with Meredith Grey for an exclusive interview! It's very insightful! You can find our interviews, which will be added periodically as we catch up with the characters (it can be hard to track them down at times), by using the menu on the right-hand side. Or just clicking on the link above!

Let It Be Known That Our Guide is Live

Sure, Sunday night's episode of Grey's Anatomy was a re-run that no one probably watched. But we're the Insider, so we did. What did you expect? So great is our commitment to television's best drama that we even took the time to compile a comprehensive Episode Guide to "Let It Be."

Cristina at DinnerFrom Cristina's awkwardness with Dr. Burke to the growing MerDer tension and a number of compelling patients, the episode was certainly a good one. Then again, so are most. Definitely worth a repeat viewing.

Hopefully you were able to check it out. If not, be sure to read our Guide, as well as our complete list of quotes. We also have a number of pictures from Sunday posted. Last but not least, please participate in our fun weekly Caption Contest if you haven't already!

The Eyes Have ItWow. Did anyone else lose sleep last night? That was a heck of a ride. So many stories, so much emotion.

We will also be updating our collections of quotes and images throughout the day, so be sure to check back often. You can find Part I quotes and pictures by following the corresponding links here, or through the menu above, or through the links on our Episode guides. Ditto for Part II quotes and pictures. Check Out Our "17 Seconds" Guide & More

That was something else. The pure emotion and drama seen during last night's episode, "17 Seconds," may have exceeded the incredible hype surrounding thIzzie Loses Ite two-night, three-hour Grey's Anatomy finale. Re-live the episode by reading our Episode Guide (click the link above).

We are busy compiling quotes and pictures from the episode as well, and will have our Round Table discussion posted by this afternoon. The fact that there are two more thrilling episodes tonight has not really sunk in yet.

Will Denny survive? Will Dr. Burke make it? Did last night mark the end of Izzie's medical career? What will happen with Mer & Der? Regardless, it should be entertaining to watch.

Damage Done; New Episode Guide Live
